Then we were told we'd could keep the plate. I asked about a refund on the prior registration as I'd been told by the MVD they would credit the unused portion as we'd just updated the registration a bit over a month ago. The clerk here said we couldn't do that. The cost she gave us was over $100. I realized that was ridiculous so canceled the transaction and drove to the actual MVD on Shannon. Long story short. The actual cost was about $60. They immediately credited the old fee and so the final cost was about $14. NOT over $100. Be very wary at this business. The MVD can be a wait but it's better than paying nearly 10 times the legitimate cost!

I have worked with a couple of different employees here in the past, and everyone seems to be efficient and know what they are doing. They are always friendly and have been able to complete what I have needed every time. I don't think I have spent more than maybe 10 minutes here after I get to the counter (the wait time varies depending on when you come, but usually it's about 5-10 minutes tops). They can do most DMV services here (issuing plates - even specialty plates, transferring titles, completing registration, etc). I will gladly pay the small fee they charge any day instead of wasting my life at the DMV.

I was at the gym at 5 AM on September 24 and I was leaving, barely moving, going to turn on to the main drive of the parking lot outside of LA Fitness on First AVE. The sun was not out yet. I felt a bang behind my seat on the side of my car. I stop and get out and there is a guy all dressed in black screaming and yelling. I called the police and the ambulance. The man was hurt, I did not know what happened. I stayed till everyone was gone when the police came, took pictures, and fortunately there was a witness who gave me his phone number. He had left the gym before and was suspicious of this guy walking out around the parking and looked spaced out. He would not talk to the police at the hospital and then went to a lawyer and reported that I backed over his foot then pulled forward and back over again. The witness disputed his version. I WAS NOT CITED. The witness stated there as no way I could have avoided what happened. I was hardly even moving. I reported it to this office and the guy told me that this parking lot has a terrible homeless population. I did not know. I went back a few weeks later and took photos of them sleeping in the parking lot when it was light out. There damage to my car. Then I get notice that this office will not talk to me and I try to send a message and I was blocked. They determined I was 60% at fault. REALLY no support and obviously a scan. I have never in over 40 years of driving I have never had an accident my fault. You're good if you don't need this insurance. STAY AWAY IF YOU DO. THEY DO NOT PROVIDE SUPPORT!!! I moved my policies.
