Came across this place while driving through the area and visiting another spot. Hadn't heard of this brand before but I was intrigued. Menu was posted on the door which was very helpful, although there was really no other customers inside at the time we visited. I was able to decide on the Tex Mex bowl before even going inside. Staff was really friendly and helpful in assisting my friend with his questions. The Tex Mex bowl with steak was really good. Lots of great ingredients and an overall very fresh, healthy and tasty dish! I wasn't crazy about spending $15 on a bowl and bottled water, but I suppose that is the market price on this type of food. Pretty solid healthy lunch spot. Whenever I'm feeling meh about what I want to eat for lunch, I always stop my Freshii. Everything on the menu is pretty much vegetarian (score) with the option of adding any protein to the wraps, bowls, and salads. I usually go with the kale Caesar salad (which is very yummy) but today i decided to go with the umami salad and it didn't disappoint. Freshii like the name is always fresh and I'm always happy and satisfied with my lunch (portions are a good amount). They're a little pricey compared to other lunch places, with each bowl ranging from $9-$14. I've tried the chia seed pudding and a smoothie here before, but I'm excited to keep trying different things from the menu! read more

I usually (sadly) don't eat enough healthy foods when I go out but recently I have started to change my ways. There just doesn't seem to be that many options in the area for fresh veggie bowls. I can think of Fresh Kitchen but they only have a couple of locations in Tampa Bay. So recently, when a friend suggested Freshii, I got excited and had to just check it out for myself. Here are my ratings based on different criteria: Quality of food: Good. I ordered Biiblos which has quinoa, spinach, walnuts, chickpeas, feta cheese, dried cranberries, cucumber, carrots, spicy harissa tahini dressing. They have an option to add falafel or protein for extra cost but I chose to just stick with the basics. Everything tasted fresh. The dressing could have had more flavor though. I have eaten tahini based sauces many times before and this was the least flavorful sauce that I have ever had. I had to use Sriracha to the rescue. Decor: okay. The place looked modern but lacking in any sort of art or decor. The outside area was well covered under huge unbrellas. Cleanliness: good. No complaints. All the tables and outside areas were kept neat and clean. Service: fast and friendly. The owner/cashier took my order and described all the options to me pretty well. The only thing was that they don't have a water dispenser that a guest can just walk up to. You have to ask the people behind the counter for a refill which gets to be a little painful when they're busy. Speed of food preparation: quick. The lunch rush hour had quite a few people standing in line and the folks looked a little overwhelmed but it still only took less than 5 mins for my name to be called...granted I was 3rd in line when I got here. Price: pricey. My bowl without any added protein came out to around $9 after tax which is a little high for a quick meals type of a place. This is a good healthy option if you're in the area. I think that Fresh Kitchen is still better as they cook their veggies and have more variety for toppings. read more

Does healthy have to be bland? That's what it is here unfortunately. With a choice of salads, bowls, burritos and smoothies I opted for the Baja burrito with a tortilla soup. It really shouldn't even be called a burrito, it's more of a wrap containing quinoa, lettuce, cabbage, corn, avocado and baked chicken. I guess this is what healthy food is but it's dull. Outstanding!! We visited FRESHII today and had a wonderful experience. Each of us had different items and each of the items were wonderful. I had the new Bamboo bowl with the green curry sauce. Has lots of fresh vegetables and browns rice. The curry sauce had a great flavor and they put just the right amount on. Highly recommend trying out their juice cleanse! I did 3 days with a co-worker and combined we lost 11lbs! It is only $80 and consists of 4 juices and 1 salad a day for the 3 days. By the time you get to the salad it's the best thing you've ever tasted because you just been drinking liquid all day. One downside was the put the juices in places cups with lids that you put a straw through and I feel like presentation wise it would look better if they invested in some glass bottles and offered an incentive for people who return them. Also, there were only 2 employees other than the owner who knew much about the juice cleanse and could answer questions we had which was inconvenient. Overall, I'll definitely give this a shot again. They make substitutions without telling you, which is a big problem for me because I have a food allergy. Everything was so neat and clean. They have an assortment of salads, wraps, bowls, burritos, and smoothies. As I was looking at the menu I saw that some of the proceeds go to Feed the children: building school kitchens and vegetable gardens in developing countries! How cool is that? Decorations are basically just oversized words of healthy foods like Kale and quinoa. There are small metal buckets located on 2 sections which have the plastic utensils and napkins as well as bottles of sriracha. They also use biodegradable paper bowls so it definitely feels as though you're helping the environment as well as your body when eating here. I ordered the Buddha bowl which had a variety of fresh, crunchy vegetables like carrots, partially steamed broccoli,and cilantro. It had a peanut sauce over pho noodles. For an extra charge, you can choose a protein which I opted for the tofu. To be honest, I wasn't all that impressed. The peanut sauce was tasty, and I added a few squirts of sriracha but I felt like it could've used some crushed peanuts. There were some fried wonton skins on top but it was still lacking. I paid about $10 for the bowl, which was not very filling. I feel that you can definitely get a better deal elsewhere. My friend was none too impressed with her bowl as well. We found this hidden gem close to our office and are so excited to have fresh, delicious and healthy options for a quick lunch or even be perfect for a little meetup with friends. A friend recommended Freshii to me and I now know why she did. It is a perfect fit for someone who wants to eat healthy but does not want to shop, chop, cook and clean up. It's also a convenient way to order what you want and get it fast! But what really sold me is the menu that features a great selection of soups, wraps, bowls and burritos that pack a lot of flavor and really satisfy an appetite. My most recent visit proved that Freshii can't be beat - because I ordered and absolutely enjoyed a dish featuring beets. Beets are banned from my diet for the simple reason that I don't like the way they taste. Fortunately the beet slaw topped on my most recent bowl from Freshii was so delicious I ate every bite. And I would go there, as in back to the beets, again. This is a franchise but the sense of community in this particular Freshii is very evident and very genuine. There seems to be a loyal group of customers based on the way they chatted with the staff members. I like a place that takes time to become familiar with your face, know your name and take an interest in you beyond asking if you want a beverage with your meal. The interior is pleasant, well lit and casually comfortable. There are tables outdoors to the side that offer a lovely spot to take a seat and eat when the weather allows. I don't think I would have discovered Freshii on my own since it is a little out of the way from my normal dining destinations and in a retail center I rarely drive by. But now that I know about it I will certainly seek it out to enjoy some of my favorite foods and find out what other new found favorites await. read more
