THE BEST HIRE!!!! Christine and Lavish were recommended to…read moreme by a friend at work. She said her sister was a wedding planner and created beautiful weddings. She was not wrong! I am so impressed by Christine and her team. My husband and I were engaged for over a year and Gabriela took care of us in the beginning from getting a vision board together, a color palette selected, and an overall concept/theme put together. They recommended different vendors and were realist about setting a budget. I originally found their online aisle planner website difficult and hard to navigate at first and learned to really appreciate it down the road. It wasn't that it was hard to navigate more than I didn't take the time to explore all the different features. It was a life saver for me and later turned into my wedding bible because it housed all my vendor information, payment schedules, important dates, seating chart, checklists, and more. Fast forward to the month before the wedding. Christine was amazing and set up all our final vendor meetings, etc. she made sure all the vendors talked to each other and coordinated everything with the hotel. She took care of all the vendor logistics, COI, etc. Which at the time, I didn't realize was a lot. She was crucial in selecting our decor and creating the timeline. The day of the wedding comes and Christine was there bright and early setting everything up. We had an attendant, Tiffany, assigned to the bridesmaids, another one dedicated to the groomsmen, Christine setting up in the reception hall, and later, Diana, a runner and they all were amazing! They were there the entire time of us getting ready and making sure we could connect with Christine as she handled the vendors coming in. They made sure we were taken care of, checked in, and never left. Diana was also a life saver and had my shoes ready for me to change into after all the photos. I could go on for days and never capture how much Christine and her team truly helped us. They helped set up, tear down, managed my family and guests, managed all the vendors, and handled all the melt downs. They were the absolute best hire! I am truly impressed and am forever grateful to Christine and her team. I 100% recommend Lavish & Co. for any wedding. They were truly amazing and went above and beyond, exceeded all expectations. My husband and I are not the easiest people and I know that. But, Christine and her team were so gracious and accommodating throughout the whole process. I have no complaints. Thank you Lavish for making my wedding a beautiful dream come true!

From the…read moremoment we met Gabriela, it was clear that she wasn't just a wedding planner--she was someone deeply invested in making our wedding day a reflection of us as a couple. She took the time during our very first meeting to ask about our personal story--how we met, how my husband proposed, and what made our relationship unique. This was something no other planner had done, and it immediately made us feel like we were in the hands of someone who truly cared. She has become more than just a wedding planner, and is now one of our friends. Our wedding was a beautiful blend of two distinct cultures, and Lavish went above and beyond to ensure that every detail honored both of our traditions in a way that felt seamless and cohesive. Gabriela found creative ways to incorporate elements of each culture into the decor, ceremony, and reception, making our celebration not just special, but incredibly personal. Her thoughtful approach to merging these cultural elements was absolutely perfect, and we were so grateful for the care she took to ensure everything felt authentic and meaningful. On top of all that, the Lavish team was incredibly attentive to every last detail. Simply put, Sassy Little Bee is the reason we had our wedding in Southern California, and was the…read moresingle best decision we made!!! Her experience, thoughtfulness, enthusiasm, attention to detail, amazing list of vendors/friends, and love for what she does didn't just complement our wedding - it defined it!! As New Yorkers, for several months after our engagement we flirted with the idea of a destination wedding, but were overwhelmed by the choices and the prospect of managing a list of vendors from across the country. After one conversation with Amanda, our trepidation disappeared and was replaced with pure enthusiasm for what we could do together. With zero hesitation, we signed up for a "Full Service Wedding Planning" package and never looked back! Pretty quickly into the process, Amanda assessed our vision, and introduced us to a tremendous group of vendors, helped us lock in our venue (Darlington House in La Jolla), and provided a roadmap to help us understand what the road ahead would look like. Each month, for over a year, we had monthly calls with Amanda that were collaborative, productive, oftentimes therapeutic, and in an era of Pinterest-inspired fads and whims, kept us focused on our original vision. One of the most amazing qualities about Amanda is that she communicates extremely well with different personalities, has an instinctive awareness of her client's needs, and provides room for the process to be as collaborative or as done-for-you as you may want. Amanda went above and beyond in every regard for our wedding, and her commitment to us having *our* perfect wedding was unyielding. Over the course of planning our wedding, we made a couple trips out to California, not because we needed to, but in part because we were so excited to spend time with Amanda and the amazing vendors she introduced us to. A few months into our wedding planning process, we were so enamored with and impressed by Amanda, we even asked her to officiate our wedding. This was a testament not just to our extreme trust and faith in her, but how safe she made us feel throughout the process, how well she got to know us, and how obvious it was she was just as invested in our big day as we were. Turns out, it was a great decision; she was a phenomenal officiant -- truly magical and so incredibly thoughtful. (Not a surprise!) Throughout the wedding journey, we met and hired many super talented vendors, and could not have been more pleased with the results, but the singular credit for everything being as magnificent as it was goes to Amanda, her ability to communicate with our team of vendors, unite everyone behind a clear vision, and ensure it was executed precisely, with love and joy from all those who were involved. When you work with Amanda, you don't just get a wedding planner. You get a wedding visionary with the ability to take everything up a notch (or 10!) She works with love, coaxes it out of everyone involved, and truly embodies and executes on the ideal of a heart-centered wedding. Without reservation we recommend Sassy and her team for anyone looking for a unique, special, genuine, and/or well-executed wedding. We are forever grateful for Sassy Little Bee!

She will allow you to totally enjoy your day without noticing a single thing that may or may not go wrong. It almost felt surreal to fully experience and take in our wedding day after hearing how easily you get distracted or pulled in different directions. Looking back on the day I felt incredibly present and able to appreciate all the little moments - I genuinely feel Amanda is a big reason why. Amanda's nickname, Sassy Little Bee, is totally appropriate - she's super sweet, quirky and a kid at heart, but meantime she can be tough with vendors and won't let them get away with excuses. We had a few tiffs with a vendor and Amanda helped me through all the strife and headaches - even at 8am the morning after the wedding. Most importantly, hiring Amanda gave us total peace of mind. I was confident that her years of experience meant there wouldn't be a single detail forgotten and I was right (not to mention - have you SEEN her wedding day emergency kit?!). If you're getting married at Brick - don't look elsewhere. Amanda knows the venue like the back of her hand and can foresee any disaster as well as expedite approvals because she knows exactly what the venue needs from your vendors. Bonus - the sweetest touch was her thoughtful, handwritten card left at our table for us to read during dinner, reminding us to savor every moment of the night. Thank you Amanda for ensuring our wedding was such a smooth-running experience.

I knew as soon as our initial meeting was over I knew that I wanted to work with Jen. We had a few meetings between then and the wedding, but most of our communication was through email and phone. She visited my venue with me shortly before the wedding to help me smooth out a couple of kinks, and gave me options and ideas for any other problem I had. Fast-forward to our wedding day. Everything went PERFECTLY. I can't even begin to say how grateful I am that we decided to work with Jen. My dad had arrived at the venue hours before I did to help set up, and later couldn't stop expressing how impressed he was with Jen's professionalism. Last minute we were worried that an LED dance floor might look tacky but it was beautiful, fun, and a huge hit. They changed the colors on the dance floor depending on what part of the reception we were at so during some of the family performances there were beautiful white lights and during the open dance floor it changed colors. I might recommend having some kind of gradient to the elevated LED dance floor in case people aren't looking down when they walk on, but that might be hard to employ! We weren't the kind of couple that was very nitpicky about each part of the decor (so I can't speak for those couples that have more of a detailed vision) but I thought, for us, the finished product was classy, glamorous, and fun.
