We would recommend Tres Chic Affairs to anyone planning a wedding, no matter the location - if we could give more than 5 stars we would! From our first phone call with Molly more than a year and a half before our wedding, and even still well after our wedding, there hasn't been a moment in time where we didn't feel supported by Molly and Rachel. We would plan a wedding all over again if we could work with them again. The benefit of hiring Molly and Rachel for Greengate Ranch & Vineyard in San Luis Obispo is that they know the venue like the back of their hand. They made the year and a half of planning feel like an absolute breeze and took so much of the guess work out of the equation for us. They answered every single one of our questions and their responsiveness was almost instant. Molly and Rachel never made us feel like we were asking silly questions, were always reassuring, and would help point us in the right direction. Going on our venue tours and our food tasting with Molly and Rachel was so much fun. Getting to witness their positive relationships with vendors in the area was so special. You could tell that they genuinely cared about us, every vendor we worked with, and vice versa. When vendors found out that we were working with Molly and Rachel, everyone had nothing but amazing things to say about them. The level of expertise, detail, care, and knowledge that Molly and Rachel bring is unmatched. They took care of so much behind the scenes throughout the whole experience. By the time the wedding weekend rolled around, they had taken care of everything which allowed us to enjoy the weekend and feel like guests at our wedding. So many guests were complementary of the flow, the food, and all of the small details, which is all thanks to Molly and Rachel! They will make you feel so incredibly special and taken care of. If you're looking for peace of mind and wedding planners you can trust with bringing your vision to life, hiring Tres Chic Affairs will be the best wedding planning decision you make.

Our picturesque, multi-day wedding in Oceanside, CA was perfectly planned, coordinated, and managed thanks to one person: Rachel Cohn. We were 2,700mi away and Rachel shepherded us through the entire process: from interfacing with our venue (The Seabird), to providing amazing vendor references, scheduling and tracking everything and everybody, and supporting us during the big day and night--Rachel was there. We truly couldn't have realized our dream wedding without her.

My husband and I live in Arizona but wanted to have our wedding somewhere in San Diego. We really weren't sure where to start at all. We had just got engaged and wanted to look at some venues in San Diego but I was overwhelmed by all the questions and things that I should be asking of each venue. My sister's friend had recently got married in San Diego and shared her wedding planners number with us so I reached out to Molly. We had an initial call with her and she gave us some questions to ask the venues and things to be looking for and told us to let her know what we thought after. Each venue was so impressed by all the questions I was asking but I couldn't take any credit because it was all Molly! After we looked at a few venues I was overwhelmed by vendors and everything wedding related so we hired Molly instantly. The BEST decision we could have made! Molly is so intelligent about all things wedding. Going through numerous venues with her she knew every question to ask and all the little details you don't think about. She answered every question we had no matter how crazy it seemed. She was so cool, calm, and collected through every step of planning which made me feel so much better. She took the time to make sure every detail was perfect for our wedding day. I had originally wanted a certain look for our tables at our wedding and we had contacted the vendors about it and then I completely switched what I wanted and Molly had no problem making the change. She always reminded me that it was my wedding day and whatever I wanted was what she would do. When we arrived at our wedding location for our wedding weekend Molly checked in multiple times, and told us to take every moment in. The day of my wedding was nothing short of amazing. Seeing every detail come to life it was better than I could have imagined. I told my husband that day, thank god we hired Molly and trusted her because she knows what she is doing. I'm not kidding every detail was perfect! It was hard for me to envision all the details come to life but it was more perfect that I could imagined. Her team was also fabulous! Rachel was so amazing in helping leading up to the wedding and during the wedding day. They made my day the best it could have been with no worry in the world. Molly is the perfect wedding planner and if I could have my wedding again I would choose her a million times over!

