Quick and easy self-service water refill. Come with empty bottle, place it under spout and turn on the water, pay at the front while waiting for your bottle(s) to fill, and then turn off the water when your bottle is full. As of August 2026, it is $0.50 per gallon. I believe they only accept cash. read more

It's 50 cents per gallon now as of July 1st. Water here tastes the same as most water stores that are selling at 40 cents per gallon.

Awesome service as they wash and fill your 3 and 5 gallon water containers. Three different water quality types to choose from. A bit pricy but worth it read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. First of all the guy working speaks almost no English and attempting to communicate with him is frustrating, and to top it all off he's extremely rude. My wife and I were looking to move our water needs to a smaller mom and shop owned place if the water tasted good of course, we walked in and explained that we have 15 jugs (5 gallon jugs) to refill but before giving him our business we wanted to try the water, he refused and for a second I was like maybe he doesn't understand me... But he then answered no free samples you need to buy water and take home to try. Right when he said that I told him that if this is how he does business that I'll have to pass. We've heard good things but customer service is a first, if you don't know how to treat customers and earn our business then you don't deserve it. read more

Sooo happy to find a local water store! Freshwater was a quick and easy refilling experience. They have several carts available to help you bring your gallons to/from your car. My entire experience was simple and no nonsense. I liked that the manger was not hovering or micromanaging, yet friendly and eager to answer any questions. The prices are 30 cents per gallon for regular filtered drinking water and 1.25 for their alkaline water. They also have an outdoor dispenser for after hours refilling of their REGULAR water (not alkaline). read more

I've been going to this store for years and was interested in learning more about how they filter it. I took a picture of the filter and the diagram to show my wife and I asked the guy how the filter works. He got so defensive and really rude and in my face. Not being willing to explain the process makes me feel like they're hiding something. I hope someone is actually coming out to test this stuff and they aren't just up-charging us for tap water. read more

I have never did the whole refillable water thing till now. I found the place welcoming and the employee was nice. The place is clean and the carts are easy to grab. Got in and got out! Prices are great! read more

1.50 a gallon for alkaline or $7.50 for 5 gal. He's friendly and takes cash only. self serve water stations and quick in and out dwfinitely will come back again read more

My wife and I use this water store to keep our 5 gal. Water bottles filled. Price is up 5 cents since using the place, but for the water it is worth it! If you need to ask a bunch of questions, or need to have someone explain how this place works, you may have issues due to a bit of language barrier, but if you can calculate the cost and operate a water faucet, you're good! Never too busy, never rude, always a good source for bottled water! read more

Not the best place to get alkaline water but does the job. Family owned and do not have proper communication skills. I asked about the PH level the man had no clue read more

Not sure why Freshwater got such bad reviews, but I had a great experience there. My husband normally gets our two 5 gallon bottles filled, but since he just had surgery and couldn't life anything heavy, I needed to get the refills. I pulled up in my van with my toddler inside and backed it up (saw someone else do this and made total sense to minimize the distance needed to carry these things). It's located in the Stater Bros. strip mall and there are some shady characters around there, but I go there pretty often between Habuya and the Indian restaurant. Anyway, kiddo didn't want to get out and I didn't really want him running around that area while I was getting water, so I opened the van doors and walked in with my empty jugs. I had no idea how this all worked, so told the two old Asian guys there it was my first time and they pointed me to the taps which you just turn on and regulate yourself. Easy enough. I stood near the door watching my son and one of the old guys asked if I had a kid in the car, to which I said yes (he was literally right in front of the door), and he stood there next to him and helped me watch him. I filled my bottles, paid them cash, and he pushed a little cart to me so I could use it. No thanks, seems more trouble to lift and put on the cart then lift from cart to my van, so I just carried one at a time (thanks weight training!) to the back. The guy got a laugh out of this and said I was strong because I have to carry a kid around, which is also true, ha! So I had a great experience and we have been getting water here for three years now. We have tried the alkaline, but I didn't experience anything life-changing, so we just stick with the regular stuff. read more

First time ever having to buy water. The guy was very friendly and helped me thru the process. Water is great. Cash only.

