Fantastic pizza. It's worth it. The quality for price is solid. I tried Free Pizza on a whim and it was one of the best choices I've ever made. The pizza is thin crust. The dough is crispy on the bottom, yet soft in the middle. The cheese is a thin layer, but not in a bad way. You don't feel overwhelmed with cheese. The sauce is also a thin layer. It's the perfect ratio of layers. I highly recommend their garlic fingers. They are like a pizza but instead of tomato sauce, you have a garlicky butter. The ultimate comfort food. They hold odd hours, but that just makes me appreciate the pizza more. It also saves me from buying their pizza too frequently. read more

This is a small non assuming good cart, sitting all by itself close to Gabriel Park on Vermont and 45th. The online menu is more expansive than the one posted on the cart, but they only make delicious 12" pizzas. There are no drinks , salads or appetizers on the men The service is good, but I recommend calling ahead with your order s you don't have to wait until your pizza is ready. The pizzas were delicious with nice crust and full of flavors... the Honey Boi was our favorite! I would have liked a bit more basil on the Margarita pizza, but it was still tasty! There is plenty of parking, but only one picnic bench if you want to enjoy your pizza onsite. read more

Food cart with delicious Sicilian style thin crust pizza. Call early since they do run out of pizza. Recommend the pepperoni- cooked to curl up on the edges with little pools of fat ok the middle. The white ranger is full of veggies. The cheese pizza was probably the least interesting, but still good. read more

Free Pizza is a great food truck located in the parking lot for Driftwood Coffee! Just down the street from Gabriel Park. These folks, know pizza! The crust has a lovely texture and the ingredients are fresh and delicious. Our pizza chef was a young, courteous man who clearly is efficient and knows how to artfully craft a delicious pizza The menu has several pizzas to choose from, including the traditional pepperoni, margarita, cheese, and a couple of specialty pizzas like the spinach artichoke one you see in my photo. I would come back! I highly recommend that you pick up a pizza, or have one on their picnic table. Or take some to the park. Enjoy! read more

My husband and I drove by this place a few times before we finally came by when it was open. We didn't know they had only just opened up a week or two before we stopped in. They were friendly and answered our many questions. They told us about the weekly special, and we decided to try that one. It was a decent-size pizza for a food price. My husband and sons all really enjoyed it and would definitely go back. The dough was amazing too. Great to have a good pizza place kinda close to us. read more

This was really a sad situation. I adored Oak and Olive's cheese pizza in Hillsdale, but they died. I read on Yelp about Free Pizza and thought it might be similar. We ordered by phone, went and picked up - but there really isn't anywhere near to eat...so we took it home. Sadly, home is about 12 min away, so by the time we got there, it was pretty cold. It seemed like, had we had it right away, it would've been great. But reheating in the microwave killed it. read more

The pizza is so so so good! Check the website and call in your order before you go. They're friendly enough when you get there but I saw them turn away customers at the window. Also, there is nowhere to sit and eat your pizza, so plan to take it home or to Gabriel Park, which is nearby. read more

Wow, big fan!! This pizza is great quality and has so much flavor! Both the White Ranger and Surf Ninja were absolutely delicious. The prices are also great for a 12" pizza! And I actually walked away with 2 for the price of one! I couldn't decide which one to order, so they threw in a whole extra pizza, free of charge. They're living up to their name! I was blown away. Great pizza but they don't keep consistent hours and their voicemail message says that they are either not there or are too busy to answer the phone. This makes for a less than fun game of either calling back over and over in the hopes that they might just be busy or driving over in-person to find out. It's not worth the hassle. If you drive over, sometimes they have a sign posted that says "closed today." We are so disappointed that such an amazing pizza place is run so poorly. read more

Yesterday I was walking my dog when I, correction, when WE (dog and I) got a most wunnerful whiff of pizza. I poked my head in the window and the guys seemed so happy and the inside was clean and tidy ( which I like to see) The guys even offered my dog a healthy sized dog biscuit. That little neighborly kindness made me order a pizza right there and then! I ordered White Ranger (cheese and veggie) and walked home 1-1/2 miles home with pizza and dog in tow. Let me add, I had already had dinner by this time but wanted to return Free Pizza's kindness but also support our local folks. TOTALLY WORTH IT!
