As a first timer, I will say this drink was pretty darn good! The young lady Max was awesome and very friendly. She explained what's in the beverages and how we can customize them to our liking. I got the banana but La Freeze and it was soooo yummy that I went back for another one before leaving Chalmette. She also customized my husband's sugar free drinks and he loved them too. He got the sugar free wedding cake the first time and the sugar free vanilla the second time. I didn't change my drink but I think I'm going to stick with the banana nut flavor for a while. We were in drive thru but I was able to the inside of the store and it was nicely decorated and clean. I will definitely return to this place for iced coffees because the drinks are blended so well and smoothly with flavors that are actually addictive. read more

I'm not a coffee lover but my daughter is and French Press Coffee is one of her favorites. She has tried the Cookies n creme la freeze, Southern pecan la freeze, Caramel la freeze, Praline la freeze and more. My favorite is the southern pecan freeze and her favorite is the Caramel cookie butter la freeze. All are delicious, staff is friendly, place is cute . It's a weekly visit when she comes in town. read more

The drinks here are SO GOOD!!! I got the biscotti Lafreeze and my cousin got the red velvet premium lafreeze. I will say that the drinks are more on the pricy side but they are very delicious! They are blended very well and very smooth. I usually don't like super sweet things but the sweetness level is just right. The service was very quick and we got our drinks almost right away. The decor is super modern and has possibly become one of my favorite places to study! There are many desk around that would be a great place to go to for finals week. A big plus that I love is that they have very spacious windows for natural sunlight to come in! I will say that there are not that many plugs around so you should come with your devices charged! read more

So my sister knows I love great coffee, lattes, and Frappuccino's. She told me about a new place in St. Bernard parish called French Press. When I went to visit, I made it my business to stop. There was a long line which made me feel good you know. The menu made me want to try everything. I know my stomach or budget would all that today...... Upon the recommendation of my sister and niece I had her Varamel LA Freeze and my husband had the Mocha LA Freeze. I had the Grand (Lg) and he had the Moyen (Med) After taking the first sip, i was like ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh It was so smooth and sweet just like I like them. I didn't have to ask for extra caramel either. My husband said the texture was too smooth for him The young woman at the window was making another drink and she sprinkled cookies on top. I asked her what it was and she told me but I forgot the name but it looked really good I would definitely go there again. Usually pretty good. Not too fast, not too slow. The coffee is pretty consistently well made unlike Starbucks. Their sandwiches and stuff are also pretty good. Their beignet bites have come back underdone a few times. I still eat them because I don't mind getting salmonella, but someone else may feel differently. read more

The breakfast croissant is good but the coffee isnt good. We also got an ice tea and they pourd a hot tea over ice as if ice wouldnt melt so i got a water downed tea. Please pre-make the tea and chill it so that we dont get water down tea. read more

This is my favorite coffee place down here in St Bernard! They make my lafreeze sugar-free and decaf which is great for me since I'm a diabetic and I have high blood pressure and I still crave my coffee's. Great staff and super sweet!! read more

I've been here 3 times to try to give this place a chance to get their act together -- and all 3 I've waited a minimum of 15 min for my coffee. With 4 people behind the counter. How? The poor girl working the register asked what I had. It was by the drive thru window for who knows how long. This place could be ran so much more efficiently. I hate leaving subpar reviews but I go to Home Depot a lot, and I usually want a green tea or something before I go in. They never have all their teas in stock. Today I think they only had 3 of the at least 9 or more listed. And the previous time I came there was a young lady who had no idea what she was doing, and that's fine, but she told me what teas were available (of course it was like half of what's listed) and I picked one, and drove off and she had given me a completely different one and I had to drive all the way back. Fine no big deal, I came back. My main point is, how hard is it to keep a box of tea in stock? Like it's tea... stock your business with the box of tea when it gets low. I'm a business owner myself, which is why I don't like to leave nasty reviews, but what is supposed to be a quick easy treat when I'm in the parish is usually disappointing. Why have items on the menu if you're never going to have them. And just to note (I will usually drink any of the green teas or the English breakfast) so I'm not complaining about one tea, today they had vanilla, which is gross, and 2 that had no caffeine... just restock the box of tea! #theteamachinebroke! read more

I was really looking forward to trying the coffee and breakfast sandwiches at this establishment. This was our 1st time ordering. We assumed all orders were taken at the window. I didn't see a speaker, nor hear anyone say "can I take your order." Upon placing our order at the window, the young lady at the window on 4/2/2022 at about 9am took our order while saying "IS THAT ALL" each time I added something. She seemed very annoyed. After I finished my order, she stated the total and said "NEXT TIME COULD YOU PLEASE ORDER AT THE SPEAKER". She was clearly annoyed (tone of voice & body language) I drove off at that point. She was rude & her response was uncalled for. It's not what you say, it's how you say it. Here is a GOOD Example of how she could've addressed me: Good Morning, I'm sorry did you miss placing your order at the speaker? I'll take your order here, but do you mind coming inside to complete the transaction so that we can serve the customers behind you who have already placed their orders? Maybe this young lady was having a bad day, but there is still no excuse to treat customers this way. We ended up going to Walmart and purchasing Starbucks, whipped cream and made our own "fun" coffee drink at home and ate breakfast sandwiches from Racetrac. read more
