Maria was knowledgeable and courteous. The mechanic found the rear brakes and rotors needed repair. They also fixed a broken wheel stud ( from americas tire while installing new tires.) Dropped off set of trailer tires for mount, called me 2 hours later and told me they cant do the mounting having trouble setting the bead, "They didnt have time, they close at 1 and would take to long to do them, Took the tires to EDDIES TIRE CITY in Wilmington, they did them in 30 minutes and charged me 80 bucks compared to the 130 17FIVE wanted to change. I been going to this place since 2011 even before it used to be big o tires.. even if I move to Rancho Cucamonga I still go to this place because they do a good job.. however not till today everything changed when the big guy ben ripped me off instead of helping me out.. he even at first give me a quote much expensive to the actual dealership I go to.. even made me wait an hour asking if I want to get my car done and that's simply the reason why I took a day off .. the guys that works around there especially Jason and Sal are amazing but I regret that with this new ownership and that guy Ben.. was completely disappointing.. I even get quote to my spouse mechanic closer to my place in Rancho Cucamonga for $100 less but since I still trust their work I still went with them anyways.. totally losing their loyal customer for this just because of this.. I just want to start off by saying THANK YOU to Tony and the rest of the guys there ! I had my car towed to them on a Thursday after having major issues with it and they were able to complete all repairs by Friday afternoon ! Their prices can't be beat either ! I initially went directly to the dealership (Audi) where they quoted me 2,500 for a starter ! At 17Five they were able to get the repair done for less than half of that price! DONT COME HERE PLEASE I BEG YOU Used to be called Big O Tires and their reviews are tragic. I wish I would've read the Yelp reviews but I'm not sure if it's under new ownership. Sweet deal on new tires for $80. I would recommend them for tires but not for mechanical work. I went in two days ago to get new tires and they suggested a bunch of things to get fixed. I had just lost my job that week so I told him I can't afford much. He recommended me to use Snap which is a website that can give you credit towards their shop. You can pay monthly & 3 months no interest. I qualified and the manger suggested to me the most important thing to get done because it can mess up my car, being the radiator and the coolant, so I took his recommendation. They showed me exactly what was wrong with it and shows me proof and explained to me what I was looking at. That showed to me that they had great customer service. They seemed trustworthy and I even texted my dad right away excited that I might have found a good mechanic shop. I expressed my excitement to the employees and they said "yes leave a Yelp review we could use the help" that should've been a red flag because why are their reviews not good. The totally came out to $688. I put a down payment of $300. The following day my car wasn't accelerating anything pass 25 mph. I didn't think much of it because I know sometimes cars have to get used to the new work that is done to them. The next day after that I had a very important interview to go to and yet again my car didn't accelerate anything pass 25 mph & would struggle to go up Little hills on the street. I called and they said to bring it back today or tomorrow so they can look at it then i hung up. My car completely turned off after the call and would no longer accelerate. I missed my interview, an interview for my future. I called back and said "hey I just called about my car" and I was immediately put on hold for three minutes so I hung up and called again. They sounded annoyed that I called back. They didn't offer to pay my tow truck because it's their fault my car is in the middle of the street. Now I have to pay an additional $100 for a tow truck and have no money or job to really afford that. Very disappointed and now I have to take it back there in hopes the problem gets solved and that I didn't get scammed. Will update. But for sure will never bring my car back ever again. I hate how no mechanic is trust worthy and tend to be greedy. Update: my father recommended me not to go back. He called his friend who is a mechanic who said this job should've been $277 not $368. So I did get scammed. It's funny the manager wrote it all down and even made it seem like I was getting a deal. I'll take the L pay the money and take my car elsewhere. I regret doing things on my own. Don't come here. It gets worse:!!!!!! I came to my dad friends shop and they said they purposely put and tightened some bolts to my catalyst. When I went to 17Five they showed me how it didn't have screws and how it was loose but that it's okay and that they will help me out in the future with it. So clearly they put bolts in so I can come back and they can get easy money from me. They tightened them so hard Kings Auto Body is having a hard time taking them off. I was shopping around suspension work for my Mercedes Sprinter Van last December and came across Greg and 17five. A friend said he went there to lower his car and install some coilovers, apparently they've got great pricing on parts and on service. Since the sprinter is different than a lowered car I wasn't sure what to expect. They were able to order custom valved Fox Springs that were made for my model sprinter. In addition Greg had me wait an extra day for his suspension specialist to work on my car. The van drives fantastic now and there's less sway. A much needed remedy. Since he also does tires, I had him install some BFG All Terrains to the Van also. He provided me with good recommended size so I wouldn't rub at full lock but still get that aggressive look that I wanted. I've gone back from my other cars because his pricing is beating the competitors. He's not the closest shop to me, but he's definitely worth the drive. read more

Horrible customer service from Maria. Unable to solve my concern. Wheel alignment was done on 4/5/2024, but was not done correctly. I came back when I was informed that plates on machine were fixed and still down. I understand there are delays, but a courtesy call should have been made since I did have appointment for 4/11/2024. I'm back today to get alignment fixed and is greeted with Maria's attitude after I asked for compensation. Basically was told I'm here already, who cares about the other times you came and waisted your time. Many steps in, but on the same level as Maria. I'm a first time customer and will never return. I understand things happen, but will not tolerate their attitude/ bad customer service. Hopefully owner Greg is able to solve this issue. read more

I went for alignment they charged me normal price then said I needed shims. I paid extra for them not knowing they didn't put them on. My receipt said I needed brake bushings so I fixed them myself, I went back saying my car was still pulling. They said I was supposed to come back and get shims put on, But no one told me that. Anyway they tried to fix the next day after ordering the shims. Long story short after 5 hours they said it was something wrong with my suspension. Not, had gotten suspension done before I went to get alignment. But I got my refund. read more

I came to what use to be Big O tires (2020), at the time I was sold two Goodyear tires for $545, later realized the invoice wasn't mine but someone else's and a complete different name . What was I really charged at the time ?? . Two years later I came back to what I thought was great service and reasonable prices . It' is now 17five tires . I had a tow truck ($245) take my car with a flat to what I remember being a good tire shop . Gilbert the manager comes off very knowledgeable and friendly. He tells me to leave the car and he would order two Toyo tires for me with installation $420 out the door . I agree as that seems fair . . He tells me to come back in an hour because his employee is out to lunch. My boyfriend and I come back . After 49 mins , Gilbert let's us know the car is ready . My boyfriend noticed the tires on my car are NOT Toyo's as I had previously told him I had purchased . BTW, They make you pay prior to servicing or installing the tires ; but instead Walmart brand "Ironman," I go back to complain and Gilbert tells me he never said that !!! Are you kidding ! I don't know about tire brands i wouldn't have made that up . He Tells me he can exchange them for additional $30-$40 per tire . At this point I agree because I'm fed up . Call the next day he says "sorry Toyos are not made in the size you need, but I can get you Kumho tires. I tell him I wouldn't of paid $245 to tow to your tire shop for $120 dollar Walmart tires and pay $160 each . He states he will apply a refund for $100 and I am yet to see it (I have called 3 times and he hangs up on me ). I am reporting this Con-artist to the Better Business Bureau . Review your invoice charges and check what they are doing or installing . I'll never come here again . They are rip offs and I trusted this manager. I researched Previous name and they have multiple reports against them in BBB. Is that why the owner changed the name claiming "new management?" I was completely ripped off .
