He also reviewed her list of medications and made recommendations to reduce/eliminate those that contributed to memory issues. Tests have been ordered. They refused to show us the same courtesy we showed them when we waited 2-3 hours waiting on them. They refused to work her in or acknowledge our time. Their time is more important than their patients time and needs. Definitely not a way to run a practice and definitely not worth more of my time.

Dr. Wakwaya is very knowledgeable, thorough, and has really helped educate me and my family on my health and longterm plans. He was able to work with my other teams of doctors to determine an extremely rare diagnosis. But also, the entire staff there is absolutely darling. I know that I can call or email Erin or Christina any questions and they're very responsive, and if for some reason they're going to be out they provide easy instructions for getting in contact with others on the team that can help. Dr. Wakwaya's patient rooms nurse also so kind and will inform you of any vaccines that they have that are recommended for my condition (such as boosters) and it has really helped me stay ahead of any respiratory illness! The respiratory therapy team is HILARIOUS. I think I've seen at least 3 now throughout the various types of tests and they sure know how to make weird breathing tests entertaining and easy! I've had breathing tests elsewhere many times and sometimes they can be super laboring to the point I want to cry, but the only tears I'm shedding with y'all are tears of laughter. The vitals team, always so friendly and helpful with directing you through the patient itinerary! Phlebotomy, another joyous bunch, they've made me so comfortable, I trust their steady hands! I'm to the point where I can even watch them do it, couldn't do they before and I had had dozens if not hundreds of blood draws before! The check-in crew, talk about an operation! We as patients sometimes have really long back to back appointments and somehow y'all keep track of us and make sure we're getting to where we need to be. Thank you, it can be confusing for us sometimes! I don't want to assume, but as a patient it really feels like everyone likes working there or if they don't, we as patients sure don't know it! Anyway, I've seen over a hundred doctors in my young life and this practice is the MVP. No disrespect to any of my other fabulous doctors either because I do have insanely amazing other doctors too! This place is the absolute worst. A friend referred me here, but I wasn't able to see the doctor…read morehe's been seeing for years. I agreed to see one of the nurse practitioners and paid the higher fee for my first visit. She was not able to advise me on anything during that visit as she didn't have my bloodwork results yet. I have not been able to communicate with her at all about prescriptions since having my bloodwork run. The doctors do not communicate with patients through clinic's messaging system, unlike many other clinics. Messages are only responded to by the assistants. After much back and forth due to this, it has been almost two months without one of my agreed upon prescriptions being filled. One of my other prescriptions was incorrectly filled. After multiple calls and messages with assistants that were just following a script, the office manager called and insisted that it had been filled correctly and told me to go to CVS to handle it with them. The CVS pharmacist showed me how it was sent in and explained how it was done incorrectly. She tried to call the clinic but only only got the AI system. I have made more calls and sent messages since then. Today the office manager again called and insisted that the prescription was filled correctly, complete with a bad attitude as usual. She then told me I'm being fired as a patient. This is how they deal with their incompetence. This the worst run clinic I have ever dealt with.

They require constant visits, and it feels like nothing but a cash grab. I've been on medication that works great for me. However, when it came time for my refill after 60 days, I was told I had to come in and pay $145--for what? The medication works fine. I followed their instructions back in December, refilled my meds in February, and now it's May and the same issue again. With inflation and the rising cost of living, who can afford to pay out of pocket every time just to get a refill? And let's not even talk about the cost of the prescriptions themselves since I haven't met my deductible. Please explain why an in‑person visit is required for refills within a 60-90 time frame? Every refill requires another appointment, regardless of whether the medication is working. It honestly feels like they are milking patients. I only see these people for one thing yet they want me to come in for other services. Why? I only want to see you for one thing. They then said, I would need to show them proof of getting wellness services else where. Why? I don't have to prove anything to you'll. I only see you for 1 thing. So why the hold up. If the money went toward improving the office, it might make more sense--but the place looks untouched since the day they moved in, likely back in the '70s. It's old and outdated. Trust me--if you value your time and money, go somewhere else. Find a provider who cares more about patients than padding their pockets. GREED IS RUNNING THIS OFFICE.

I have complicated health issues and he's navigated around them without any issues and no secondary problems. His staff is courteous, prompt and helpful. I'm two days post-op now and in minimal pain he took great care of me once again. My wounds look great and inconspicuous in places where previous scars were. Extremely happy about that! Highly recommended, my previous surgery was 6 or so years ago and also no complaints or complications. That one was more intense. Same experience and why I came back to him.
