My husband and I started the process to upgrade from our four door to an SUV knowing it may take time, which we had, but we wanted to make the change before our first child arrived in a few months. With that in mind, we needed to be careful of the numbers and be aware of any fees we had to plan for. My husband found a car he liked very quickly and got in touch with the dealership and started working with Rick at  Frederick Chevrolet of Lebanon. Rick has been amazing during the whole process. He has been polite, honest, upfront, and trustworthy. He stuck to everything he told us, he made sure to detail everything out, and even became a great source of advice during the process. My husband was calling him, emailing, and even texting quite regularly and Rick was right there to answer every question fast and with every bit of information right up front. Mike stepped in on the finance side to help us work the numbers, understand the financing options, and get to a final deal. Not just any deal, but the best choice for us. He was knowledgeable, kind, and worked hard as we were trying to get the trade done quickly once we settled on a car. Mike worked with us very swiftly like Rick did, even making sure to check things over and get back to us while, I'm sure, taking care of plenty of other things. You can tell both Rick and Mike are smart, know what they are doing, and want their customers to be happy with the process and purchase. Day of, both gentlemen greeted us and helped us through the whole process. They stuck to their word on every step and made it seamless. There were no questions left unanswered, no fees slipped in, and no issues along the way other than our last questions- which they made sure to answer. The deal went smoothly and everything worked out exactly as they had communicated to us throughout. I am so impressed! We could not have had a better experience than working with Rick and Mike. When we decide to trade in my car, down the road, we will be going right back to Rick and Mike. There is a lot to say for being able to know you are in good hands. They have our utmost trust and respect. read more

I am frustrated with the lack of accountability and radio silence from this dealership's management team. If you are doing a lease trade-in here, please learn from my experience: do your due diligence and get every single detail in writing before signing. I traded in a GM lease early to get into a new vehicle, a typical pull-ahead trade, and we discussed getting my remaining final payments covered during the deal. Because it was a weekend, the staff claimed they couldn't get in touch with GM Financial to confirm how to handle it and told me to follow up. Here is where the entire process fell apart: * GM Financial stated to me that the dealership handles lease pull-ahead payments. However, two months after driving off the lot, I was hit with a final $1,500+ invoice from the financial institution. * When I brought this bill to my salesman, the runaround and confusion began. I received text messages with conflicting info, including claims that management "had never heard of such a thing" and that they were trying to contact a corporate rep. * After weeks of getting nothing but empty reassurances via text, I escalated the issue directly to the General Manager and the Owner. The GM explicitly promised he would look into it and call me back by the following week. He never called. A follow-up call to the receptionist (who assured me he would call right back) went completely ignored. Now, I am stuck holding a major bill because this dealership refuses to answer emails, return phone calls, or help clear up the confusion caused by their own staff. Once they have your signature on the dotted line, they might ghost you. read more

0 stars if I could. I sent Amy Troutman referrals and never received the $400 owed to me. It has been over a month and nothing. I called the dealership and the Sales Manager brushed me off, saying it was "a personal matter" between me and Amy. Wrong. It is the dealership's referral program which means it is supposed to come from them, not an individual salesperson. Instead of handling it, he got smart with me and claimed he was "too busy." Too busy to deal with a customer being cheated? That says it all. If they cannot even honor their own referral program, how can you trust them with something as big as buying a car? Do not go to Frederick Chevrolet unless you want to get played. read more

Been sitting in waiting room for over 2 hours now for an oil change. I know flat rate time is an hour at most. Either someone is losing money or my vehicle is being held for ransom read more

worst costumer service the guy at the service center us really rude took my truck in to get a diagnosis for the power steering failing they said it was something with the spark plugs charged me 1500 and didn't even do anything about the power steering picked up the truck same problem and called them and they want to charge me for another diagnostic read more

The salesman was awesome and the sale was easy, but the finance department did not pay off my old loan for over 25 days and it made my payment late which effected my credit score by 75 points. I have never been late before. Several calls to the dealership got no results. read more

The sales and service people are excellent! The Equinox I leased 3 years ago was fun to drive. I recently bought the 2025 model and am impressed by all the features. It is worth the time and effort to look through the inventory of new and used cars they offer. I highly recommend this business! read more

Frederick Chevrolet has always been very responsive to my needs and questions. I have been going to them for many years and they always seem to take pride in the relationships they build. I trust that they are always looking out for my best interest and will help with anything they can. The staff in sales and service are friendly and helpful. I have never- in 8 years or more- had a bad experience ! Thanks ! read more

