I contacted FM about a nonfunctioning electric wheelchair in Marin County months ago. Within a week, they diagnosed a broken charger and quickly got Medicaid approval to fix, yet 3 months later the part has not been installed. Speaking with service dept on June 24, I was assured of top priority service, yet 2 weeks have passed with no repair. The patient is stuck in bed as a result. Service rep Allan said today that the scheduler is trying to make delivery more cost-efficient, but that should not result in patients suffering for weeks so FM can save a few bucks on gas. read more

So I had a problem with the power chair, not powering up and I don't know why it's all systems failure the charger wouldn't do anything except blink a red light. So I called them within a couple months. They already got approved for my repair and ordered the parts for me. They called me yesterday and Allen came in here today brought in two brand new batteries and a charging unit and the power chair was up and running within 10 minutes. Allen was professional courteous and got the job done thank you man. As you see the power chairs has power and I've already taken It outside. It took them over two months to let me know that the insurance wasn't accepted and that was immediately after I expressed my disappointment with the texting service. Unacceptable customer service. I recently switched my Healthcare plan from Sutter or West County in Santa Rosa Ca specifically to recieve better care from Kaiser Permanente. They sold me an electric scooter. Medicare paid for it but that isn't my issues with them. Afterwards, they don't respond to any phone calls if you have questions.
