I went to a different dentist in Oxnard 4 times so disappointing then I went to Fremont share family dentistry he did more in one visit the all four at the other dentist everyone that works there is so nice everything was taken care of by medical. I came here August 2024 but only due to my insurance at this time, I had hmo and he was the only dentist that had good reviews who excepted my insurance. I had paid close to 760 for deep cleaning and 4 fillings. When I ask the doctor about my recession gums he said they looked normal. From August- October 2024 I decided to take it upon myself and schedule a consultation with other dentist, all three dentist I went to told me that my gum line needed bonding or I needed grafting to prevent for future dental problems. My fillings this dentist did where horrible and needed to be fixed. This month my new insurance came in and I now have ppo, I was able to go to Dr. Purdi and I love the job he has done and can tell the difference he had made with my teeth. I hate to leave bad reviews but in my experience he did more harm to my teeth then good and this is coming from 3 known dentist in Ventura county. read more

I am writing this review on behalf of my mom who went to Dr Assad in major pain. She didn't know what to expect, but came out very happy with the results. She had to have a root canal redone. She wanted her tooth pulled out but the doctor wanted to save her tooth. The end result was a beautiful porcelain tooth. The office is very clean, simple inside and out, and there are staff who care. According to my mom the prices are reasonable compared to other locations. She recently moved to Oxnard and has piece of mind knowing that she has Dr Assad on her team. I was so impressed with how implant looked, I'm planning on going in for a check-up. read more

I had not been to the dentist in awhile and my experience was very unpleasant! the assistant is very nice and the best thing about the office.... this place is ran down, unorganized, an very in-personable. for a dentist in 2012 I foresee them going out of Business in a few years. I went a total of 3x and each time my appointment was at least 40min later then the time scheduled, once i even had to reschedule because they were so behind! he didn't ever introduce himself, say hello, or even thank me for waiting. Each time I figured it would get better... I work in customer service so I never want to be the customer that is difficult but this place is so ran down when your laying in the chair waiting for 40min you can't help but notice the dirty floors and broken tiles in the ceiling! the doctors records have no details so when I was talking about past(2weeks ago)conversations and promises he had no remembrance of it at all..and is very quick to argue with you and express how much of a favor his services are. don't go here! if you have good insurance pick somewhere that will at least welcome you and give you a cup of water! I have to first start off with the great staff both Claudia and Ruby have the best personalities a doctors office would want and needs, they are always smiling and listen intently to any questions and work around my time and schedule. I can imagine why the work environment is so pleasant for the staff Dr. Asaad, is a kind, gentle and very respectful Doctor to his patients staff and anyone who walks through his dentist office doors. I happened to be waiting shortly and a solicitor walked in and Dr. Asaad, greeted him and gave him his time and attention, this impressed me and the insurance man as well... Dr. Assad, has never been in any other mood than pleasant, calm and genuinely concern you leave his dentist chair happy and satisfied. I suffer from severe anxiety, so anxiety for any doctor visit is a treacherous chore. This is not the case when I visit Dr. Assad and staff. He has a gentle hand a calming voice reassuring my own anxiety it is unbelievable and relieving. My fear of a dentist visit is gone since I found him through a referral, all my concerns and dental care I only trust with Dr. Asaad, my smile looks great my teeth are healthy and my mind at ease! He really likes to see his patients happy and satisfied with any work he does from cleaning to cosmetic dentistry, he is never pushy or trying to push other procedures you don't need or want!