Had a chance to swing by this dealership to see what was new, as my wife is in the market. I met with Mike Briseno, who was absolutely amazing. He was able to rattle off all the necessary information I needed while we were in the lot looking around. He went as far to follow up with me sending me specs and photos of the interior of the vehicle I was interested in. A veteran owned and operated company here, they will certainly get my business when I am ready to buy. read more

My time at Frederick Chevrolet has been by far the worst, most dishonorable, rude car buying experience I have even encountered. It seems they are using the great reputation of the previous owner to try and hide the enormous amounts of snake oil they are selling. They want your money...and as soon as they get it...see ya later. Im not sure any of them have heard of customer service. They sold me practically a totaled car, tried to cover it up...then had the audacity to tell me that i should be grateful. read more

I called and asked about their Corvette C 8 and they were horrible to deal with. They're basically going to see who they can charge the most money to and sell the car to them. They have no integrity to gain new customers, only to see how much they can make in profit. I fully understand the C8 is a hot commodity, but put a price on the car and allow the buyer to buy the car instead of wasting peoples time (yours and mine). If you're not going to sell the car then say that at first contact, don't transfer around to different people and then the manager who was of no help either. I will take my purchase elsewhere. read more

What a joke Steve G. (Finance) and Cheri K. (Sales) are! I purchase new and used cars every 2-3 years and I have never experienced such a shit show as I did in attempting to purchase a BMW X1. Asked for me paystubs and insurance twice in less than 24 hours. Contacted to me confirm financing was secured for the purchase and quoted the terms, kept pushing for a delivery confirmation day and time and while in transit to the dealership for confirmed delivery, again asked for the same documents mentioned above and advised financing was in fact not set in stone. Wasted 3 days working with these incompetent folks! Find a professional sales and finance team elsewhere. read more

Working with Frederick has been the most stress-free car buying experience I have had. They had the vehicle I wanted for the best price in the area, and there was no pressure during the buying experience. I started the application process online and everything was organized and ready for me when I arrived for my appointment. I highly recommend this dealership, especially if you don't like being "sold." I like to do all my research beforehand so I am prepared, and Frederick made me feel very comfortable through the whole process. read more

****UPDATE**** We purchased the truck, the sales manager stated that the truck was in an accident but EVERYTHING WAS FIXED!!! Here we are a year later we took the truck to a dealership near us to find out what this clunking noise was when we make a sharp right turn and sometimes a left sharp turn. This dealership said you need to take it back to where you got it from as it was in a previous accident and the steering column to the steering box was bent causing the noise. The frame that was replaced was not done correctly and the dealership I went to today Porter Chevrolet on Cleveland Ave in Delaware fixed that. We call this dealership where we got the truck from and they said there was nothing they could do to fix the steering column where it is bent. They claim to have complete costumer satisfaction and being a certified used vehicle dealer. which is exactly what they are not! Now we have to pay over $2,000 for something they said was fixed. If you have to get a use vehicle from here you better take it to a third party shop to get checked before you purchase it because these people are going to rip you off. I WON'T RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. read more

One of the worst dealerships I have ever visited. Test drove a car and heard a little noise in the back. I liked the car and asked the salesperson if they could check it out. The response back was NO. All the cars were already checked and are fine. He told me at that price someone will buy it. What kind of dealer is this? You could do better on Craigslist. DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!!! read more

Got me in right away. Had a leaking tire with nail inside the wall. Had it done in less than an hour but charged more than the quoted price. When questioned, he adjusted the price to $6 over the quote instead of $60! Very nice staff. Will return. read more

