When my kids first started here I was excited that they where trying something new and original. After several months of watching them in class I am less than enthusiastic about Free Flow. It's a great idea, but the execution is just meh. My kids spend most of the time standing around or doing what I would just be bored out of mind doing. Pros. Original idea, indoor, price is reasonable. Cons. Website is horrible, billing is ridiculously confusing, staff can be misleading with info over the phone. I think Free Flow could be great if they actually had someone who cares manage it. As a matter of fact I don't think it's actually managed by anyone. read more

This gym is awesome. They officially opened up near the end of March and the minute I walked in and saw their setup I had to sign up. Four weeks later and I'm incredibly glad that I did. I'm currently taking parkour and kung fu classes with a few supplementary classes (flexibility, conditioning) that tie them together really well, so I'm there about five days each week. As often as I'm there I'm not even taking half of what they offer - dance, art, acting, film, tumbling and MMA-style martial arts are all taught as well. The staff is great, everyone is very friendly and the management's main focus is that everyone enjoys themselves and remain safe. The instructors are very knowledgeable in anatomy and kinesiology, so they're happy to offer explanations and detailed advice for specific movements and techniques. While they have a well-padded section of floor for martial arts and tumbling, the staff firmly believes in perfecting technique and progressing at a comfortable pace for real-world improvement, so a lot of the parkour training area is unpadded. Most of the work is also done barefoot in order to perfect technique and strengthen ankles and other necessary joints/muscles for such activity. Overall, Free Flow Academy is an excellent place to learn anything they can teach. I'm thrilled to have become a member so early on and I can't wait to watch it grow. read more

I LOVE this place! A friend of mine convinced me to try it out after hearing about it through a homeschool group. I was very leery and I've never been one to join a traditional gym. After one parkour class, all 4 of my kids were HOOKED. This was a dream place especially for my boys who were just dying to climb all over things and flip into a big foam pit. My kids are taking parkour, flexibility, freerunning and tumbling. They hope to try art and kung fu in the near future. I am taking kettlebell, flexibility and strength/conditioning. The prices are amazing too. We are thrilled with the unlimited family package. You just can't beat it. read more

I just had my son's Nerf gun sleepover birthday party here. The place is a boy's paradise. Tons of things to climb on and hide behind for their Nerf Wars. The party host was awesome. He helped keep the boys in line all night. They have a 60" TV and I was able to hook up our Xbox One to play videos and games throughout the night. Boys slept in sleeping bags on the cushy mats. I brought my camping mattress to watch over the boys and the best part is my house isn't a mess the next day! I was able to bring my own food and coolers to keep the food cool during the night. Came here to support my friends first Muay Thai fight and boy was this place super packed. I don't think I'll ever come back. To watch my friend fight I had to pay $20 to enter and stay in a room full smelly people and it was a hot day. There was very little walking space and kids running around doing stunts. It was very hard to find a spot to hang and watch fights. Parking was hard to find even though it was in a secluded area. It was really hot and I highly recommend them to work on getting AC. read more

Don't do the ariel silks here. The class isn't a class. It's a free for all. There is one teacher who spends most the time teaching her friends or the girls who know more. The kids just get left behind. I've been bringing my kid here for a few months now and she's learned almost nothing. The instructor comes over does a quick move and leaves. They are left to figure it out on their own. I am literally watching 3 ropes with kids on them swinging around and pulling each other. No teaching, no lessons and zero help. If there was another silks place closer I'd go there. read more

Just held a multi child birthday party and everyone had a great time. The Waters Twins are great instructors and the gym was clean and perfect for our three crazy kids and their friends. Don't let the outdoor building fool you. This place is really great if not a bit hard to find. Here is hoping that once settle at this new location, they get the right signage up. read more

Free Flow is the best! The owners are so nice and make you feel rite at home! They have a wide variety of classes with experienced coaches. The facility is always very clean and I love that parking is never a issue. I have been taking the self defense class with our awesome trainer Bob Gagnon who keeps us challenged and motivated every single class! This class is no joke! You will leave feeling stronger every night you go! I don't think I have ever pushed myself this hard my entire life but I can honestly say I am truly addicted. I have learned so much, and everyone I train with is like a second family to me. Whatever class you decide to take here, you will not be disappointed! read more

I love Free Flow. This place is a lot of fun, every time we come we had more fun then we thought we would and get a great workout. My wife and I attend the adult parkour class, my son attends the kids parkour class, and my daughter attends the aerial silks class. We love going and love that we can all go together. There's something for everyone! They even offer free Boot Camp classes now, even for people who've already been here for a while. They're concerned first and foremost about your health and safety. It's like having a personal trainer on a regular gym membership cost. Love this place! read more

Just went there for the first time tonight. Went there for my first crossfit experience and I have to say it was amazing. I've tried some intense workout programs before, but this one is by far my favorite. Despite the intensity, the coaches there did a great job of making sure I was 1.working out at a level of difficulty that was safe but challenging; and 2. Making sure that I didnt sacrifice form as I got tired. I was far from the best there, but never once did I feel like anyone judged me, and in fact everyone was extremely encouraging. I had coaches and people I'd never met pushing me to keep going, giving me tips, and congratulating me when it was all over. Whether you are already into crossfit or you're just starting out, I'd absolutely recommend looking into their crossfot program. Their first class is free (just sign a waiver), and from what I hear (still need to confirm this) their prices for unlimited monthly classes are pretty competitive for around here ($50/month). I can't speak on experience for any of their other classes, but in short their crossfit program has great coaches, a great encouraging atmosphere, and good attention to form and safety. Only downside is its only a small space dedicated to crossfit, but I think that'll change soon. read more