Organization is my jam. Releasing control...not so much. Type A, Enneagram 3, ESTJ, Virgos, where you at? So, when it came to finding the right coordinator, I knew that it'd take a special trusting relationship for me to comfortably relinquish the details of our day to someone who would execute every single detail to perfection and boy, did she ever!!! I can honestly say that I felt so at ease and had so much fun throughout this entire wedding planning process because of Rachel! We chatted with a hand full of coordinators and choosing Rachel and Tres Chic Affairs was a no-brainer. I fell in love with the attention to detail and design and style of the different weddings I had seen they'd done and just had a gut feeling when I talked to her that she was someone I could trust and that I'd get along with. Throughout the planning process, with each vendor we booked, they all knew of Rachel and reaffirmed what good hands we were in. Although we chose the month of coordination package, we were immediately set up with Aisle Planner- a website used to track and organize all thing weddings. It was such a helpful tool and came with an extensive checklist and sections to upload vendor information and details about our big day. I also appreciated that it allowed Rachel the ability to keep tabs on how we were doing and ensure that we were on track. While Rachel was so incredibly responsive throughout the entire process, answering questions we had along the way, she fully jumped in a few months before our wedding to lead us to the finish line! I am so grateful for Rachel because she really pulled everything together. She was so on top of communicating with vendors, fleshing out timeline details and ensuring that everyone knew where to be and what to do. There was so much behind the scenes work that she did and it was evident in conversations with our vendors who were so ready and prepared for our day. The week leading up to our wedding, I was honestly feeling a little bored. I thought that our days would be filled with wrapping up final details, but everything was confirmed and so completely ready to go that we got time to just relax and enjoy extra time with out of town guests as they rolled into San Diego for our wedding. Our wedding day was truly a dream come true. It was absolutely perfect (and if anything wasn't- I have no idea because Rachel handled it). She was everywhere all at once and made sure that each detail was in place and that we always had a drink in hand. And while I know there were a million things she was doing that day, she brought such a sense of calm to our day. She always had a smile on her face and helped make sure my husband and I had special and intentional moments to just take a breath and enjoy each other that we'll forever cherish. And if all that wasn't enough, our wedding party and family could not stop raving about her. They loved her and appreciated how she perfectly kept us on track but in such a kind and positive way that things just felt so good! Our wedding was perfect. Rachel is perfect. And we will forever have her to thank for the best perfect day of our lives.

I was referred to Molly/Très Chic Affairs by a friend who had seen what an amazing job Molly and Rachel had done at a wedding she was in. She said that not only did her friend who is getting married rave about how amazing her experience with Molly was but she herself a bridesmaid, had seen what an incredible job Molly and Rachel did on the wedding day and throughout all of the wedding activities that weekend. After about five minutes on the phone with Molly, I knew this was my wedding planner. Molly's warmth, ability to make sense of my disorganized thoughts around what I wanted for my wedding , impressive responsiveness and her patience with me throughout the planning process was truly amazing. Molly kept me on task when it came to our planning timeline without being pushy, or making me feel overwhelmed. After a couple of conversations, she understood my taste and the vision I had and was able to take a lot of the smaller stylistic choices that I didn't have a lot of time for completely off my plate. I trusted her opinion completely and knew that she would deliver (and she did!). It is important to note that I chose a venue that Molly had not planned a wedding at before and they were still able to execute perfectly and achieve exactly what I wanted for my special day. I had the best vendors, most beautiful rentals, and a truly amazing DJ! The entire process was far less stressful and demanding than I thought it would be ( and everyone kept saying it would be) and I know this is because I had such a great team in my corner with Rachel and Molly! The wedding itself was stunning and the day was a dream thanks to Molly and Rachel. If there was a problem on the day, I had no idea about it because these two were able to problem solve and manage any issues that occurred. They kept the event on track without making "the big production" feel like a big production. My husband and I were able to truly enjoy each other, our guests and had the time of our lives without a worry in the world because we knew Très Chic was on top of everything! It was everything we could've hoped for and more. Molly and Rachel are both exceptional at what they do and I could not recommend them enough. Thank you both a million times over!!!