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! WILL NEVER BUY FROM THEM AGAIN!! Wife was in a car accident November 2019 and car was totaled, so we had to find a replacement vehicle in a short time and ended up at Frederick's in Lebanon which is quite a drive for us since we live in southern York county...over an hour one way. Found a used 2019 Kia Sorrento that was in our price range, took it for a ride, liked it, but asked about the tires which looked pretty worn. First salesman told us they would be replaced so after all the paperwork and extra money for a top of the line extended warranty plan, days later we were told it had been gone over in the service dept. and was ready to go! No new tires and second salesperson said that they don't put new tires on a used vehicle...never, because they are selling it to us at the lowest price anywhere! After having it a day or two, we needed to buy new windshield wipers, then noticed the oil change sticker said it was overdue for a oil and filter change, so there is more money out of pocket! The mechanic doing the oil change said...you are going to need to buy new tires for this vehicle because it won't pass inspection. Sure enough when taking it for inspection, it needed four new tires!!! Frederick would do nothing!!! So just a very short time after having this car, we shelled out over $700 for things that should have been done at the dealership, but remember they sell things cheaper than anyone...hahaha! Pre-certified my butt!!!! Forward to recently...heading to the beach in October 2021, the Kia started to stall and wouldn't accelerate, scary on a four hour trip!!! Called Frederick's and need to take it to their dealership in Lebanon, then Ladd Hansford Kia would do the repairs. Took a long time to find out if the original warranty would cover it or extended warranty would need to be used. Numerous calls made to Ladd-Hansford with no responses back and dealing with the warranty guy at Frederick's was frustrating. Also, after finding out that the protective shield under the car to protect the engine, catalytic converter, etc. was missing and the vehicle had not been wrecked to have it fall off, we asked Frederick's if they could put a new shield on the car and was told NO since we had the car almost two years, they would not spend the $200 to put it on, so much for customer service and warranties!!! Finally after 2 1/2 weeks we drove over to Lebanon to pick up our car, and the work was on a Frederick's service letterhead which was shady because they didn't do the work! Contacted Ladd-Hansford to send me a copy of the original service billing for my records! Frederick's is not customer service oriented at all, no keep our customers happy attitude, making sure vehicles are correctly serviced before customer taking delivery and in our eyes shady........SO LOOK ELSEWHERE TO GET A GREAT DEAL!! read more

Want to give a zero. They suck when it comes to service and lie. Wont stop sending me junk mail. And the staff is rude. The owner wanted to make it better with car washes. read more

We bought a brand new chevy spark in June. After 208 miles on it a lady ran a stop sign and hit us. We thought we would take it back to them to fix. Insurance paid for it to get fixed and we were in our way. Well it turns out they put bald tires on the brand new car they sold us. We just spent over 15000 and this is how they treat us. Stay away. They scam. The car only had 208 miles when we were hit and 3000 when we got the service from a chevy dealer here in New York. They told us the last place ripped us off because tires dont go bald in 3000 miles. read more

Had a great experience at Frederick Chevrolet. Mike made my car buying process enjoyable and stress free

I've been visiting this dealership for a little over a year now with my certified Sonic and so far the service is what I would call "good". The parts dept is kind of hidden away and the waiting room is not what I would call warm and inviting like a few really nice waiting rooms that I've been in with other brands like for example "Keller Ford" In Lebanon county. At Keller they even have free snacks and fruit for its customers, and this Chevy dealer could put some classic Chevy Memorabilia on the walls and create some kind of "car" atmosphere! read more

These guys are truly artists in the automotive business! I had financial issues with my previous car, and was despairing of what to do, but George Kessler and Chuck Allwein got me into my favorite Equinox, an excellent 2017, and got the auto loan down to a very good rate that I can handle, including a 6 year 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty. The person who met me when I dropped off my car was very helpful, made certain she had all my correct contact info and why I had car in the shop. They are by far the worst dealer I've dealt with ever. Poor customer service and service department. Got a car from them and from day 3 the brakes started to squell. They said nothing wrong just pads. Took to another dealer pads were worn and junky. They just didn't want to pay for it since I just bought car from them. WILL NEVER EVER GO TO THEM AGAIN NOT EVEN FOR A FREE CAR WASH BY THE HAWAIIAN TROPIC MODELS. read more

Friendly and courteous staff. Provided a loaner car while mine was being serviced. Best dealership around!

Great dealership! Excellent employees! Always treated courteously!

in June 2015 I purched a 2013 Chevy Impala from Fredericks in Hershey, I ask about a car fax and told there were no accidents against it. I walked out because we could not get down to the payment I wanted. A few minutes after I was home they called and said they can get the payment I wanted again my fault I did not ask how they got me to the payment I wanted. On Saturday I took my 2013 Chevy Impala excellent condition to Klick Lewis to trade on a Buick. Imag ine my surprise when I found out that my car had an accident reported on it in 2014, it decreased my trade value by about $5000.00 dollars. I could not trade. When I got home I called the lending institution and found out instead of Fredericks coming down on their price or upping my trade they pushed the loan up to 75 months I still have 5 years to pay on a car I am so upside down in, and it is my fault from thinking they were honest, and had morals I will not be doing business with Fredericks again and if anyone out there does ask all the right questions because they will not offer any answers. read more
