They were organized, professional, and incredibly efficient. They completed everything in about an hour, which exceeded all of my expectations. I was so impressed that I personally walked over to Assistant Manager Joshua and tire technician Lex to thank them for their outstanding work. They truly deserve recognition for their professionalism, teamwork, and customer service. I've also been to the America's Tire location in Torrance on Hawthorne Boulevard, and honestly, the difference is night and day. The Carson team puts the Torrance location to shame when it comes to efficiency, customer service, and wait times. I originally went online because I was looking for a reputable tire shop that offered solid tire insurance and stood behind their work. Instead of brushing me off, Adrian took the time to walk me through alternatives and personally recommended the Goodyear brand -- a name I know and trust. He explained everything clearly and honestly, and then said something that really stuck with me: if I could put in a little more money, he'd meet me in the middle. And he absolutely kept that promise. Because of the delay, they worked with me on the pricing, came down to make it reasonable, and helped me land a great deal on a quality set of Goodyear tires without having to pay some outrageous price. DO NOT take your car here. I feel like I was taken advantage of because I am a female. I came in there today 4/11/26 to get a tire patched. I left it there, got a call and they told me I had two nails in my tire and they were both going opposite directions and close together so they were not able to patch it and they suggest I get a new tire. I declined because it didn't sound right and ended up taking it to my personal mechanic in LA. My mechanic took my tire apart and literally showed me that it was one nail! America's Tire lied! literally tried to get me to spend money I didn't have to spend. This is a very unprofessional and untrustworthy location & they should be out of business! read more

I bought my tires a few months ago, and I was happy with the service overall. Recently, I accepted an offer I got via email for a free tire rotation. I was in a hurry so after they told me the service was done, I left without checking. 2 days later, I saw one of my hubcaps roll off my tire. I pulled over and picked it up and saw that 2 of the tabs that hold it in place where broken. I sent a review about the service and received a call back immediately. I was told they would help me find one that matched, not taking responsibility of course, but at least they offered some help. Unfortunately I never heard back from the rep. American Tire is one of my go to places. I have been going to them for tires and various service since Sears and Pep Boys in Carson closed and so far l haven't been disappointed. Not only have l purchased tires and had service there, for my Toyota Camry until l gave it to my granddaughter who was delighted to receive it one l purchased my Corolla several years ago and now l take that vehicle there. Besides purchasing tires and other services l love that l can drive my care through on a monthly basis and they check and replace the air in my tire if needed. I always make sure l check in prior to a roadtrip, and once to my surprise they discovered l had a nail in my tire and repaired it prior to my taking a lengthy roadtrip. I submitted a survey on April 19, 2026 regarding my service. My message: Case: 01117473 Subject: Appointment number 5069814739 Description: I made a 12pm appointment and arrived around 11:30. I walked in and stood inside the store and no one else was in line standing up except for those being assisted by those at the counters. Other customers started walking in. One of the employees walked and walked straight to one female to ask what she was here for service. I had to say out loud I was here before her. The employee was nervous and even when I spelled my name he was spelling it all wrong. I did not receive an invoice, that's why I only had my appointment number to provide on the survey. I had an appointment today and once I was seen by a team member - I was out in less than 45 min. My issue - and it may seem frivolous - is with the theft of my Honda Accord RED valve caps. There were only 2 and I noticed it because they replaced them with 2 chrome (plain) valve caps. I probably could have accepted if all 4 valve caps were the plan black ones - but they intentionally replaced my Honda valve caps for some generic ones. I love American tire except for Carson, American tire Carson, is in a league of its own Maybe everyone there thinks they're too cool to smile and greet someone Definitely not about Customer Service. Their lack of respect is right on the border of disrespect. This is not fit in with the American tire culture that I'm used to. I've used them all over the country. They have different names in different states but they honor your contract and you get a flat tire they replace it, etc. etc. I walked into this place. I already knew I was planning on coming in to replace 3 tires as the tread was getting a bit low. I ended up getting a flat tire late at night, 2 days before I was planning on coming in..so I guess my car luck knew! I showed up without an appointment 7:45a on a Friday to hopefully be one of the first people in. I looked up which tires I wanted to match to the recently changed one and even made sure it was in stock, and the rep just had to make sure it was truly the case. The rep was super nice and helpful and explained the process very well. I mentioned I needed my TPMS' replaced too and we were able to handle quickly. The service itself was fine but definitely can't give a higher rating due to my experience. Left my car to get my tire repaired. I sat in the lobby and saw two workers talking in the parking lot. One of the workers put both his hands down his pants and started scratching. He was digging in there deep under his boxers and unfortunately right after he was done I saw he was the one who went directly to my car to move it in. I walked across the street to target to get disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer for my steering wheel and anything else he touched. This is not OK employee behavior for so many reasons. If you have to buy Tires Take your money somewhere else, I don't recommend this place at all save your self a headache. On March 28 I ordered 2 tires they told me that they will they would be there on Monday, they made me an appointment for Monday at 5:15P.M, when I got there at about 5:00 they told me that the Tires were there but when they went to look for them they couldn't find them. They were never ordered. I had to go back on Tuesday when I got there they offered me an alignment I told them to check if it was needed and they said yes. They did the alignment but then they said that they can only do the front alignment because they didn't have the tools needed to do the back. I ask if they would be able to do the rear alignment ones they get the parts needed and they said yes. When I went to pick up the car, the manager was there when he asked me how, I was going to pay I asked him that, ones they get the parts needed for the rear alignment, I was going to be able to take the Car back for them to do the alignment on the rear and his answer was that what I was paying was very cheap compared to what they charge at the Dealer. One of the other employees said that he would honor what they told in the beginning but the Manager said that he was the boss and the parts needed to do the alignment were too expensive. If they had told me that in the beginning I would have taken the car somewhere else. Don't waste your time and money on this place. read more

