Vikram is very professional, and at the same time, super easygoing, flexible, adaptable to changes, and makes the effort to get to know you, your vision for the performance, and really delivers. Never once did I feel like it was hard to get a hold of him or that he was annoyed by tweaks to the plan day of. Since we love magic, and my husband is a skeptic and loves sleight of hand, I opted for the mixed package with a bit of sleight of hand and mentalism as well. It was the perfect show for a room full of adults and his energy and tricks were mind blowing. He kept us entertained the entire hour, and even shared some new tricks that he had been working on. We are still trying to figure out how he was able to fool us all - THAT CLOSE. Haha, needless to say, my husband has claimed this, his BEST birthday surprise yet. We look forward to hiring Vikram again for future family/corporate events and highly recommend him!

It's a great idea, but the execution is just meh. My kids spend most of the time standing around or doing what I would just be bored out of mind doing. Pros. Original idea, indoor, price is reasonable. Cons. Website is horrible, billing is ridiculously confusing, staff can be misleading with info over the phone. I think Free Flow could be great if they actually had someone who cares manage it. As a matter of fact I don't think it's actually managed by anyone.

I'm currently taking parkour and kung fu classes with a few supplementary classes (flexibility, conditioning) that tie them together really well, so I'm there about five days each week. As often as I'm there I'm not even taking half of what they offer - dance, art, acting, film, tumbling and MMA-style martial arts are all taught as well. The staff is great, everyone is very friendly and the management's main focus is that everyone enjoys themselves and remain safe. The instructors are very knowledgeable in anatomy and kinesiology, so they're happy to offer explanations and detailed advice for specific movements and techniques. While they have a well-padded section of floor for martial arts and tumbling, the staff firmly believes in perfecting technique and progressing at a comfortable pace for real-world improvement, so a lot of the parkour training area is unpadded. Most of the work is also done barefoot in order to perfect technique and strengthen ankles and other necessary joints/muscles for such activity. Overall, Free Flow Academy is an excellent place to learn anything they can teach. I'm thrilled to have become a member so early on and I can't wait to watch it grow.

I was in Folsom for a Yelp Elite event and decided to explore historic Sutter Street afterward. I…read moresaw a large gathering of people at Zittel Family Amphitheater and heard a loudspeaker, so I went to take a look, hoping for live music. Even better, I had arrived just in time for a free "Shakespeare in the Park" performance of Romeo & Juliet! The production is put on by Take Note Troupe (TNT), a nonprofit community theater organization for young people. A kind family with two teenagers in the play allowed me to sit by them and offered me one of their lawn chairs. The mother had been there reserving seats since 4 PM, so I really lucked out! The family shared the history of TNT and its participants. Two homeschooled teens asked their mothers to them Shakespeare, and this eventually led to the birth of this community Shakespeare in the Park. 10th graders to recent high school graduates were allowed to audition for this first-time Shakespearean tragedy choice. Usually, a Shakespearean comedy is picked. Most of the participants are from Roseville, and rehearsals are also in Roseville. However, students from as far as Auburn and Galt will participate as well. As I wasn't expecting to watch an outdoor performance, I wasn't prepared to be outside for hours. The first half was nearly 1.5 hours. I didn't bring water, a jacket, or a blanket. After the sun goes down and with the location near Lake Natoma, the temperature becomes cool and breezy. The Folsom amphitheater also didn't seem to have many public restrooms, so I decided to leave at intermission. I had been out since 3 PM, so I was getting tired. I would have stayed for the full performance had I been prepared. The modernized Romeo & Juliet performance was fun. I liked the group dance performances set to upbeat music. Juliet was impressive with her elocution. The balcony scene didn't look or feel right to me; I think I wanted more romance and eye contact. Some characters, like the nurse and the impulsive, easily offended young men involved in the fights, came across as comical or foolish, which I never realized before. I appreciated the costume color coding of the Montagues (blue) and the Capulets (gold). Because I didn't know the cast, I followed along with script. I noticed some omissions. Not sure if that was intentional, perhaps to keep the play shorter or more PG. Or perhaps people forgot their some of their lines? I doubt most people would notice. Here are the remaining Romeo & Juliet performances: https://jaimehughes.com/takenotetroupe/events/ Tue 6/6/23 Zittel Family Amphitheater in Folsom 7:30 PM to 10 PM Wed 6/7/23 Zittel Family Amphitheater in Folsom 7:30 PM to 10 PM Thu 6/8/23 Quarry Park Amphitheater in Rocklin 7:30 PM to 10 PM Fri 6/9/23 Quarry Park Amphitheater in Rocklin 7:30 PM to 10 PM Sat 6/10/23 Quarry Park Amphitheater in Rocklin 7:30 PM to 10 PM Many thanks to Take Note Troupe for the lovely Monday evening entertainment! 15th May, 2026, Norah Jones concert…read more It's a very nice *venue* for a Norah Jones concert, not too big but not too small, either. Her voice reverberated perfectly, her skills on the piano and guitars were exceptionally impressive, her band had good chemistry with her. For a packed arena, the climate was just right. The cocktails we bought inside need a little work, the staff members we encountered were all friendly, polite, respectful and friendly. The only problem we had, we as in us and the people nearby, was this two women who probably only knew and appreciated a few of Ms. Jones' songs. They were talkative and loud about it, if they didn't know the song that was being sung, they talked yelling at one another, went to their smartphones to check on whatever it was that was more important than the show, and was just lacking in the event's etiquette. There was a lady in front of them that looked behind her a few times and I can tell by her face that she was clearly annoyed. Along came staff and nicely told the ladies to be more respectful to the other people. I give the staff thumbs up for this because the two could have been escorted out without warning. I noticed that there were no restrooms nearby. The closest ones are in the lobby. It'd be too far for less mobile people. The restrooms were immaculately clean. I liked the overall experience and I believe that if there's another performer we'd like to see, we wouldn't hesitate to be there.

Nice indoor concert venue and there isn't really a bad seat even up at the second level or balcony. Seated at floor level section 101 so I had a cool close view of the stage and performers. Audio at this Freestyle concert was a bit off as they had the bass cranked up at a high level. I understand they want the audience to feel the bass but it was just too high. Compared to the Janet Jackson concert, her sound manager did a great job. Still it was a fun concert with several performers. Sweet Sensation (Betty Dee solo) Lisette Melendez George Lamond Cynthia Johnny O Lisa Lisa Stevie B I was very disappointed Will To Power was a scratch booooo There were plenty of staff guiding guests to seat locations as well as security to keep me in check LMAO j/k Cost for alcoholic drinks was standard. The bartenders were pretty cool played along with the jokes haha A couple of ladies seating next to me were cool too, yelling hella loud, dancing and good conversations (filthier minds than me hahaha). Then after the concert hungout at the casino for a lil bit played slot machines and at blackjack table. Until the next concert.
