Probably the worst experience I've had dining out. I have never felt so small and degraded by a server. Erica is probably the rudest person I have ever met in my life. And just because I asked a question, she accused me of being confrontational so I have to just shut up and not even given a chance to reason like a human being. Erik/Erica was so rude and condescending I felt like my great dinner just went down the toilet. She talked down to me like I'm a piece of garbage and never cared about what I have to say. I will never ever give that place my business and you can bet ALL my friends will know about my experience. my friend who was there with me who dines there probably 3 times a week never felt so disrespected that he left a nice tip and swore he will never go back to that place again. I'm so disrespected by the way Erica talked down to us like we were not welcome there from the beginning.. Bad bad bad bad experience. No; don't waste your time or appetite here. You'll get frustrated. They used to have great food and service... but honestly I don't know what happened. I ordered food to go. I found out they no longer offered my favorite wedding soup. It used to be delicious. Instead they offered some other variation that did no justice to their original wedding soup. I asked to talk to the manager, but was told to call back the three different times I called. I was never able to talk to the manager about my situation. Bad service from the beginning. Asked for bottled water from 1st waiter & was told they do not have any, asked the 2nd waiter and same response, asked the 3rd waiter & they now had bottled water. Ordered the chicken fettuccine which was just okay. Also had the jumbo garlic pasta and I couldn't eat it. It should be called garlic, garlic & more garlic with some noodles. Now open at partial capacity, the restaurant maintains safe procedures to clean and distance customers well. The quality of food is 5 stars worthy and the only complaint would be expensive alcohol drinks that are small and low on alcohol content. Tasted like juice which was a disappointment. read more

Very awesome experience. The food was amazing. I would suggest the Larry's chicken Parmesan. God I think that was the best Iv ever had. Our waiter was so amazing. We got mystery drinks. Every single drink that came out was better then the last. Everything was cooked to perfection and very flavorful. Contrary to the reviewers who were less inspired by Fresco II, we've been there a few times and really enjoy it. There are plenty of restaurants in the AV where you can eat and drink for less money but, when you go to Fresco, you expect - and receive - a little more upscale/trendy/intimate environment. It may not be a place you go daily for lunch or dinner, but it's certainly a nice place to go to make an impression, celebrate or just treat yourself - and who doesn't want to be able to do that every now and then? The service has *always* been top-notch. Maybe they have upgraded their wait staff from the earlier reviews because I have never had a complaint about my service there and, if you read my previous reviews, you will see that I, admittedly, am pretty hard to please. The menu has a large variety of items and their ingredients are *very* fresh. My favorite item so far is the Greek Village salad. Very large, layers of taste and hunks of feta. I will say that I am disappointed in the moussaka. I've ordered it twice, it was prepared differently both times and, although both were good, neither was traditional and I was left missing the real thing. The ambiance is nice - cool and unrushed. Nice decor. There is no way you can walk into the place, look around and think "WTF". It's a nice looking restaurant with an attentive staff and fresh, good food. Yes, you can pay less elsewhere, but I'm not entirely sure how many places you can get the full package at cut-rate pricing. Check it out for yourself. I'm not refuting that the food is tasty and even scrumptious. But this is Palmdale. Not some trendy upscale restaurant at the beach and yet their prices mimic it. I had the lamb chops. Some people don't care for its gamey after taste, but it was very tender. There was live music, a one man band consisting of a computer accompanied with a barefooted guitarist. The staff was (for the most part pleasant and accommodating). The only gamey part of the experience that we left in my mouth was seeing a strapping young, healthy waiter hop out of his suv from a handicap designated parking stall and jog back inside the restaurant and go back to work. Do you really disregard your handicapped patrons so much that you would steal a stall that you're not eligible for? I start to wonder if all your employees embrace that same philosophy. This was a great restaurant! Went there to celebrate our friend Sharon's birthday. There were four ous Marcia and I, and Sharon and boyfriend Hank. Both couples ordered pizza. Marica and I shared a NYC Meatball pizza. Sharon and Hank ordered a prawns and artichoke pizza. The restaurant has a full bar and serves mixed drinks. Our server was Christina and she did an excellent job! Christina provided ice cream sundae for Sharon's birthday. It was delicious! The moment I stepped inside Fresco II, I immediately liked the décor, ambiance and the high ceiling. In Lancaster, I rarely get the chance to eat out and by far, this restaurant was the nicest I've been to. I felt under-dressed in my summer dress