Molly and her team are absolutely amazing!! From designing, finding/negotiating with vendors, paying attention/ executing details to bring our visions to life, they were the biggest reason why our wedding day went so smoothly and beautifully! Prior to the wedding, I remember being so nervous seeing our mock-up design in person and was worried that we would have to change our design, but once we walked into the room my worries were gone! I was in tears how beautiful the mockup looked and how seamless Molly blended our modern/costal/romantic designs together so effortlessly. She even went out of her way to find a vendor that can create these custom wooden pedestals that we've envisioned for our seating chart display, despite finalizing our rentals and it being a couple of weeks out before the wedding! Molly made sure the custom pedestals matched with the venue/furniture that we rented, made sure it was created in time and ensured our vision comes to life. Molly truly made our dream wedding a reality and also made sure we were able to actually enjoy our day. Regarding the wedding, everything was perfect! We didn't have to do a thing but be in the moment and celebrate with our friends and family. Not even minutes after our wedding ceremony, Molly made sure we had our signature drinks in hand and appetizers that was served during our cocktail hour to eat. Our guests kept complementing how beautiful the wedding was and how smoothly everything went. These were only a few out of the manny things Molly & the team did for us! We truly can't even explain how amazing they were and would highly recommend hiring them!!

I'm known for exhausting every option to ensure every detail is flawless, and having planned several large-scale events myself, I knew it would take someone exceptional to earn my trust and allow me to truly step back. Planning a wedding from another state made this even more important. After interviewing several planners in search of the perfect fit, Rachel was the clear and easy choice. From the beginning, Rachel made the entire planning process feel effortless. She provided a detailed checklist to keep us organized, patiently answered all my endless questions, and offered the support I needed at every step. Deciding to work with Molly and Tre chic affairs was by far the best decision I could have made. If I could rate higher than 5 here, I would! I admittedly put off wedding planning for awhile because I was truly intimidated with the process, the decisions I knew I would need to make and everything else that comes with planning a wedding. The moment I talked with Molly, I instantly felt at ease. In my head I had an idea of what I wanted but it was hard to even describe in words but Molly knew instantly, it was like she was in my head. She made me feel calm, less anxious and I instantly felt like I could trust her. Throughout the process Molly was organized, thorough, and answered every question I had so quickly! If I had a random thought about something we may need to do, it was already done. She had all payment dates organized so it was super easy for us to stay on top of things and to easily track budget. She went above and beyond in so many ways, even giving our officiant advice on what to wear. We would have literally been so lost without her. She knows the industry inside and out and was always there to share what's typical and what's not which made me feel good about decisions we were making and vendors we were going with. Trust me when I say, she was right every single time. Months and months later and family and friends are still raving about how amazing everything was from the food to flowers, DJ, everything. Seeing everything come together was truly an out of body experience. I could not believe my eyes, it was beyond what we could have imagined. The day went so insanely smooth, everything was perfect. Molly was there to calm my nerves, help me switch into my party dress, make sure I ate, and really just be the best hype girl out there. As someone who is type A but has a busy job and wouldn't be able to fully plan my own wedding, I needed a planner who I could trust to be communicative and organized. Tres Chic was a preferred vendor for the hotel that we had already chosen as our venue, and I had a great vibe with Rachel from our first call. Working with her over the course of a year to plan the wedding of my dreams was a fantastic experience. She was always reachable, even on weekends when I knew she had other events. She gave us great vendor recommendations and in talking to them it was clear she is respected and loved across the community in San Diego. She offered her honest opinion when I asked for it and has great taste overall, so I trusted her to execute the vision we honed in on together. And on my actual wedding day she was like a friend that I was just excited to experience the event with, seamlessly coordinating the timeline, communicating with vendors and allowing me and my husband to be fully present. I absolutely loved working with Rachel, and highly recommend her!

