When I tell you the boxes were not even close all the way bc there was so much food in the box lol I love gizzards but these were fried a little too hard for me I like my gizzards a little more softer but still fried that's the reason for the 4 star but other than that everything was amazing! Dish was fried to perfection and wings were nice and crispy!!!! Okra was such a generous "side" as well. He gave us like 20 sauces for everything and ketchup no napkins but that's ok! We had a car date with our toddlers wipies lol we will def come back here nice little food run will be back !

I was told they charge extra for lemon pepper. I simply asked when they started charging for it because I've never been charged before. The employee responded that they have always charged for it. When I explained that I had never been charged in the past, she told me she had been working there a long time and had never seen me before. At that point, it felt like I was being called a liar. I made it clear that I had no problem paying the charge--I was only asking when the policy changed. The issue wasn't the cost; it was the way I was treated. As a longtime customer, I didn't appreciate being spoken to that way. Because of this experience, I won't be returning, and I'll be sharing my experience with the customers and friends I've referred there over the years. I have proof of some of my past purchases and visits.

After doing my research and seeing food bloggers post online about this place, I decided to try it! We went on a Saturday afternoon at 2 pm - packed! There were no tables available inside and there were people inside and outside waiting for their orders. That's something to be ready for if you come on a Saturday. Our order didn't actually take that long. Or maybe it took a little while and we didn't mind waiting. Either way, it wasn't that bad! Luckily it's located in a shopping area so there's always parking. My main gripe is that they close at 7pm. I'm sure there's a good reason for that but I've wanted to try it multiple times before but they've been closed! I ended up going with the infamous brisket and fried rice. The brisket was super tender - I was able to pull it apart with my fork. I typically shy away from brisket because usually it's tough. But this was delicious - tender and had a nice smoky flavor. Not overwhelming or too salty. The rice had a great flavor too. There were chunks of meat in that as well and the rice had a nice smoky flavor. Not too salty or greasy. It also came with some accoutrements - pickled onions, fresh pickled cucumbers, jalapeños, bbq sauce and bread. The cucumbers and onions stole the show - very fresh and refreshing. We were surprised at the pickled onions - they were soo good! Overall - worth the hype! I'll definitely be back to try ribs, chicken or pulled pork sandwich. I heard everything is good here!!

I'm viet and imo that's the best way to pickle anything. Restaurant clean, service friendly and very fast. You can tell they are a neighborhood favorite, so many people came in after us to pick up and dine in! Only thing to "improve" is it was a little warm in the restaurant. Not sure if the ac was struggling bc of this Texas heat or what but other than that, food was excellent and we definitely will be back. Highly recommend!

A True Taste of the Deep South Right Here in Texas! I was…read morecraving some real Southern comfort food and the brand new Bojangles delivered in the best way possible. This place brings authentic Deep South flavors and hospitality straight to Texas, and every single bite reminded me of home-cooked meals from down South. The signature chicken tenders were crispy on the outside, juicy and tender inside, and seasoned to perfection, easily some of the best I've had anywhere. Paired with their seasoned dirty rice, their fluffy, buttery biscuits and perfectly seasoned french fries, it was a match made in heaven. I also had to try the famous Bo Berry biscuit, and it did not disappoint, warm, sweet, bursting with blueberries and that classic glaze that makes it impossible to stop at just one. Of course, no Southern meal is complete without a tall cup of sweet tea, and theirs was exactly what I hoped for: strong, refreshing, and perfectly sweetened like grandma made it. The portions are generous, the food is fresh and full of flavor, and the whole experience felt like a warm Southern welcome. If you're looking for that genuine Deep South taste without leaving Texas, Streets Chicken is the spot. Highly recommend. ! I'll definitely be back for more! Rod Gray Cypress, TX

My wife and I were sharing and she settled on the Steak Biscuit breakfast sandwich because she'd heard it tastes like the old Grandy's steak biscuit (I don't remember ever eating at Grandy's). We ordered on the app and picked up in the drive thru. The attendant was friendly and told us to pull up to the stop sign to wait for fresh food. The Steak Biscuit and Bo-Tato Rounds came out hot. I liked the biscuit, but the steak was too thin and got lost. My wife said, "It kind of tastes like Grandy's, but Grandy's was better," it has to have been 40 years since she's eaten there. The real star for me was the Bo-Tato Rounds! I would go back just for those. They were hot, flaky and just greasy enough to have that forbidden "it's bad for you" tater bliss!

I'm not much of a fried food fan or chicken like that. So we all decided to split a meal. #1 that comes with 4 strips, a side and a drink Made the drink large, made the side a large order of jalapeno poppers. Plus added a small order of the corn nuggets. A large ice tea (for the BF) and large cup of ice for me (rolling with my own thermal cup to keep my Mt Dew cold! ) ... only $19. 34. It was indeed not 4 tenders.. more like 7-8 good size ones! We shared it all while getting back on the road. The chicken was great! Crispy and not greasy. The corn nuggets things.. goooood! Jalapeno poppers- had a great kick! They came with Ken's ranch dressing which is my favorite! So I am definitely not a hater on this chicken spot! They also have fried fish and I noticed sides like fried pickles, fried okra, masked potatoes, fries and Mac and cheese so you have some options!! Check em out!

And to top it all off, the staff was putting his fingers inside the cup and handing them to us. I couldn't believe that. I took the cup and rinsed it out with soda, before filling it with soda. This was not a pleasant experience. Save your time and money.

Although only one of two drive-thru lanes remained open, patron after Parton pulled up, paid for their eats, and patiently waited (and waited) for their food. Personally, I waited to order (understandable), and waited far longer to pay with the line backup, however I did not wait at all for my food to arrive :) I went with my usual chicken tender combo. I personally love that their tenders are coated most similar to fish. Most importantly, the quality of the tenders are unmatched. My tenders were fresh, my fries were hot, and my ice cream cold. The only thing I would have appreciated is more candy in my Reese's mixer. I asked for double candy, double candy was noted on my receipt, but I did not receive double candy. In fact, I received only one lone Reese's chunk in today's mixer. The rest were the small chocolate slivers from the candy. Perhaps I visited too late in the evening and received the last of the mix-in? Slip ups happen and this location is closest to me personally. I'm sure I'll be back when the custard craving hits and I'm on this side of town.
