I just remember the days when I received as well as gave some respect. Respect doesn't cost anything and I am a Veteran that was brought up while in the Military that Respect was # 1. Jon B. First step in, I love it! Tons of people helping customers find what they are looking for. As soon as I walked in someone asked if they could help me with anything, and they quickly made my keys for me. I spent time picking out key covers and carabiners. Prepping the gas, starting it throughout the summer months and letting it run, checking the oil. Despite all this, when the big day came to use the snow blower, it wouldn't blow snow, just start and stall over and over and over. As everyone knows, if you live in Maine you need to have a way to remove snow, especially if your driveway is as long as ours. So I started calling around and every repair place was booked out by at least 4 weeks. Luckily I found Sportsman's through word of mouth and they can to pick up our snowblower ($15 pick up and $15 drop off). They repaired it within 3 days! We had a storm the following day and BAM snowblower repaired and working better than ever. It even came back with an EXTREMELY detailed repair report which I appreciate! I highly recommend this place for their prompt turnaround times and responsiveness!

In the second area he lingered a few feet behind me for a long time after I found the area I needed: which I noticed, thought was strange, and I got the sense that he was trying to be intimidating. Then another costumer needed help finding something so he walked a away for less than a minute. Then he returned & continued eyeballing me. Very obvious and intrusive. After I found what I needed I walked to the front, and when I passed him I said; "You watching me like a hawk?" His reply was "yeah". I've been followed around in stores before, and I really don't like being profiled. But he admitted what he was he was doing which is accusing someone of being a thief by de facto. I'm not a thief, and have never stolen from a business. I voiced my protest to the guy at the front of the store. I really don't like leaving reviews that are negative because it affects everyone there. But when there's a employee who acts like that I'm sure the business owner would want to be aware. I'm almost 50, have never stolen from a business, and really don't like being treated like that.

When Chad showed up, he immediately did an expert diagnosis of my problem, fixed it, and did a complete service including oil change on my aging home generator. An employee (perhaps the same one that lied earlier) said they could not be rented even though they were both there, they had not been inspected and the computer system said not ready to rent. They refused to inspect and check in the lift. So I ended up driving away. So Home Depot lied and told a customer they were available to be picked up today , then when driving in they said they were not available because they had not been inspected. What a pathetic joke of staff. When calling the store to complain to the store manager that he has serious disrespectful staff (I don't appreciate being lied to the wasting my time for their lie) I was attempted to be redirected to the rentals depts.
