This place is a hidden gem in the local area! I have NEVER seen ice cream done this way! Basically, you tell them what type of cream you want, replete with added fixings, and then they pour liquid cream onto a super-chilled slab and mix it all together. Once it starts to freeze, they literally scrape it off the slab into cool little ice cream "rolls" and put them into a bowl for you. INCREDIBLE! Friendly staff, plenty of dining space inside and out, and fantastic flavor, the Freezing Moo is a "MUST VISIT" for the entire family! read more

The service was amazing. The vegan ice cream wasn't in the best of shapes and they warned me before I ordered. Taste was really good but the ice cream was sticky. So they have me some extra toppings for my troubles. Unfortunately, this is the second time that I have visited this place and there has been an issue with the vegan ice cream. I'm going to give it one more try because it was actually good. They do have plenty of flavored to choose from and that's a GREAT thing. read more

I decided to check this place out since I haven't had rolled ice cream in a while. Daughter had the s'mores dairy free and son had the cookie monster. I have to say I enjoyed the dairy free ice cream better. They did a really good job and the staff is pretty nice. It was clean and I did like the idea of the photos and post notes on the wall but it didn't look like they had upkeep on it. So all in all it was pretty good! read more

A perfect day for frozen ice cream. Came on Saturday's afternoon and it was busy. There's a weird smell to the place but I'm guessing it could be coming from the dairy smell. Service was okay. Staff are young and working hard to get things going. I will come back to try more flavors. read more

Freezing Moo - #17 Wildcats Ice Cream - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Wichita, Kansas

Came in after soccer on a Saturday afternoon. Wait time and service were quick and my daughter enjoyed her ice cream. Three star review is because my daughter has a gift card that has never been used that she finally had with her on our trip to Wichita. She was told when trying to use it that the checkout system changed and it's basically unusable now. The card explicitly states that value doesn't expire, but it can't be used and there is no way to access the funds? Not cool. read more

Good service, great ice cream, and clean well run place! The ice cream always is amazing!!

Took our kids here for an ice cream date. This is one of their favorite haunts for ice cream. They love getting to pick out their toppings and then watch them make the ice cream and roll it ip to put in their cups. read more

Upon arrival we were very excited to have rolled ice cream. Come to find that they had no dairy free options available because they ran out. This was immensely disappointing since the person most excited couldn't eat anything. The service was slow and irritable. The restrooms had no toilet paper and upon asking I was handed the toilet paper to do it myself. I'm extremely dissatisfied with this location and knowing the other options in Wichita will be taking my business somewhere else. read more

It is really cool to see rolled ice cream being made if you never have. I recommend this place for your first rolled ice cream if you are in the area. They had a lot of toppings to choose too and a lot of types of sundaes. So much fun. read more

Freezing Moo - #1. Strawbella Ice Cream - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - Wichita, Kansas

This style of flavored cream has been out awhile and is making its way to US cities. There are a few in the KY area but I haven't had a chance to try them. While in the Witchita area to visit with family we stopped in to actually try rolled ice cream. The biggest wow is the set up and options. Flavor...not so much. My item was a green tea with lychee topped with banana, mangoes and chocolate syrup. Refreshing...yes. Flavorful...NOPE! The most flavor I got was in the toppings. You'll get more flavor from a Starbucks green tea latte if you're seeking the taste. There was lychee in there?! I should've topped it with lychee. Yet in all honesty if I do, it'll wait till I'm back in Hawaii for the fresh intense flavor that one would enjoy of lychee. Hubby had the Wildcat and he too said the flavor was underwhelming. I believe this is a chain. We'll have to give another location a try to see if it's the standard. The selifies and fundraising deals are cool. Watching them make it is cool and them writing your name out adds to the fun. There's promise... read more

Always a long wait. the bathroom is awful, the door won't open because the changing table is broken which also blocks the sink. the water barely works, the toilet seems unsteady, and you can't throw anything away near the door. Its also filthy. the whole place is. tables, widows, bathrooms, floors. it seems busy. why can't they afford to keep the place up? read more

First time to this location! Very easy to get a parking spot, they have nice seating area outside with fun picture taking board, was greeted as soon as I walked in, was explained the menu options, very cool to watch the ice cream be made and the name spelled! Very satisfied with the customer service here! Only reason I knocked one star off was because my mango fruit tasted bad like if it had expired. I didn't complain since it was a topping, I just scrapped it off and ate the rest which was delicious! Also they were out of waffle rolls which I was looking forward to but it's ok. I ordered #17 (berries & banana) and my son ordered the cookie dough. I liked mine best! $: I think it was about $6 per ice cream. (Without waffle cone) Time spent: speedy service! I went around 7:30pm and it was not very busy. Took about 4 minutes to get out ice cream or less. read more

What a great place to go for the whole family!!! I don't typically eat dairy so I convinced all my friends to swing by here on Sunday early evening to check it out in hopes they accommodated to all diet restrictions. What I love about the place is, at no extra cost you can request your ice cream to be hand made vegan and dairy free. They have everything needed to roll up your ice cream for a family fun visit. There a lot of work they put into creating your rolled up masterpiece and it is a lot of fun to watch. They add some flavor to the ice cream and then their not shy at all with the toppings. The staff here is friendly and if you like you can even document ho much fun you had by taking a photo, printing it on their in store printer, and post it on their large white bulletins. This place is great! You gotta stop by and try everything they have to offer, it surly won't disappoint! read more

The rolled ice cream here is absolutely delicious!! I got the strabella ice cream, which contains strawberries, Nutella and condensed milk and it was delicious!! They roll out the ice cream in front of you then give you the choice of three different toppings to add like fruit, candy, nuts etc. which added an element of creativity and fun. The walls are lined with pictures of customers giving it a local, family friendly feel. They also offer patio seating which we enjoyed because the day was nice out. If you are ever in the mood for something sweet this is a great spot to try! read more

Maybe it's because I had high hopes for the place or went on a day where they were a bit too busy but I wasn't as impressed with it as I had intended to be. The ice cream almost tasted as though they didn't give it enough time to freeze properly. On a positive note, the fruit toppings were VERY fresh and all around fucking delicious. read more

I wanted to take my girls somewhere different for ice cream. We all loved it. I think the price is right on for using fresh ingredients. My dad however had sticker shock. It's $6.29 for the ice cream with 3 toppings. It's not under $5 like another review said. We all had something different. They all had great flavors. We couldn't pick out our favorite. My dad had a fruit flavored one. They use fresh fruits not sugary syrups. I forgot to get pictures of the actual ice cream. Oops! My girls said it's their favorite ice cream (gelato doesn't count because it's Italian. Lol). read more

A delicious treat after a day on the road. Great place for kids. They will love watching the ice cream being rolled in front of them.

One size available. Quite a expensive; for 2, it was close to $12. Before they start creating the ice cream, they call out the person's name. The atmosphere was cozy. I liked how the they have the cork board for people to print and post their picture. read more

This place has the worst customer service. We walked in at about 8:30P they close at 9. I love green tea matcha ice cream and this place has really good green tea matcha ice cream. The flavor is there but it's not overpowering or too much. The fruit seems to be very fresh and ripe as well. Their customer service is amazing when it's slow but can be a little off putting when busy which is reasonable. This the ultimate wow experience in frozen desserts! You start with coconut milk or condensed and choose flavors that will be blended into the base, this is done on a large frozen block and literally manually churned and frozen right before your eyes, then I choose up to 3 more toppings. It's fun and really tasty. Nice price at under 5 $ for a handcrafted customized Delight . 5 Yums up! read more
