Natalie was the last receptionist I spoke to and she seemed very unconcerned with my dire situation. I had submitted a packet late June that Dr. Hatley needed to complete for me in order to keep my driver's license ( I had recently had several car accidents that did not involve alcohol). It is now mid-September and I just found out through the patient portal it has been faxed to the DPS. I have been asking, only to get through to the front desk, for at least a month for this information in order to send it as I also had to get an Optometrist and Psychiatrist to complete a portion. KFM, Valerie, JUST messaged me that is has been faxed. I, not KFM, was to fax it so I could sent the COMPLETE packet, not piece-meal. I am told that my PSYCHIATRIST needs to complete the entire packet all over again. This entire process has been handled very poorly, especially for something so important. I was, never once, contacted by a doctor even though I had asked to at least make an appointment with whomever was handling Dr. Hatley's patients, as she is on maternity leave. I was told it was Lucy, a Nurse Practitioner at the facility. I was refused an appointment. DO NOT put your family in the care of Keller Family Medical. They are extremely cold and do not communicate with patients.

I am really appreciative because Holland is inquisitive and you can sense when that comes from a place of genuine concern. I've also been seen by Starnes and had no issues. I use the patient portal to schedule appointments and message for refill requests, and they're prompt and responsive. It's nice to have a doctor's office I trust. It's a hard field to be in, and it's really appreciated when you can tell the staff is welcoming and kind. Appreciate yall.

My experience with North Hills Family Medicine has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I…read morefollowed their instructions and uploaded medical records, only to then be told they also require records from another previous practice that has been closed for months. What makes this particularly frustrating is that I am not a brand-new patient with an unknown history. My provider has treated me previously, yet I am now being put through repeated hurdles involving records from prior locations before my ongoing prescription needs are addressed. I have made it clear that I am willing to cooperate and obtain whatever additional records they reasonably need. My concern is the way this has been handled and the apparent willingness to allow a patient's established medication to be interrupted while waiting for historical records from a closed medical practice. The communication has also left me feeling as though I am being passed from one requirement to another rather than anyone taking ownership of the situation or helping resolve it. Patients should not have to repeatedly chase records and worry about interruption of established treatment simply because their provider changed practices. Based on my experience, the administrative process and patient communication have been unacceptable. I expected much better continuity of care and assistance from a family medicine practice, particularly when dealing with an established patient and an ongoing prescription. Unfortunately, my experience warrants no stars !

Since that letter, two things have happened: My mail order prescription expired, and my annual physical came due. Well, to make a long story short, it took several go-arounds to get a new 30 day prescription filled, not 90, like I had (low-dosage statin drug). It got sorted, so all is well. I was expecting to meet and see the new doc, Jeniffier Mahand, M.D. Instead I saw Jennifer Rodges, FNP-C (I think that means PA, Physicians Assistant). I liked Jennifer. She was efficient and listened. Since nothing is really off, next step was some biometrics on bodily fluids. Since a new doc is on board, the clinic is not doing the draws/collections yet. So I was given an order for Quest Diagnostics (closest is in the Tom Thumb at Rufe Snow and 1709). This was actually a good thing, as I forgot to fast. So I'm resetting my rating a bit, until I can judge how the place, without Dr. Mayfield, runs. Don't take this as a bad thing, but without more data, I need a reset. Bottom line: Big fan of the location, as I ride my bike there. Location is on the slowly growing bike/hike path that winds through Keller.

He talks things out with you and will come up with the best route to take instead of putting you on bunch of medication until finding one that sticks. He will let you switch or change doses if it sounds good to try and get you on the perfect plan. He has always been so kind and seems to really care. I have crazy anxiety. It comes on strong in traffic. So if I'm willing to drive out to his office all the way out in Keller then to have a Doctor here in Fort Worth where they wanted to push every kind of medicine on me or a Doctor that won't give you medication you have known to work and been on for years. Dr Musgrave listened to me without judgment and came up with a plan for me that got me off of too much medication and now I'm off of medication ai didn't need and on the proper meds with the proper does. I'm taking way less medication and feel better then ever. I recommend him to my best friend who is Now a patient of Dr a Musgrave now! And she is a nurse, so she is not naive about Doctors and medication. The office staff is nice which is always nice. And their website has a patient portal that is easy to use and messages and requests are answered is a timely manner and always get a response within a day at most. It's a nice clean Building and most importantly especially since I drive a long distance, I have never had to wait longer than under 10 mins. Usually my name is called in 5 minutes. I've never waited like other offices. So yeah, great Place, great staff, Great Doctor who gives great care.