This is great place for quick service in N out, and low price. Many taps to fill the water quickly and multiple bottle at a time. Person at the counter is like machine , good for routine activity of paying money. If you want to talk to him then best of luck, he can not speak any English. I bought bottle and kept asking him whether it is BPA free he never answered. I ended up buying , it turned out not a BPA feee bottle. So I suggest not to buy bottle here, checkout Walmart. Another doubt I have is how often then clean the filters. Does heath department audit them regularly. read more

I don't know why people are giving this place bad reviews. You go in, and get water and leave. We've never had rude service. We do get great water though. We've gone to many other water places around the area and Freshwater has the best water. Tastes fresh and clean. Hopefully people will stop complaining about the owner and just go there to get water. read more

Very nice people here! Very convenient for me. I come here every time when I need refill water.

I've always had a good experience at this place. It's pretty simple you go in, fill up your water jugs, and leave? Not much to complain about. They do only accept cash so be prepared for that. They offer regular water and alkaline. I prefer alkaline and the value is the normal price anywhere you go. Employees aren't ever rude to me... they've helped me plenty of times. Overall this place is very convenient. read more

You're there to get water, not to socialize. The water is great...been coming here for years. Reason for the lack of star is due to cash only and no debit/credit option. read more

Everyone complains about the old man who runs this place. Is he grumpy? Hell yeah. But he's never been anything but nice to me. As long as you go and try to clean up after yourself he won't give you a hard time. Best tasting water in the area. read more

Just showed up at 11:55am looking to fill my one gallon jug and though the doors were open their gate was closed with a little clock saying be back at 12:25pm Very disappointed. I came here because according to google and yelp they were open and on my way to my next job. Now I know to not come so I don't run into this again read more

Yet, another review of a place I've been going to for years and recently realized that, "oh crap! I haven't reviewed them." There isn't much to this place so I'll make this short and sweet. The GOOD: Price per gallon is better than the machines Has 8 fill faucets for more bottles (I bring 4 five gallon jugs) or more people They provide carts in case it's too heavy to lug your bottles back to your car The owner is polite They sell bottles and dispensers at very fair prices The Bad: uhhhhhhh....they're further away from me than I would like. I think they are cash only...pretty sure. read more

I love this place. I love that i don't have to chat or have any fake conversations with anyone. I just hand the kind old man some money and I fill my water jug up. They offer alkaline and purified water options. Cash only is awesome and I'd run my business the same way if I had one. Never any lines or waiting either. The place is clean and offers excellent water filtration quality. Would definitely recommend. All these low star reviews make ZERO sense. The place is awesome. I don't even wear a mask and I get no harassment. 10 outta 10 will love it. Anyone saying otherwise is just here for likes and attention. Go be productive like that happy old man making his bread read more

I used to buy our water here but yesterday they up their price from 25 cents to 30 cents a gallon. The bald attendant is also rude and disrespectful to customers. Sayonara, I'll just buy in the machine outside the Stater's. read more

It's quick, it's clean and it's cheap. Doesn't get any better than that. Would much rather go here than to a water dispensing machine.

I have never been to a more pathetic place than this one. The Asian guy in the store is rude. The bottle I purchased had a leak and I showed it to him there itself before leaving the store. Instead of acknowledging the leak he blamed us for making the faucet (spigot) loose. He refused service to us and returned our money. Some people in the store complained to him but he was rude to them as well. He put the damaged bottle back on the shelf. Wouldn't recommend anybody to buy bottle from the store. Sure he must be putting other returned bottle back on the shelf for sale. read more

25 cents a gallon for the best tasting water around? Can't beat it. I trust this place way more than those water dispensing boxes outside the supermarkets. At least here, you can see the big ass filters in the back and there is also an ice cold dispenser inside if you're thirsty. read more

Good find. I used to fill up my water jugs at the Glacier machines located outside Ralph's until I saw this place. Once I saw the 3 huge reverse osmosis filters I was convinced. It all comes down to size. You just can't get this level of filtration out of a vending machine size filter. read more

The best water place for me in 12 years. I've never try any where else. TheCleanest and the best taste.

Today as I entered the store and approached the counter the clerk, without greeting me, looked fixedly at me with an expression of disgust and contempt. He held his gaze, part scowl part sneer, for about 30 seconds without speaking. It was very uncomfortable. I inquired about the alkaline water that they advertise for sale on a large sign above the entrance and he stated we will have it in a couple of weeks. False advertising is illegal. I reported this to the BBB and the Department of Consumer Affairs. My advise is to find another water delivery company as I have done. read more
