I had the best experience at freedom brides! When I came it was our last appt for the day and I was feeling down because I couldn't find anything that was me. I was looking for something less traditional, in my budget and also my timeline was getting short. Jenny was so wonderful and understanding. She really tried to help me find what I was looking for and then she suggested they could make something for me! I showed some photos of what I wanted, we picked out swatched and colors etc. She was always timely getting back to me or letting me know next steps. And she was able to help make my dress dreams come true within my budget (under $1000)! I'm so happy I came to freedom brides!

    So many amazing dresses!!

I couldn't be more pleased with my whole experience at Freedom Brides!!! The store is so charming, clean and Jennifer has some of the most beautiful dresses, with so many to choose from. I went to many other bridal stores and boutiques including David's Bridal and none of them compared to the quality of her dresses. Jennifer made the whole experience super fun and easy. I would highly recommend coming here for your wedding dress! You cannot beat her prices for the quality and value of the dresses she has.

Jenny was amazing! I recently went to a shop we won't name them here, but they're well known, and I didn't have a good experience. But when I came to freedom brides, Jenny and her daughter made me feel comfortable, and she just put me in a dress! I fell in love with one of the dresses and Jenny was there every step of the way! So supportive and attentive! I will and I have recommended her to my friends as they are brides to be! The picture doesn't do it justice! I received so many compliments on the dress! Love love it

The most magical bridal gown experience! I brought my two besties, my mom, and my mother-in-law-to-be. We got started with champagne and charcuterie which really set the tone. Jenny was soooooo amazing! She was so patient and sweet. She helped me find the PERFECT dress. She knew it would be "the one" and it literally brought me to tears. She worked within my budget and took her time with us. She even took my measurements for alterations before I left and didn't have to return later to do . She was like an Angel to me. This was the best bridal experience and will be a memory I won't forget! Every bride-to-be deserves an experience like this! The drive to get there was MORE than worth it! Tell everyone you know who is getting married about this place.

Fantastic experience here finding a dress for my special day! The staff was amazing!! They have a great selection of dresses and options for every budget! They were patient as I tried on so many different styles. They provided suggestions and shared insights from their experience. Would definitely recommend them.

My experience with Jenny could not have been more special. This truly felt like a one of a kind dress. I am so blessed to have found this place! I got my dress and veil from her. We customized it until it was as I wanted it. She is a gem

Trying different dresses with the owner Jenny. She was with me the whole time, what other shop do you get that kind of service?!

Freedom Brides is a hidden gem (literally!) They are the sweetest ladies and very knowledgeable. They have a surprisingly large selection for a small shop like this and they are willing to work with your budget more than any other shop I have been to. I unfortunately didn't find "the one" here but I wasn't pressured or made to feel bad at all and I was told there would be more dresses coming in the next week if I wanted to come back (I still might if I haven't found anything by then.) I wish I had found my dress here because I would love to support their business, I definitely like the way they do things! They don't charge for alterations and they even have included items like a veil when you purchase a dress. What they tell you the dress costs is what you pay! It seems like they are just getting started and have plans to make their business bigger which I am excited for. I would recommend them to anyone in the area looking for a different wedding dress shopping experience. Do save the gate code before you leave your house though because we lost service several miles before we got there and had to honk and wait while she walked out to let us in lol... oops! Overall a wonderful experience.

You have to use your key on the wall to get most of the lights to work. The room was clean and cozy. The fridge was cold, and there is both coffee and tea. My daughter has a fractured ankle (unrelated) so when we entered the room, on May 26, 2026, we had our daughter sit on the couch while we wiped down the rest of the room. Nothing too crazy but the remote was sticky, there were a couple of hairs in the sink, and the door handle to the bathroom was pretty gross. Everything else was relatively clean and there were no bed bugs on the bed or curtains. I thought we were safe. Then I saw my daughter's back after her shower. I've included a picture. I couldn't pinpoint the source of the issue yet so we put lotion on her and went to bed. The next day we went to the Safari Park so we weren't in the room until the evening. That's when I sat on the couch. Within a few minutes. I started to get itchy. I immediately got off the couch and showered. So now we've identified the issue. The couch. By this time, we were already packed up to check out the next morning so it didn't make sense to switch rooms and have to wipe down another room. At check out, on May 28, 2026, I informed the front desk about the issue with couch and let them know that they should inspect it. I didn't ask for compensation, just that they need to clean the couch and possible steam it because I suspected that it was dust or dust mites that caused the reactions. On the morning June 2, 2026, our daughter still had red marks on her back so this must be more serious than I initially thought. I called Marriott customer service. Janice was so nice, apologizing for the experience and offer to put in a request to refund one nights room rate and taxes. I thought that was fair and thank her. That evening, I get an email for Rachel Ramos, Operations manager of SpringHill Suites Escondido (cc to Devon Akpom, the General Manager, I believe), saying that they were denying the refund request because they looked in the room and "didn't see anything" except a June bug. Girl. Since when can you see dust or dust mites on a fabric couch? A dismissal with an add insult to my intelligence. I reached back out to Marriott customer service on June 3, 2026 and spoke with Gloria. She said she couldn't override their decision so I asked to the issue to be escalated. She said that maybe if I reached out to Rachel Ramos, that maybe they'll offer me Marriott Bonvoy points. I let her know that I'm not interested in Bonvoy points because if this issue isn't resolved, I won't be staying at any more Marriott Hotels. Today is June 4, 2026. My daughter still has red marks on her back, even after Children's Allegra and lotion. We'll have to take her to the pediatrician. Don't make the mistake I did of booking a room here.