After 6 hours they hand me the key saying it's done. I pull away and none of the tpms sensors they were supposed to replace are reading. Take the car back and come to find they were never installed. No apology, no empathy, no admission of the mistake, no consolation. I just have to wait another hour because of their mistake. I purchased the replacement certificate when I first purchased our car about 2 years ago. Which they repair or replace your tire for free if it gets damaged for the life of tire or 6 years. At the time I purchased it I didn't know if the tread is too low or tire is bald then it isn't covered. One of our tires was leaking air and brought it in to replace but they said it's not covered because the tread was too low and I had to pay full price for new tire. This was all news to me because when I purchased the protection they only said if it's damaged we'll repair or replace it and that's all, no mention of the tread. Joseph was the one helping me out and was kind enough to explain it and also provide discount on the new tire since I was never told the full details of the replacement process. All in all was a little upset at first and still kind of upset the fact that I still had to pay based on something that I was misinformed on but Joseph took care of it so it's all good now. read more

Anything not on their website can be specially ordered with a telephone call or in person. Price matching continues to be a good selling point even with online advertised pricing. Just be aware that they will help you calculate shipping and taxes for any price match inquiry. Their technicians and staff continue to do good work with an occasional lack of attention to some details, but often times they are trying to crank out as many jobs/orders as possible. Do communicate with your advisor the expectations you wish to draw attention to, thus they can pay a bit more attention to difficult wheels. Setting an appointment ahead of a visit is advisable. We heard they were doing free tire rotation service so we went there since our rotations were due. We weren't expecting a hundred percent full free service. We knew there was a catch and had in mind there would still be a small charge fee, but not something outrageous. Service guy Al inspected and told me its beyond rotations, and I would need new tires. I just purchased my Tesla last year and there hasn't been much mileage on it. He was gonna charge me a whopping $750... For two tires only. We went to Discount Tires and they told us everything is fine, all we need is rotations for $30 and offered us a deal for $120 balancing that includes rotating, and free balance for the life of tire. I can understand Al at America's Tire if it was a little few $ for him to haggle us on the pricing, but for $750 and lying to us about new tires is unconscionable. read more