My kids absolutely love this place! The instructors all have a very strong emphasis on safety. While some of the tricks they perform look challenging, the kids have spent numerous hours building the techniques and confidence needed to pull off the stunt. They also have a couple of demo teams who get additional training and opportunities to publicly perform. read more

This place is awesome! The staff are wonderful and you can't beat the price. With your membership you get open gym all week long. My son and husband take classes. Coach Nate is fabulous with the kids and my son has already shown progression in his skills after only a few months. The foam pit is his favorite, but there are so many things to climb on he never stays on one thing too long. They offer so much, from martial arts to parlour to belly dancing. My 7 year old is a little daredevil and loves this place. Staff in general is super nice and very good with kids. The Parkour and Freerunning classes are in high demand though so they can be tough to officially "enroll" in.... However the coaches are very open to adapting their class sizes when it's at all possible. I've yet to be turned away showing up to a "full" class. Can't think of any negatives other than they NEVER answer the phone. read more

My kids had a blast trying out the parkour. They were super friendly and we enjoyed the free introductory class for all five of my children. My daughter complained for the next few days about being so sore from all the muscles that she used. Great experience! Had a birthday party for my kids there on a Saturday night. The price is reasonable but my only issue is the amount of time the kids get to spend there. The parties are booked for 90 minute sessions which seems like a really short time to have some instruction, eat and cut cake. I ended up paying for an additional 30 minutes which worked out better. Overall the trainers were awesome and the kids had a great time. I ended up having almost 40 kids and they were able to manage everyone and all the kids left with a smile on their faces. I would totally recommend this place and my kids are already taking about having their party there again next year. read more

I do not like Gyms, and I do not like pretentious atmosphere. This gym is a family orientated artistic experience where the teachers care deep;y about the growth of the students as well as incorporating something missing form most peoples daily lives. Every day our schools cut back the arts, and sterilize the experience. Free Flow is about incorporating the art of movement be it form Parkour, Kung Fu, acting or visual arts and music into our lives in a constructive way. I love this place, and would go daily if my life schedule allowed it. read more

My children attended Free Flow Academy for 6 months, taking Parkour and Tumbling. They liked it and liked their teachers. Mid March the children no longer wanted to continue since the weather was getting better, they wanted to spend time outdoors. I let the guy at the front desk know and he told me we could put the classes on hold until we wished to resume after summer. He told me I was paid through April 2nd, and we attended all remaining classes. A month after our last class I noted there was another $125 debited out of my checking account. I called and left a message telling them the money needed to be returned to me. Michael called back saying that I could take another month of classes, " and I am sure that will be okay." I called back speaking to Michael saying that I did not want any more classes, I wanted my $125 back. He proceeded to tell me that, "sometimes people try to scam us" but he would talk to the kid I originally spoke with about it and call me back 5/1. I did not hear from him. I left yet another message stating I expected to be refunded and they had 24 hours to assure me that they handled it. 24 hours has passed without any acknowledgement of their error. So in essence be VERY leary when you sign up for the automatic payment. I also question the ethicacy of a business who erroneously takes money from their customers, blames them and makes no attempt to fix their mistake. Jen B. read more

Called free flow after a really bad experience at flip 2 it. Im actually grateful now that things didnt work out at flip 2 it, otherwise I may never have found this place! Everyone at free flow is amazing. My son loves his classes and instructor. They dont have any hidden fees and seem to truly love what they do. This place is more about teaching a love for athletics than the money side of things. And it has really helped with my sons confidence/self esteem. read more

Free Flow Academy is my absolute favorite gym. They have a huge variety of classes with hours for every need. They allow free trials for EVERY class, so you can try parkour, silks, martial arts, tumbling, self defense... etc, etc, etc to see what you really enjoy and what your body is capable of. I started out doing parkour and now do aerial silks as well after watching how much fun it looked and doing the trial class. My biggest suggestion is if you don't like a class, try taking it with a different instructor, or at a different time. I was taking parkour at a less popular time thinking that the smaller class size would allow more individual attention (which is does), but I've found that I greatly enjoy taking a class with a larger group because of all the support you get from your fellow classmates. It feels very empowering to cheer each other on and celebrate accomplishments. See what style works for you! The instructors also do an amazing job of splitting up larger classes into smaller groups after the initial warm-up to focus on the skills of each age range. (I'm an adult and appreciate that we're separate from the younger younger kids and can focus more on technique) All in all, I highly recommend the classes at this gym! read more

This place is huge and offers an amazing variety of class options for kids and adults who are kids at heart! Although I have not had the opportunity to join classes (it's too far across town from where I live to stay consistent), I have attended various performances and workshops. The staff takes their play seriously, and have done an outstanding job keeping students engaged, safe and having fun while developing new skills and improving old ones. Highly recommend! read more