and kitten heels but when I looked around, most diners were wearing shorts and flip flops. To start with, we shared Calamari Greek Style. It was not the tastiest Calamari I've had but it was freshly fried and was pretty good when dipped into marinara sauce. For entrée, I had Fresco Seafood Marinara. The dish had generous amount of seafood but I did not taste the delicious seafood flavor in the sauce. Also, the linguini was a little bit overcooked - not so much to request another plate but just enough to make the dish not quite good. I probably shouldn't have ordered pasta at Greek restaurant but whenever I see seafood pasta on menu, I have this unexplainable urge to have it. Next time, I'll order something else. We were a party of 7 and I thought our server did a pretty good job of taking care of us. All our orders came almost at the same time so that was nice. read more

My favorite place to go out in The Antelope Valley is Fresco II. They always have a late night with band's every week. The atmosphere is great and the people are always Fun. Not one of - THE best place to go in the AV for a nice meal. I have been coming to Fresco since it was Cafe Fresco over 15 years ago, and the quality has only improved. The atmosphere fits romantic, intimate, business and casual all depending on your dining intentions. Among the variety of options my favorite have to be the garlic dipping sauce and bread given complimentary, the fire calamari which is cooked perfectly with a light breading, the lamb chops and the prawn / artichoke pizza. This is the best Italian/Mediterranean restaurant around. Basically in the top 1 or 2 or 3 restaurants in the AV. I almost always get the lasagna because it is the tastiest I've ever had. Their pizza is No. 1 as well, as is their ribeye steak. Very luxurious inside, but with Covid19 they have a nice outside area that is shaded from the heat and wind. I have to say I was shocked About my experience yesterday at this place. I've visited this restaurant 3 times before and I've never had an issue till last Night. I'll say the food is good which is why I have returned. However last night I was celebrating my anniversary, just a quiet night, unfortunately, it didn't end so well with my server and the busboy. We attended the restaurant last night and we ordered dinner for two which says on the menu 120.00. Now keep in mind this doesn't include tax and gratuity as well. I wasn't gonna make a big deal about the bill even though it came out 174.00 I was like wow they charged me extra for certain things. The server was Cleary overwhelmed and even messed up my order. When I asked for some jam to go with my appetizer, which was a charcuterie board, she then mentioned that normally doesn't coke with this side portion because it's a half appetizer. And not the main bigger one. I said umm can I still have some jam, please? We also ordered Caesar salads and we got House salads. Finally, towards finishing our meal the bus boy came and asked if everything was OK five times. Finally, at this point, I wanted another drink. The bus boy came for the sixth time and I finally ok I'll Have another drink. He said ok and the server can and said. Oh sorry, it's closing time we aren't serving any more drinks. I was like umm you haven't come to check on us in almost 10 minutes. The busboy was the only come coming to the table. To end up getting overcharged for drinks when the menu Cleary says a bottle of wine or 2 cocktails are part of the dinner for two. So finally at At this point my night was messed up. The drinks are amazing, the food is average, and the service is horrible! Let me tell you how our "magical" evening went with our "magician" of a waiter. I ordered the caramel apple cocktail (delicious) and my bf ordered an Arnold Palmer. I was asked if I would like to choose which kind of pasta I would prefer for my vegetarian dish and if I would like to add vegetables. I requested penne and vegetables; however, after waiting over thirty minutes, it arrived as rigatoni (or something similar) without vegetables and the waiter immediately said, "Oh wait, that's not right" and took it back without even asking me if it was fine. Honestly, I would have ate it anyway because my bf's food had also came and we were both starving! Once my pasta finally arrived again, it was served by another waiter and our previous waiter or should I say, magician, never asked how the food was. He also never delivered my bf's Arnold Palmer, even after we had informed another waiter during his disappearing act while we were eating. We flagged him down to give us the check and when he returns with the credit card, it wasn't even ours! Wow, he sure can perform awful tricks! He also did his amazing disappearing act again and I had to walk over to a random waitress and have her handle our check. I also had to inform her that we were "magically" charged for an Arnold Palmer that NEVER came after two requests. It's really unfortunate that this place has the potential to be considered "upscale" for Palmdale. My wife and I have been coming here for many years now. We've enjoyed great meals, good music, and well-made drinks. Along the way we've had the good fortune to be served by superlative wait staff (Rina, Sam and Alex, to name a few). There have been times in the distant past when this wasn't the case. When we felt it wasn't up to par, we took our case to the owner and found an interested ear - things later