THE BEST HIRE!!!! Christine and Lavish were recommended to…read moreme by a friend at work. She said her sister was a wedding planner and created beautiful weddings. She was not wrong! I am so impressed by Christine and her team. My husband and I were engaged for over a year and Gabriela took care of us in the beginning from getting a vision board together, a color palette selected, and an overall concept/theme put together. They recommended different vendors and were realist about setting a budget. I originally found their online aisle planner website difficult and hard to navigate at first and learned to really appreciate it down the road. It wasn't that it was hard to navigate more than I didn't take the time to explore all the different features. It was a life saver for me and later turned into my wedding bible because it housed all my vendor information, payment schedules, important dates, seating chart, checklists, and more. Fast forward to the month before the wedding. Christine was amazing and set up all our final vendor meetings, etc. she made sure all the vendors talked to each other and coordinated everything with the hotel. She took care of all the vendor logistics, COI, etc. Which at the time, I didn't realize was a lot. She was crucial in selecting our decor and creating the timeline. The day of the wedding comes and Christine was there bright and early setting everything up. We had an attendant, Tiffany, assigned to the bridesmaids, another one dedicated to the groomsmen, Christine setting up in the reception hall, and later, Diana, a runner and they all were amazing! They were there the entire time of us getting ready and making sure we could connect with Christine as she handled the vendors coming in. They made sure we were taken care of, checked in, and never left. Diana was also a life saver and had my shoes ready for me to change into after all the photos. I could go on for days and never capture how much Christine and her team truly helped us. They helped set up, tear down, managed my family and guests, managed all the vendors, and handled all the melt downs. They were the absolute best hire! I am truly impressed and am forever grateful to Christine and her team. I 100% recommend Lavish & Co. for any wedding. They were truly amazing and went above and beyond, exceeded all expectations. My husband and I are not the easiest people and I know that. But, Christine and her team were so gracious and accommodating throughout the whole process. I have no complaints. Thank you Lavish for making my wedding a beautiful dream come true!

From the…read moremoment we met Gabriela, it was clear that she wasn't just a wedding planner--she was someone deeply invested in making our wedding day a reflection of us as a couple. She took the time during our very first meeting to ask about our personal story--how we met, how my husband proposed, and what made our relationship unique. This was something no other planner had done, and it immediately made us feel like we were in the hands of someone who truly cared. She has become more than just a wedding planner, and is now one of our friends. Our wedding was a beautiful blend of two distinct cultures, and Lavish went above and beyond to ensure that every detail honored both of our traditions in a way that felt seamless and cohesive. Gabriela found creative ways to incorporate elements of each culture into the decor, ceremony, and reception, making our celebration not just special, but incredibly personal. Her thoughtful approach to merging these cultural elements was absolutely perfect, and we were so grateful for the care she took to ensure everything felt authentic and meaningful. On top of all that, the Lavish team was incredibly attentive to every last detail. There were a few last-minute challenges on the day of the wedding, and they handled them with such grace and professionalism that we didn't have to worry about a thing. If you're looking for a wedding planning team who will go above and beyond to make your day as special as it can be, look no further than Lavish.

I chose Sara because I immediately loved her outgoing personality and felt we clicked. She was kind during our meetings, and I truly believe she wanted my wedding to be successful. Unfortunately, as planning progressed, I often felt like I was doing much of the coordination myself. Several details from our meetings were forgotten, vendors frequently contacted me directly with questions, and I ended up handling tasks that I had expected my coordinator to manage. The biggest example was collecting vendor insurance for the venue, which I had forwarded to Sara months in advance but ultimately had to gather myself just days before the wedding. On the wedding day, there were also several communication issues. Some décor wasn't set up as outlined in my planning documents, guests weren't directed to sign our guest book, and my bridesmaids often stepped in to help coordinate. I had nine bridesmaids ready to assist, but they shared that when they asked where things should go or how to complete certain tasks, they were often met with uncertainty or dismissive responses rather than direction. Several members of my bridal party and family also commented that Sara seemed overwhelmed or disengaged, which made it feel like my wedding wasn't a priority. This was the BIGGEST issue. Everyone makes mistakes but to treat others as if they are a bother and that you rather be somewhere else...that's not good at all. I also noticed my wedding wasn't showcased on her Instagram like others. No pictures taken like her other events she put on her social media. I'm assuming I wasn't someone who fit into her aesthetic. That said, I truly appreciate that Sara showed up and helped keep the day moving. Wedding coordination is a demanding job, and I wish her nothing but success as she continues to grow in her business. I also want to give a special thank you to her assistant, SARAH DOWLING. She was incredibly kind, personable, proactive, and always looking for ways to help. She went above and beyond for both my bridal party and my guests, and her support made a huge difference on our wedding day. She is the reason why I am giving this business 3 stars instead of 2. And the fact that regardless of her attitude, Sara W still showed up. Overall, I believe Sara Waldrop has potential, but my experience left me wishing for stronger communication, follow-through, and attention to detail. I hope this feedback helps her continue to grow, and I genuinely wish her the best!