Best wedding planner ever!! We had the absolute best day, I truly don't think it could have been any better, all thanks to Molly & Rachel. Everything was gorgeous and so smooth. Before the wedding, so many people told me to just relax because something will go wrong but you just have to let it go and enjoy the day. The best decision we made during the wedding planning process was deciding to work with Tres Chic Affairs. We interviewed a few wedding planners, but from our first phone call with Molly (founder/creative director), we knew she was the planner for us. We could immediately tell that Molly was talented, knowledgable, experienced, and organized-- all traits that held true throughout the planning process. Molly also has the most amazing, calming demeanor: she put me at ease from the beginning, which is hard to do given my tendency to stress way too much! We had about a year and a half to plan our wedding, and we communicated frequently with Molly and Rachel (event designer), who answered all of our questions and then some. They set us up with incredible software to manage every vendor outreach, contract, payment, etc., an invaluable tool when you're trying to coordinate a thousand things at once. We got married at a venue that requires all outside vendors, and I know that Molly and Rachel's relationships ensured we got to work with the best of the best: so many of our vendors told us that they never say no to working with Tres Chic. The best compliment! As a bride, I was what I imagine to be a *special* kind of client: I was both too busy with work to stay on top of all the decision-making, but also too Type A to surrender control to anyone else to make the decision. What a treat for Molly and Rachel! Despite this, they treated me (and my husband) with nothing but absolute kindness and respect throughout the whole process, following up when we missed an email and encouraging us to make decisions before we missed out on opportunities. Again, I can't stress how invaluable it was to have someone as organized as they were, making sure each piece came together. There wasn't a moment during the entire process when I didn't feel like we were in the best hands. From a design perspective, Molly is a master of her craft, and I am in awe of her. She understood my vision from the outset, but somehow brought it to life in a way that exceeded even my wildest dreams. From tables, to chairs, to flowers, to linens, to place seatings-- I could go on-- believe me when I say that you can TRUST Molly to make all of your design dreams come true. When I saw it all come together the day of, I was blown away, and so were our guests, many of whom are still messaging us to gush about some detail. I look back at pictures and still can't believe *that* was our wedding. That's the gift you get by working with Molly. Rachel is a design master in her own right, and her creativity helped elevate our day in ways I couldn't imagine. Rachel single-handedly brought to life so many of the most amazing details of our day, from place seatings, to signage, and more, on top of continuing to manage our vendor relationships. All of the details that I felt overwhelmed by seemed like a breeze for Rachel. Rachel is so kind and showed so much excitement for us throughout the planning process, which we so appreciated. Working with Tres Chic means gaining a partner you can trust to bring your big day to life. As other past brides have mentioned, I was so relaxed the week of the wedding, and that's entirely because I trusted Molly and Rachel's expertise to shine through, which it did in spades. The timeline they created for the day was flawless: there wasn't a moment we were running behind, and my husband and I even had downtime before the ceremony to sit together, drink some water, and soak it all in. What a gift that was! From our very first phone call, I knew Molly was the planner and coordinator for us. She immediately put me at ease, and answered all of my many questions. Her experience, knowledge of the industry, and communication style were so impressive and real. She treated me like we'd been friends for years, and was always protective and looking out for our best interest. The entire planning process and wedding was seamless and fun. She went out of her way repeatedly to address every aspect of our wedding, from deposits and contracts, to design and styling. Molly & Rachel were amazing! I was beyond overwhelmed thinking about planning my wedding. I come from the event world and I wasn't sure if I could give up the control. Let me tell you--best decision ever!! I tell literally everyone I know that if I didn't have a planner I wouldn't have had a wedding. Now after having a wedding I am SO happy I did and I owe that all to Tres Chic Affairs. When I tell you NOTHING went wrong on my wedding day. Nothing went wrong! Everyone tells you "things are going to go wrong day of that you can't control" NOT IF YOU HAVE MOLLY & RACHEL! I knew exactly what I wanted my wedding to look like and they got the vision day 1. I was very particular about things and they just got it. Day of was also a breeze. I am not a calm person and I was so calm because I knew we had everything done WEEKS before the date. Guests came up to me and made comments about how on it & nice they were. Vendors told me they were the best planners they have worked with. The list goes on. Could not recommend them more. She then offered a 20% refund and asked me to change my review, which I again declined. She claimed that despite paying for full event planning services, the event was subpar because I hadn't been involved in planning it. They didn't call. They didn't ask me to go their warehouse. They didn't do anything until the week of the event, when they tried to fit me into their random available times to walk them through my space via FaceTime. To clarify, I paid $2,000 for someone to plan and orchestrate an event. What I received was maybe a $200-$300 setup, and it's apparently my fault for not planning the event I paid someone to plan. She argued that I should have requested changes during the setup. However, I wasn't home at the time. The whole point of hiring this service was to arrive at a fully set-up event with my guests. When I arrived, they were still setting up as my guests were arriving (even though they were supposed to have been gone by then). So, there wasn't time to make changes, and it would have been an awkward conversation anyway. Instead of blaming me, they should have done the job they were paid to do or not sold the package in the first place. To add insult to injury, she compared this situation to eating a pizza and then requesting a refund. This was over $2k. It's not even close to ordering a pizza and asking for a refund. She ripped me off. I stand by my request for a full refund. She should have offered that refund on her own. This event was pitiful. I will never use their services again or recommend them to anyone.