I ultimately gave them a 3, but leaning towards a 4, just been in more updated properties, that is why are ended up at a 3. This particular Hampton is a Hampton Inn, not Inn and suites. Dis not realize that, but not a big deal. The rooms were still pretty spacious and comfortable. The staff here was very good, smiling, helpful, offered me some snacks for being a Gold member, thank you. The hotel itself was comfortable, but it is on the older side, but still has an outdoor pool, breakfast area and a small gym. So really all the things you need for a comfortable stay. I did not try out the pool, but the breakfast was good and the gym worked, but lacked a bench, which makes a big difference when trying to get a good workout in. The rooms have a slightly larger mini fridge, which is nice to store leftovers and a small freezer section, A coffee maker and a microwave, very convenient. Bed was comfortable as well. There was actually a group of soccer player staying at the hotel that were pretty loud, but once in the rooms, could not really hear them that much, so the walls had decent insulation. As far as the review, here is the good and what could be improved and the weighted average lead me to a 3. Hotel common area's 3 Room 3 Free Breakfast 4 Free parking 5 Gym 2.5 Pool 4 I think this hotel could easily be a 4, maybe even a 5 with an update to the decor and rooms and if they could reconfigure the gym to add a bench and maybe a bigger footprint, but even just adding a bench would bump it up to a 4 for me. They did have dumbbell's up to 70 or 75 lbs, which is a plus. If you are looking for a comfortable stay, reasonable rates, free parking and breakfast and a good overall value, this is a good choice. No frills, just a clean place to stay. I would recommend. I would imagine they will update soon as all around them is up and coming and building a lot of new modern structures, I would hope they would to keep up with the area. Enjoy!

The mattress was super comfortable and comfy pillows too. Breakfast was yummy and loved the coffee and waffle bar. (Don't forget to flip it so the timer goes on, should have a direction for that!) the breakfast area was nice and also an outdoor patio with heater is great. The room itself was what you would expect from a typical Marriott property. Clean, comfortable, and nothing out of the ordinary. The most disappointing part for me was the breakfast. As someone who eats plant based, my options were extremely limited. I ended up having oatmeal and bananas both mornings while watching most guests enjoy bacon and eggs. I was honestly expecting a bit more variety, especially fresh fruit, which feels like a basic for a standard Western hotel breakfast. On a positive note, the guy sitting on the bench outside was the best part. Overall, it was an okay stay, but I do wish there were more inclusive breakfast options, especially at that price point.

After doing a quick "around me" search, Holiday Inn Express & Suites San Diego-Escondido popped up. Doing a cross-check between Yelp and Google, I saw that they had pretty good reviews. Being that they only had two rooms available for the desired price, I did not hesitate to book the reservation. Although the establishment had good reviews pertaining to the cleanliness and amenities of the hotel, poor customer service was a reoccurring theme in the reviews that I read. Therefore, I was shocked when I entered the establishment and was warmly greeted by a front desk employee by the name of Mark. Mark informed me about the hotel's amenities (including the free breakfast) and quickly checked me in. He also saw that I had dinner from the nearby California Fish Grill (the hotel is in close proximity to many restaurants and fast food establishments) and offered my utensils...talk about being attentive! My third floor room was very clean and appropriately furnished (to my delight the room had both a refrigerator and microwave). Although the room faced the busy freeway, the insulation was so good that I could barely hear anything. I liked the little touches such as the mirror with built-in vanity lighting around the perimeter. My only gripe was that the television was a traditional model with a few cable channels; in 2025 I would expect all hotel rooms to be equipped with a SMART TV that has built-in streaming platforms (e.g., Netflix, HBO Max). The following day, I grabbed a coffee from the cafeteria and quickly checked out. I enjoyed my stay here and will return if I'm in the area again!
