STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!…read more Wow, just wow. I've been here a few times before and it has never been THIS bad. Today, we went in. The lady behind the counter could hardly understand me. While taking my order, another women came up and they started looking at an iPad about a SkipTheDishes order. I had to wait for them to finish to keep ordering. They where supposed to put guacamole on my 1 salad, and they charged me for it, plus a random 50 cent charge for banana peppers I never ordered. Like what ? Ok fine. I told them about the 50 cent charge and she just replied "yes". I'm like, why am I being charged for banana peppers I didn't order, again she just says "yes". Frustrated I say ok whatever. No point to argue over a few cents. Go outside, I see not only did they not even put in the banana peppers they charged me for; but, the guacamole I paid $3 for was not in the salad either. So now I've paid $3.50 for things I didn't receive . Pretty irritating ! Open my other salad and they forgot to put tomatoes on it. I go back to the store and ask them, hey, you guys charged me for this and forgot to put it on. She replies "yes, guac is extra" like, I know. I've paid for it but didn't get it. They argued with me for about 5 minutes before handing me a tiny container of guacamole. To top it all off, after arguing, paying nearly $30 for 2 salads, I finally get to eat, and there's a fly in my lettuce. Seriously, I don't understand what happened here today. I was charged for several things I didn't receive, then had to argue to get what I paid for, then I found a fly in my lettuce . I used to come here pretty often but that's going to change. I suggest everybody stay far away- go somewhere else. The chopped leaf down town or the one In Port Coquitlam are MUCH better. You actually get what you pay for without being argued with. Pretty disgusted with my experience here today.

Came in and the people at the counter said the Southwest was a favourite so I just gave it shot. Really great flavours. I would actually come back again for lunch when I'm around the area

The Freshii in Suterbrook village makes me feel like I am in gastown or kits however it was…read moreextremely hot and humid inside, reeking like body odour. The staff that was prepping the food order was completely covered in sweat and he kept on touching the green cleaning rag on the cutting board and then prepping someone's food which grossed me out. It look a loooong time to get my order because there was only one guy prepping the food orders - not sure what the other two staff were doing in the back. I don't mind waiting for my food however my order was disgusting. The khao san burrito was way too soggy despite that their burritos are grilled. There was barely any veggies in the burrito itself just some fillers (brown rice). What waste of money.

Obviously, this means the menu carries lots of Veg/an options which is amazing in this quick serve format. They rely on a lot of rice and quinoa, so this will also appeal to those aiming for Gluten Free or Reduced eats. With all this going for it, Freshii stumbles into a very traditional Veg/an trope, that this style of food is bland. No matter what you get, the sauces are afterthoughts and this preparation method doesn't deliver enough of the goods. They need to cook the sauces into the meals or marinate the products previous to order to create depth, delicious delicious flavour depth. The bowls, wraps or basically whatever else also needs more robust salting and unfortunately when I get home I always find myself dousing the food in hot sauce...to be fair I haven't tried the soups. Oh and the rice noodles are tasteless, wallpaper pedestrian. I know that sounds harsh, but maybe someone important will read this and treat the menu to a romp around the flavour dance floor. Don't get me wrong, I'd 100% rather eat here then any burger joint or sub shop. In saying this though, I could easily make any of this food at home, cheaper and in greater quantity.

I wasn't sure what to order as the options all seemed pretty good. I decided on the Mediterranean Salad with chicken and found a seat to dine in. It took a few minutes and someone brought it over to my table, which I actually wasn't expecting as it seemed more of a counter-order only spot. The salad had been already tossed with dressing, which was also not what I expected, although it wasn't bad. I'll remember for next time to ask for it on the side. Anyway, it was a good portion and everything tasted very fresh, except the chicken had a bit of a weird texture. I'd leave it off next time and stick with the veggie version. Due to the proximity to my office, I'll likely be eating there again soon. Recommended if you're in the area.