I had my sisters baby shower at Wee Gather and I came from out of town so paid for the planning…read moreservices package. Andrea did an amazing job with the decorating and was very welcoming and accommodating to my events needs. The table decor and balloon decor was spot on and we loved it all! Was a very comfortable set up for 25 people including some kiddos!

I was in a bind for our high school football team's Thanksgiving team dinner. Four weeks prior, the…read moreweather was shifting back-and-forth teasing rain on ONE day... the day of our event. Tuesday of the dinner week rolled around, and sure enough, the rain was confirmed for Thursday. I reached out to what felt like 1 million different companies, and most of the quotes were fairly high for a canopy. I found Arael Events here on yelp, and then I went to social media to see if I could find additional tagged photos of events they've done. Not that I needed an elaborate set up, but I wanted to make sure that the set up looked nice and that it would withstand the weather and wind. Her quote came in significantly lower than most other companies, and that included canopy walls, a string of lights down the center, as well as set up and teardown. They are quick, professional, and friendly! When I find a company that I believe in, they have my full support! I would highly recommend this company to anybody looking to rent for their events, so much so that after my event, they took down the canopy, and transported it just down the road to a friend's place for their weekend event, AND I booked them again for our team the following week.

What I don't understand is why--after all this time--not one person has reached out to me. My calls have gone unanswered. At this point, it's clear they've chosen to keep my money and hope I just go away. Well, they almost got away with it--but I won't stay silent. The least I can do is share my experience so others can make informed decisions. Times are tough again, and now more than ever, people deserve to work with empathetic, customer-focused companies. Out of all the vendors I worked with--some much smaller businesses, and even The Mission Inn in Riverside--every single one handled things with empathy and integrity. This company did the opposite. I never had a wedding due to COVID. That ship sailed years ago. Suggesting I use the deposit for another event is completely unrealistic. I'm not an event planner--what would I even need rentals for now? If the business chooses to respond here with a long, defensive comment instead of simply doing the right thing, don't be fooled. A polished reply from behind a keyboard doesn't change the fact that they've ignored me for five years. This experience has been deeply disappointing. If they're still holding onto deposits from people who never received a service, it says everything you need to know about how they operate.

We hired Watering Haul for our wedding…read moreday at the Ultimate Skybox and from the moment we had our first call we knew they were the ones we wanted for our big day. Stephanie was so responsive and helpful with answering any questions we had along with helping us with our shopping list for a BYOB option. The whole team went above and beyond with their service and made sure everyone was pleased with their drinks. There was never a line at the bar and everyone was raving about the signature drinks( spicy margarita & John Daly ) and their presentation. The whole bar looked amazing and they even made sure we had signature drinks ready to go right after the ceremony for all of the bridal party and some extra for guests to grab and go. The bartenders that worked our wedding were Shannon, Ally and Alex and they were so amazing! we honestly couldn't have asked for a better bar caterer for our special day and can't thank them enough for making our day unforgettable. Highly recommend booking them for your next event!
