This office use to be great but seems to have grown bigger than they can manage. Always new CPNP's…read more Dr. Lee was great but can never get an appointment with him. It is very difficult to get appointments and good luck getting a nurse to respond to questions you might have. We had to call numerous times to get someone live on the phone. The women was demanding my 2 yr old daughter wear a mask. This has already been proven ineffective, so we were denied medical attention. The receptionist also continued to argue with me about all the issue were we having vs. listening to me and trying to help and get us to were we needed to be...healthy and happy.

WOW! We just moved to the area last month and we quickly started looking for a great pediatrician…read morefor our 5 month old. After 1 disastrous visit to a different doctor, a friend recommended Dr. Lee. It was worth the drive out to New Market to see him. Totally worth it! Great experience, and now we have a great doctor to rely on for years to come. Pros: --AMAZING staff in the front office - they are so kind and friendly. What a breathe of fresh air! We were waiting for our new insurance cards and they were helpful and took the lead with getting it all sorted out. --AMAZING nurses - really liked our nurse, wish I could remember her name! --Small office - we only saw one other person who was on the way out --No wait time - we didn't even finish the paperwork before we were being called back to be seen --Clean - it was such a relief to see the nurse put a fresh new disposable pad on the scale before weighing by daughter. We've been to other offices that do not do this (but instead reuse old pads), and it felt like they were really trying to keep the office clean and germ free --Dr. Lee! - The best part of all. Dr. Lee is knowledgable, professional, and very kind. He allotted extra time for our visit since I was a new client. He listened to all our issues and did not seem in a hurry to get out the door. He gave practical and helpful advice for sleeping and feeding and other concerns. I really appreciated the way he talked about both biology and behavior when discussing these issues. We've only had one visit, but I will definitely repost after a few more. We plan on going to Dr. Lee for years to come! So thankful to have found such a great office and great doctor! --Helpful website Cons: --Really can't come up with anything. I'll add to this post if concerns arise.

We recently moved to the area and were looking for a pediatrician. After doing some Google…read moresearches, we chose this practice based solely on their high review ratings. We assumed they must be good--but we couldn't have been more wrong. I should have used Yelp. It honestly makes me wonder how they have such stellar reviews on Google. Do they write their own? Do they incentivize people to leave glowing feedback? Is the sky blue? Too many questions, too few answers. The doctor was acceptable--she was decent, but nothing exceptional. The real issue was the front desk. Absolutely horrendous with capital bold H. They act like they're there because they have to be, not because they care. They require records from your previous provider and refuse to see your child without them. You send the paperwork under the false impression that your child will be cared for by a quality pediatric office. Instead, they mishandle the documents and botch the appointment scheduling. One issue after another. Honestly, I won't even waste more words on them. In short: if you're already an established patient, maybe it's fine. But if you're new and looking for a pediatrician--look elsewhere. You will save your sanity and thank me later.

Where do i even start..from the very beginning even before my kids came in i had already been…read moreexperiencing issues with this place. They new patient registration process is a literal nightmare. Theres so much run around for no good reason. My old pediatricians had to send and resend and resend my daughter's records before they finally said they received it. They are not on top of managing their faxes. After over two months of this back and forth, they tell me they cant get my daughter signed up unless i register my other daughter too. We just relocated to the area so i was still in a probationary period with my job. Our first few visits were gonna be out of pocket so i didnt feel the need to get my other daughter seen if she wasn't needing an appointment. After telling whoever i spoke to from this office, they said they'd have to "check if that's allowed." Like what do you mean?? You're gonna force us into a doctors appointment for my other child who is completely fine before i can get my other daughter seen who wasn't okay at all? Because the registration was SUCH a process, even though i really wanted to go elsewhere i decided to stick to it and just get her seen. We finally did the appointment, paid in full at check out then a month and a half later, i get a text from the office saying we have a balance due. How on earth is that possible if they wouldnt have let us walk out of that appointment if we didnt pay in full? We came back in for another sick visit today and after talking to the front desk and billing they said they forgot to add 2 codes to our last visit. If that's the case, why are we responsible??? I manage a dental practice, i know it's different but if i forgot to add 2 codes to a patient's visit i CANNOT bill them months later if it was a miss on our end. It would simply need to be written off. For the record, it was $25. It wasn't about the amount it's moreso about the patient experience and everything that had already happened leading up to this, they still decided not to write it off and if we're already paying out of pocket for everything the least they could've done to make things right to write off $25. Then they later tell us that the other codes weren't right either and it shouldve been even more so they basically told us they are pretty incompetent in general which shouldn't be my problem. During the actual appointment the doctor barely even looked at our daughter, her name was dr.dev or something. She was also coughing during the appointment which was concerning... i don't know i just would not recommend this place. Please go somewhere else if you want a pediatric office that actually cares.

This is the group you want to be with. The people leaving negative reviews about this practice…read moreclearly haven't experienced the kind of care you receive at a larger, impersonal office. Our children have been patients at two of the "top-rated" pediatricians as we've moved over the years--and this is the only practice where you're truly treated as a person, not just a number. If you're looking for speed and convenience, you can always go to an assembly-line pediatrician. But if you want a true care team--literally two doctors who will know your children by name, provide thoughtful and individualized treatment, and actually keep you informed--this is the place for you. When I first called, Anastasia let me know they're a smaller practice. So yes, I may wait on hold for a couple minutes while they're helping another patient--but I'll take that any day over the rushed, impersonal care we've experienced elsewhere. At the other offices, they'd order multiple bacterial infection tests based only on symptoms I described over the phone--without even seeing my children. That's not care--that's just billing insurance as quickly as possible. Sky Valley is the complete opposite. Here, they take the time to listen, assess thoughtfully, and treat your family like their own.

We have been seeing Dr Alcuri for almost 7 years now. I have four children. When I first moved to…read moreFrederick I went to a Pediatricians Office that had many Drs. I always felt like a cow being herded through a slaughter yard when going to that office. Each time having to explain my children's preexisting conditions to the Dr available to take our appointment. Many times this led to undue worries on my part because they did not have a one-on-one history with my child who had an extensive history and therefore they chose to be overly cautious with treatments. As a result of them not individually following her care my time and money was wasted and I was always worried. I had reservations about going to a single Dr because I would loose the appointment availability (weekends) the office of many Pediatricians offered. I can now say it was the best decision I made in caring for my children. I never had to brief Dr Alcuri on my children's preexisting issues. I never had to wait in the lobby for more than five minutes. I could almost always be seen same day even when calling on a Monday morning. If it was the weekend, I could call the after hours line and Dr Alcuri would call me back at any time of the night and advise me on what to do. Bottom line, having a dedicated and competent Dr outweighed having the convenience of more office hours. We are thankful for his Practice and his wonderful care taking skills.
