For example, employee Heather was so very helpful today, and helped me out so much when it came to a direct deposit discrepancy. As I mentioned I'm 6+ hours from the nearest branch, and was needing help to have money deposited into my account digitally. Through my stress and anxiety, Heather went above and beyond helping me, and figuring out the problem, and quickly resolving the issue. I was so upset, I went to lccu and they gave me the loan and it was fast and easy. I am so grateful because my other car was no longer running after having lived in it a full year before getting on my feet. I have been with them almost 2 years for my loan but I did within the last year open a bank account with them. I plan to fully move all my finances ect over from p1fcu and stop banking with them because lccu is such a great institution.

My grandma 's account…read morewas breached 4 times and the bank cashed fraudulent checks and withdraws without a second glance. When they showed us the checks that were cashed, it was obvious they were fake, sent from somewhere in California. In addition to never catching fraudulent withdrawals, they charge you every month after a loved one has passed away until the account is completely closed, the entire act of closing the account may take years with all the paper work they keep requiring. ere were many other problems with this bank in the years I cared for my grandma 's care, so I would recommend finding a different bank with better policies.

I had only called to inquire about the documents needed, and I had "consented" to what I thought was a soft inquiry as other loan processes officer an initial soft inquiry and because I was not told otherwise, and she pulled a hard inquiry during my very first conversation before I submitted any documents to apply for the auto loan. I explicitly stated and provided a job offer letter of when my start date would be, and she told me that only a verification of employment for my new job would suffice for the application. As a result of her not providing accurate information about the appropriate documents, my application was declined because "I needed a first paystub," and "There are other variables to take into account," that she did not inform me of until after my decline. They said they would need to pull a second hard inquiry because my first paystub would be after the 30 days. She hadn't told me she pulled a hard inquiry until a week later. Her supervisor used the excuse that the loan officer "was new and not aware/trained" and P1FCU's Vice President of Member Services refused to remove this hard inquiry from my account, even after her supervisor admitted that this process was incorrect and were in the wrong. I reported P1FCU to the Better Business Bureau, and the VP said they would not be correcting this and closed the grievance. I have happily chosen another credit union for my auto loan. This other credit union has an A+ rating; was more professional, efficient, and helpful; and guided me through the whole process to ensure it was done correctly the first time. I encourage everyone to steer clear of P1FCU and be aware of the deficient, unprofessional service that P1FCU provides.
