All day long. This is the place to go. I don't know why anyone goes to a dealer. My Toyota dealer…read more(doesn't matter which because they all stink equally) during my free routine service told me I needed new tires and quoted me a high number. Went to Labarges. They told my nope. My tires were good. Another routine service. The dealer said I needed new brakes. Labarges agreed, but half as expensive. Most recently. My fan was making a weird noise so I thought they might cover the repair since I was at 40k miles, just outside the warranty of course. They also noticed my state inspection was overdue. Had to pay the dealer a $189 "diagnostic fee" to discover it was just acorns clogging a filter so I needed a need filter and of courses the acorns removed. $21 for state inspection which is failed because I didn't realize this, but I had two chipped taillights (my daughter is 17 and I'll leave it at that) so I'm $250 into the dealer and they tell me it's another $700+ to repair the taillights. So I stop at Labarges. They tell me to go to a junk yard or eBay and order a left inner and a right outer tail light and they'll pop them in for me. $155 on eBay brand new. And I happened to have a slow leak so they said that the sensor is starting to go, it he cleaned it up, but the aluminum sensors are garbage so they wanted me I'll likely need to replace them eventually. Charge to replace the headlights, cleanup sensor, and repair slow leak. $50 because it took them 30 minutes to do all that work. They charge you for the time they spend. A novel thought no? For anyone looking for a mechanic, why go anywhere else? They saved me over $1,000 on my most recent visits from what the dealer wanted to charge me.

About 2 weeks later the car developed an oil leak from the area of the crankshaft seal and or the timing cover as well as the front valve cover gasket, all of which he had to change. I paid James 900 dollars cash and I supplied the parts needed to do the job. Now after 2 weeks of text messages and 2 or 3 phone calls to my place of employment, James said he has not forgot about me. I have now taken the vehicle to another mechanic for the repairs. This review is not about Capital Tech itself but the mechanic. I am expecting these repairs to cost another 300 to 500 dollars on top of the almost 1600 parts and labor already spent. I really appreciate that they fit me in at the last minute shortly before they closed on Saturday of a holiday weekend, as well as the fact that they didn't try to upsell me the most expensive tire they had in stock. I also appreciate the fact that they took the time to talk me through a plan, saying that I could use the tire I Purchased today as the spare since it will have about 25,000 less miles on it than the others when I replace all four. I was specifically asked which tire I would like and verified it with the worker multiple times, he then gave me a cost estimate and told me it would take 90 minutes to complete this. I waited 2 and a half hours for my car service to be completed and when I received the bill, it was $130 over the estimate he gave me initially. Additionally, the worker claimed that I requested more expensive tires than I actually did. I also saw these employees do the same thing to another customer. They swindled her as well, and feigned ignorance. The whole interaction was entirely shady and indicative of incompetence and a failure to hire ethical employees.

I brought that to his attention again he told me to leave or he'd call the police. I merely upgraded tires to be safe and it was costly to do so. I feel not only me and my kids safety but the community's was also put at risk. The cost of being held responsible for fixing their mistake will be as costly as the purchase of four tires.
