It was right around the corner from where we stayed so it was so convenient before catching the ferry. I am pretty basic when it comes to my breakfast (ok ok...I had never been on a ferry for that long and was nervous) so I just ordered a toasted bagel with bacon. I was very happily surprised an order of bacon was four slices and that would be sufficient to cover my protein needs at the time. I also got an iced latte with almond milk -- which was my emotional support drink that morning. (I did fine on the ferry...I am just nervous on all bodies of water).

Both were delicious! I was fully before almost finishing it so it will definitely be enough for a meal. I ordered a latte and it was the perfect breakfast meal to be enjoyed while listening to Paramore, The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. Literally all the music I use to listen to in high school (shout out to the millennials) lol there's card and board games there and artwork to admire throughout the shop. Simplistic but a great environment. I do believe there was only two girls working so the order did take a bit to come out but that's ok, who doesn't like to support local business, amirite?!

This family-run operation is located in the beer garden at Farmstrong Brewing. Their food is what I'd call "elevated food truck," with a rotating, bistro-style menu often featuring the freshest and most in season ingredients. While I've never had a bad bite here, the star of the show is definitely their mac 'n cheese. Their sandwiches, tacos, and Asian-inspired dishes hit home runs as well. The best part is, everything they serve pairs well with any of Farmstrong's delish beers or house-brewed ciders. Most recently, I had their smash burger tacos paired with a La Raza Mexican Lager - oh yeahhhh! They also have many vegetarian options, and if you're not too hungry you can't go wrong with their crispy fries.

We got a double scoop of the huckleberry and chocolate brownie ice creams in a waffle bowl - the portion was MASSIVE. We absolutely loved both flavors, and the huckleberry was the standout. We enjoyed the ice cream and waffle cones but did find the "farm stand" portion to be lacking. Not much produce, they did have lots of canned items. I purchased pickled okra (which tasted great) and later read the label to see what they pickled it with. That is when I saw it had yellow dye as an ingredient. I thought that was odd for a local farm to put in their canned goods. Then I saw on the front of the label that said they were pickled "for" the farm. Something to consider if you factor that into a purchase. Either way, a worth it stop for a sweet treat.
