The strawberry cheesecake was so soft yet packed full of flavor. It was served with whipped cream and was topped with fresh strawberries and jelly. In terms of presentation, the piece of cake was well placed and was of good size for $6.50. The base of the cake was also not too thick either making it perfect for cutting using a desert fork. They also provided appropriate cutlery given the cake was to be shared between two people. This was without having to ask and was rather thoughtful. Staff were friendly and service was pleasing. Wait times weren't too long either even though there were quite a few people there. Their hot chocolate is good. It doesn't taste too watery like other coffee shops I have been too. Tucked away in the corner of the Woodcroft Plaza, this coffee shop is a gem that you definitely wouldn't want to miss.

The cafe channels a hipster vibe with mismatched furniture and an eclectic use of items as display cases, but the owners have really maximised the space here whilst allowing the patrons to have enough breathing room. Staff are friendly in store and always up for a chat and happy to give you their recommendations on food or tea blend options. The Menu has a good range of breakfast and light lunch options and vegetarians will find themselves relatively well looked after. I'm a big fan of their pancakes (which are really pikelets) as they are very generous on the portion sizes as well as topping options. The coffee here is a wee bit bitter for my own liking but their lattes are crazy creamy. The Litttle Leaf also mixes their own tea blends you can buy in store, whilst I'm not a tea drinker myself, friends have assured me it is top notch. The Leaf 'n' Bean also puts on regular events with live music, exhibitions and dessert nights on their cards. The atmosphere of this cafe is comfortable with a range of seating options from couches to large share tables and cushioned seats in the corner. They also have a lovely courtyard for sitting in during the day. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive and seem to really love where they work. I didn't manage to try their breakfast or simple lunch options of soup, sandwiches and quiche etc on the menu but will definitely be back.

I also raised my eyebrows at the three tiny hash browns which were obviously the kind you can buy from any supermarket frozen foods section. I was hoping for some fresh, hand made hash browns. I would come back here again but only if money wasn't an issue. I haven't been here for a while because I always find the prices don't matched what I get served. The food seems to have improved since last time I was here but the prices are still a little too high.

I had the Hashbrown Stack and was really impressed with the taste (although the bacon could have been crispier). Their hollandaise sauce was one of the best I've ever had. I also had a chocolate milkshake which was fantastic. My husband had the beef burger and was less impressed, there was no caramelisation on the patty and the bacon wasn't crispy. My daughter's open melt looked quite nice and the accompanying chips were good. A look at their Facebook page tells us that they make most of their baked goods in-house (the sausage rolls looked particularly tasty). I look forward to trying more of their menu.
