We'd been unhappy with the builder paint ever since we moved into our house in 2019. This year, one goal was to repaint the interior of the house. We requested quotes from several painters, including Fresh Coat of Round Rock. Erick was by far the most responsive vendor we contacted. While not the least expensive quote we received, he was not far off that mark, and his responsiveness (and breakfast tacos) sealed the deal for us. Scheduling was easy, and he was very clear (and accurate) about what to expect during painting. The crew was polite, respectful of our house, and most importantly, skilled. We were still living and working in the house while they were painting, and their strategy about how to paint the house and communication about each days goals made that far easier than expected. The final work looks fantastic - we had several accent walls, and two rooms with different colors completely from the rest of the house. We just moved into our brand new build and knew we wanted our entire house painted from the get go. We had several quotes (because we are brand new to this process) and Fresh coat was right on track with the others (any maybe even a little cheaper than some). What set him apart was the knowledge and expertise he showed during our quote. He was so kind and took his time educating us on what to look for, specific kinds of paints, etc. Hi quote was also SO user friendly. He had everything laid out so we could clearly see how much each room/area would cost. He quoted us for 4 days for the house and they finished in two which was a nice bonus. We are SO impressed by the quality. No drip spots on any trim, carpets. Everything was appropriately covered prior to painting. They removed all the vents and face plates for the switches instead of painting around them. Long review but worth reading if you're planning to use this company. I contracted FreshCoat Painters of Round Rock to paint the exterior of my home after getting other quotes. I paid for an upgraded paint selection which provided better coverage, more durable long-lasting performance and backed by a lifetime limited warranty. Unfortunately, I didn't get what I paid for. I should have walked away when the owner, Erick Estrada couldn't follow through on simple requests such has providing me with a fully executed copy of the contract after I accepted the quote or my request to see paint colors to select trim color for the shutters and other trim that was previously stained resulting in me calling and sending a follow up email expressing the bad business vibes I was getting and asked to reschedule the project start date. I do not recommend this business for the following reasons: - Although I was painting the house the same color and he was going to do a paint match for that part I still didn't get to choose my trim color. He continued to make excuses why he didn't drop off the color fan and choose to pick a color that was darker than I would have preferred. - Erick did not ensure that the upgraded Duration paint I selected was purchased. By his own admission he claims he ordered the correct paint but the less durable SuperPaint base paint paint was picked up. But he chose to refund the difference of the upgrade ($300+) instead of correcting the job. - The chalking job on the ceiling of my patio was sloppy leaving bulky outlines where they smoothed each seams. - I have a small dog and I scooped a 4ft perimeter at back of house, but his team decided to scoop the full yard and didn't tell me and dumped the pile of poop by my storage shed and it rained heavily after the job was finished which created a large poop patty which smeared all over the grass when I got it up before cutting my lawn a day late. - His team did not clean up well after the job leaving my front porch, back patio, and grass with paint, old chalking, balled up tape, and paper, plus pushed my landscaping rocks into the grass. - I wanted to pay by credit card to receive cash back reward and Erick straight lied to my face that I would be charged a 3% fee, which would eliminate any rewards and asked me to pay but check. After he left I was paying my monthly bills, and when I opened my bank app, I realized that he was rushing me through the walkthrough and getting the check because he immediately took the check to the bank to cash it. If he needed same day cash that's all he had to say. Because contract payment options were check or a valid credit card with no mention of a fee for credit cards and when I called and left a message, confronting him about the lie he didn't even return the call. If I hadn't been under the weather and taking medication my mind would've been more clearer as to what he was doing and I could have been more hands on outside when the workers were there instead of all the windows and doors taped up with me inside unable to see what materials were being used. It was a disappointing experience and I regret not going with my gut instinct when I made requests and had a bad vibe that this wouldn't end well. Lesson learned: If you constantly have to follow up with a company or oversee and double check that they show up with the materials you contracted for then go with another company. read more

They patched two areas in my ceiling that had splits in the drywall from the house settling. You can't even tell those splits were there.
