You can't see them but there are tons of nails and container seals all over the ground in the industrial areas down in LB, Carson, Wilmington. My coworker referred me to Central Tire No 2 for a quick patch. Quick indeed, got the mail removed from the tread and patched up in less than 10 mins. Never actually bought tires here, but I have been here MANY times for various mounting, balancing and flat repair jobs. Top aspects of this place: 1) Hardly ever a wait. I purchased a set of four tires less than a year ago, costing nearly $1,000. After discovering a screw lodged in the one tire this morning, I drove to the location. Being the only customer there at the time I spoke to the owner asking if he could check my tire out and possibly repair it. I asked if small repairs were covered since I purchased the tires there. Rudely the owner said no! He stated "Nothing Is Free In This World". He continued by saying "it's not my fault you caught a nail, everyone has to pay". "We charge for everything" I'm sure they would even charge you for some air. Having a nail in your tire really suck! What's even worse is having the people that you bought the tires from treat you like a dollar sign and not care about their customers. Wish I found this place sooner! I called the day before I went for a quick inventory check and estimate of what to expect. I was immediately greeted upon arrival and the gentleman I spoke to remembered my requests from over the phone. He explained what they were going to do, which was just to switch out my old back tires and put in two new tires. I went on a weekday in the morning, there was just one person ahead of me. I couldn't have waited for more than 20 minutes and I was all set to go. Paying in cash gave me the better deal. Service was prompt and friendly. Honest, Fast, Affordable tire repairs! Hector is great! $150 to install/balance 1new tire + change the rim on the spare I was using + get a used but good same size spare tire. Done in 45 minutes! You know the bullshit price you get at other tire joints??? The price before they add a federal excise tax, mounting, balancing, valve stems, and disposal of your old tires? They don't do that mess, the price they tell you is the price... I went in last time to get some used tires for my truck, they didn't have the size I wanted, they wanted to sell me some chinese tires, i said no thanks, and they stopped me and pulled out two 235/75/15 Goodyear Wrangler Radials for $190 bones out the door...I axed why they didnt just tell me they had the Goodyears in the first place, they said because no one in wilmington has any $$$ for tires... I'm going there this saturday to get some fat "meats" and front "skinnies" for my truck..they are cool group of dudes, fix flats, etc. read more

Been going here for years for most of my tire needs. Last time I was there I just needed to get a flat fixed and they charged $7. If you need a new or used tire I would go to this spot first just to see how much other mark up their prices.