improved. There was an incident that occurred and before the night slid off the rails, one server in particular saved the visit. That server has continued to provide stellar service at every visit. We ask for him by name, and so should you. You won't be sorry if you ask for Roger. You'll still enjoy your visit if one of their other staff members serve you, but Roger has made each visit special for us. The bottom line is that this is a pleasant, family-owned restaurant with a tasty menu, a warm atmosphere, and a welcoming staff. Roomy adjoining separate dining room with partition & doors. VERY attentive waitresses floating around our table always. Ordered the appetizers of calamari which wasn't as ample a serving as in this City (SF) but still, a mildly spicy taste and very well-fried. Waitress was nice, but the Riley was nothing but fat (for $60), the mashed potatoes turned into soup because they overload the plates with liquid, the lamb smelled a bit spoiled, and my plate was doused in vinegar, the blue moon tasted awful, and they sat us at a dirty table a family had just left from when the restaurant was practically empty, which I don't understand how everything took so long. At least offer garlic bread or something if you're going to make people wait forever for expensive food. Everything looked great the place smelled amazing, but the taste and quality was not right. I've eaten here 3 times since we moved to the AV two months ago. Parking is easy and it's very pretty. First let me say we LOVE their pasta and soups. On Sunday nights they have a 2 for $30 deal which is cool. I also had their salmon which was OK. I then had a pizza and the style isn't for me and there really wasn't a lot of flavor. Their greek salad though is huge and flavor/colorful. On our first time dining there we sat in the dining room and were waited on by one of the owners, Lenny. He's cool. Service was spotty though...It was my mom's birthday. Someone besides Lenny brought her drink. It was incorrect but she didn't want to speak up. Then another server brought our soups but not her salad. We didn't want them to get cold, but we didn't want to eat before her. Then they were literally mopping up around us while we had our entrees, knowing it was her birthday and we'd probably order dessert. They were kind and comped her dessert. We were still eating our entrees with forks in hand when one server said they'd be happy to bring a box for us to wrap up our leftovers. We were still eating. We also met another owner who is the chef. She was really nice. On my second visit we sat in the bar area and the server was saying that the place had closed when we were about to order after dinner drinks and dessert. She was still going to serve us. Never said anything about last call for the kitchen as we wanted to order something simple like a bowl of pasta and sauce for my son to eat as he was initially asleep in his stroller. He was wide awake and hungry. Look, I've been a server. If your website says you close at 10 then simply let people know when they are seated what time the kitchen closes and for the love of God, don't start cleaning up around them. If you don't like waiting for people to finish enjoying their dinner that costs over $100 for which you'll receive a nice tip, then being a server is not for you. On our third visit, we wanted to sit in the bar but were told they were clearing it out to accommodate the night club. Very awkward. Part of our meal was happening while there were disco lights. So while the pasta and soups are great, I'm not so sure it's the place for us considering we felt during 3 visits that their timing was something we needed to consider. This was one of our go to places for date night, after our dinner tonight we will not be back. We had a reservation for dinner Friday night, upon our arrival we were there for a good 10 mins before we we're greeted. We finally sit and are going over the menu and decide to order the pappardelle pasta special and the rib eye. My husband asks the server to please make sure the steak is medium rare as he is picky with steak and will send it back if it's overcooked. Our food arrives and my husband cuts into his steak that has 2 spots of pink and 85% grey well done meat. He asks the waitress if she can please replace it with one that is medium rare. She sends it back and out walks Lenny, he brings back the steak that they're supposed to be replacing and tells my husband that it is difficult to make a pink steak and doesn't want to waste food. My husband is turning red at this point and tells the man to leave it on the table. We do not touch the steak at all and instead share the pasta. Lenny offers to buy my husband a round of drinks which we decline. They still proceed to charge us for the $38 steak which was crazy dry and inedible. I could not believe this guy. Instead of trying to correct the error just flat out refuses to attempt to cook the steak correctly. We will not be returning. This is extremely unfortunate as I have even had them cater events for us before. To say we are disappointed would be an understatement. Horrible experience. read more

Don't order the San Simone Red Wine it comes in a small bottle with a price of $30+ And they don't tell you that it's a small bottle. They don't even tell you that until we were shocked when they brought it to are table what a joke. We brought it up to the waitress & complained about it & they only took $2.00 off.
