He took the time to thoroughly explain my different tire options and helped me get exactly what I needed. He was friendly, apologized for the wait, and they got my car finished faster than I expected. I'm genuinely impressed. These days, I don't mind paying for convenience AND great customer service, and they delivered both. I'll definitely be coming back!

THIS BAD COMPANY GAVE ME BAD TIRES AND REFUSED TO HONER THEIR WARRANTY!…read more In the beginning of the year I got a nail in my rear tire and because the tires were kinda old I decided to replace both my rear tires. I bought the extra warranty so if I ran over a nail or something they would replace the tires. 6 months and 5000 miles later my rear passenger tire kept on going flat so I brought it in thinking they would just replace it because it's still under warranty. The tire guy told me my tires were bald. I LITERALLY JUST GOT THESE TIRES!!!! First the guy tried to suggest that I was drag racing them which was very insulting. I take good care of my car and I'd never do that. Then he said it was a mechanical problem but didn't tell me exactly what kind of mechanical issue so I can get it looked at. Then he suggested that the manufacturer might have had a bad batch but that's not their problem, I'd have to take it up with the manufacturer. I don't know what planet he's coming from but where I come from if a buy a defective product you take it back to the store that sold it to you and stock it on their shelves not the manufacturer. Even though the tires were under warranty and I had paid extra money for an additional warranty they refused to replace them. The best they could do was give me a discount on new tires. DONT GO HERE!!!!! THEY SELL DEFECTIVE TIRES AND WILL SCAM YOU ON THE WARRANTIES!!!!!

May 2026: Service: Incredible service again today and luckily my tire beat the nail and was able to be repaired. I was ready to buy a new set today and once again America's Tire has pulled through as a great local business we should all continue to support. I will not be going to Costco to get new tires and I will be coming here. Quality: The Tesla is an evil attractor of nails and its higher 42 psi requirement makes it a bigger balloon to be popped. The repair patch was great and America's Tire saved me as my tread is still great. Value: My tire was repaired and they treated me great here. After going to Firestone and finding out that one of my tires had a slow leak that they said…read morecouldn't be repaired, I decided to stop by America's Tires since they carry brands that Firestone doesn't and that I prefer. Firestone recommended a couple of tires I had already researched and didn't meet my preference for a replacement. I told America that one of my rear tires had a slow leak and had them check to see if they could repair it or I needed to buy a replacement. I made an online appointment but decided to go early just in case I could get it done earlier. The staff was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. After waiting in line for about 10 minutes, one of their salespeople took my information and had the mechanic begin checking the tire condition. After about 45 minutes, the car was done and they told me the tire was fixed. I was rather surprised since Firestone said the puncture was too close to the shoulder of the tire where it couldn't be patched. Hmmm. Anyway, I did ask about replacement tires since mine are about 7 years older and even if there is a lot of tread left, the rubber begins degrading starting around 6 years and becomes dangerous if you wait until they are 10 years old. When I asked about some Falkens and Yokohama's I had studied, he shared some of the differences in the compound used in manufacturing and which would be a better choice if I was driving highways to destinations like Las Vegas or San Diego. I'll probably buy a new set in about a year unless something happens before then. They didn't charge anything so I appreciate their honesty and consideration. I will be back when I decide to invest in a full set of new tires.

I've gone off and on for a couple of years now and they are not cheap at all. Part of my experience…read moreis likely because I'm a woman, so that's understandable in this society, but lately things have slid downhill in my opinion. Back in August 2026, I ordered tires online on a Monday night for the upcoming Thursday morning, but when Thursday arrived they didn't have the tires available. Not sure why there's an online platform, but that's on me for not communicating ahead of time. I had called that Thursday morning and an agent let me know they could get the tires in that afternoon. I called that afternoon and the agent I spoke with that time had no idea what I was talking about. Unfortunately, I didn't get the tires I desperately needed that day from them, had to go across the way. No one ever followed up with me about the tires either. Fast forward to this morning in Oct 2026. I called and spoke to an agent who wasn't reassuring about my issue, but sure, ok that's fine. I eventually get there, walked in, the agents looked at me, said nothing. Maybe I should not expect any type of greeting, but guess they were too busy to take me on (I went in around 10:45a, but still maybe that's too late to get a job started). I got the feel I wasn't welcomed there, so I stood there for about 30-60 secs before I decided to leave. No one ever acknowledged me, but sometimes I have an invisible cloak on, so I accept that. I take full responsibility for trying to use them as a convenience. They probably just want to stick to tires and here I come with a host of issues on an old car. Nonetheless, I don't think I'll be able to return. I'll just have to figure it out elsewhere. I'm sure it's just me, but I wanted to share, thanks!

I called around a a few places to ask how busy they were. Discount Tire & SC was very transparent and said that they could take my car in the morning and have it be looked at maybe not RIGHT away but definitely in the morning at least. The manager was extremely nice as well and helped me through the whole thing. Nobody tried to talk me into buying XYZ for my car etc. a very calm and pleasant experience. I was ready to wait for a few hours but they ended up taking less than an hour to look at my car and patch the tire! I was very happy and will try to get my oil changed here etc! They have cute coffee shops and a few stores and restaurants walking distance in the area so I was able to wait at a coffee shop and get some work done while my car was there. However, they do have like a main lobby where you could wait.

Another Trustworthy Auto Repair Shop…read more I recently started researching some of the best auto repair shops in the South Bay Los Angeles area -- specifically Torrance, Carson, Wilmington, San Pedro, and anywhere within a reasonable distance of Harbor City. Torrance Auto Repair came up in a Reddit discussion recommending some of the better shops in the area, so I decided to give them a try. I brought my car in for an alignment and also asked Jimmy to give me an overall evaluation of the vehicle. From the beginning, he was transparent, helpful, and respectful. After completing the alignment, Jimmy explained what other work my car may need and gave me his recommendations. What I really appreciated was that there was no pressure to spend money right away. He simply let me know what to keep an eye on, encouraged me to stay in touch, and recommended following up when needed. That kind of honesty goes a long way with me. I'm always looking for trustworthy people when it comes to maintaining my car, and Jimmy gave me the confidence that I was getting straightforward advice rather than being pressured into unnecessary repairs. I'll still continue going to Pacific Auto for my tire needs, but I'm happy to have another reliable auto shop for other vehicle services. I'd rather support both businesses based on the specific needs of my car. Transparent service, no pressure, and good communication -- exactly what I want from an auto repair shop.
