There were 2 dental assistants that did the same thing. They just looked at me. The assistant that was with my sister was ok although she seemed to not know what the plan of action was. Was there a plan?? Didn't seem like it. Fast forward...dental work done...no after plan, no anything. WTH? I notice how I am treated as customer service is my background. When checking out the woman was "nice" probably because it was time to pay the bill. I am sorry this place was picked for my sisters care. It was in an older building...and I was not impressed with the set up. The rooms were small and crowded. I kind of got the impression that they were not used to seeing black patients. I finally get the quote told over the phone not even emailed like they said. they tell me my health/dental insurance doesn't cover sedation there and it took me 3 people to get to a guy who could maybe help. Ive asked on 3 different occasions to send my x-rays to another spot where I am covered. they still sent nothing 3 more weeks later!! Any time i call the office i get the automated system which then is a 7-9 people wait and then when finally getting to a person they read off a script and say they will take care of it or they cant do it and transfer me to someone else who then does the same exact thing. So i took it upon myself today 3/13/2026 to go in person and have this taken care of and what do you know, they're closed on a day that says they operate from 9a-4p. But you cant call the actual office and get ahold of them to know this. This place is just ran terribly and should be a last resort option for anyone needing dental work done.

She never pressures you into any treatment and listens to your concerns. I had several cosmetic issues I wanted corrected and a number of dentists throughout the years rolled their eyes at me like I was being so superficial. After getting my braces off over 10 years ago, I had number of yellow stains on my teeth that were very bothersome to me. Two previous dentists told me there was nothing I could do and I should have flossed better as a young teenager. The damage was done and I was stuck with these stains. Dr. Hayden was the first dentist who was willing to help, and not only that but she explained how simple it was to correct the problem (honestly, it took her 30 minutes). I've also had a problem with Novocaine wearing off on my upper row of teeth. Other dentists acted like I was faking the pain I was feeling. Dr. Hayden explained that it's not uncommon for some patients to metabolize the Novocaine faster than others. Whenever I'm in a procedure with her, she always checks on my comfort level and administers more Novocaine before the pain sets in. I liked her so much that I brought my four year old in to see her and he actually likes the dentist! Can you believe it? Also, when you refer a new patient, you get a set of professional grade teeth bleach for free! They are awesome! All of her bleaching procedures are done at cost and are shockingly inexpensive. Thanks to Dr. Hayden, I'm no longer afraid of the dentist and I'll be a patient with her until she retires!
