My father was recently in this hospital in the Cath Lab to have a stent put in…read more At every step from 6:50am in the morning until we left just after 2:30 PM we met nothing but nice people and a very clean environment Cath Lab 10 out of 10. The nurses were incredibly polite and informative if they didn't have the answer to a question they found it for you special shout out to Karen who helped open this clinic many moons ago. After the procedure, the surgeon brought me into a room where she showed me all of the details regarding my father's heart. When I got back to the room, there were more questions from my father significant other and dad Karen was awesome. She answered all of our questions. This hospital is nice because it has a Starbucks inside of it as well. A shout out to the folks that work in the cafeteria. My dad woke up after breakfast and they were able to find him some bacon even though the lunch service had started they also had some incredible apple cobbler from scratch that was amazing so good in fact he had me get him one to take home with him. Can't say enough good things about this hospital. This is my father second procedure here and he said the first experience was very similar to the one I had here this time.

However, the MRI machine at this location is too small for her. She weighs 335 lbs, and the scanner's opening cannot accommodate her size.My wife's life is in danger, but they do not want us to leave the hospital. The doctor here has called over eight other hospitals, but they are all telling him that their locations cannot accommodate her size either. She is having severe sciatic nerve issues, and we have been told that if it gets worse, she could become paralyzed or suffer permanent damage. Her dr.was told by Baylor they could take. Now Baylor saying that they can't help her because of her size. This shows the hospital director doesn't care about other people family.

Patients, BE AWARE!…read more Expensive blood tests are being ordered unnecessarily without first consulting with the physician, leaving patients to bear the cost. I went to see Dr. Le based on my PCP's recommendation for a brief consultation. I had already completed a full blood work panel at my PCP's office the day before. After I checked in, the front office staff directed me to a phlebotomist and insisted I get my blood drawn. I explained that I had just had blood work done the previous day and that this visit was for a consultation only. However, the office team insisted that I could not see Dr. Le unless I had a new set of blood tests done. Eventually, I gave in and had my blood drawn, as I had already taken time off work for the appointment. (Dr. Le was professional during the visit.) The worst part came when I received my bill from Texas Oncology after insurance adjustments. In addition to the regular tests, such as CBC and Iron Binding tests, a test called Flow Cytometry was ordered without my knowledge or consent. This test is typically used in medical research to study cell populations and particles. The test cost nearly $4,500, and even after insurance adjustments, I am still responsible for almost $700. Expensive and unnecessary blood tests are being ordered without proper consultation, leaving patients to pay the price.
