He also asked another patient to be kind enough to show me her results ( breast aug) Which looked perfect. I was very happy with outcome after and had no problems in years following. Do not use Dr. Corbin. Go some place else. This man is rude and unethical. He cares about getting payment, not about patient outcome. I went in for a lift, we discussed it during each of my 4 appointments prior surgery. Also, it was my choice to either use my current implants or purchase new ones. At my last appointment, two days prior surgery, I made the decision to have smaller implants put in, so I paid an additional $1,200. One week after surgery I go back in to see Corbin to get bandages off and I noticed I did not have the lift. I asked him about it and he said stop complaining, you can't see results yet. At that moment I knew he did not do what I paid for. He then told me I need to buy this tape to reduce the appearance of the scars which I did. I once again asked about the procedure trying to understand how my lift is involved and he said we can discuss that next appointment when the swelling is gone. Six months later, at my check up apt. I asked about my lift and he said he put a stitch in. I asked why I did not get the lift I paid to have and he said because that would leave scars. I said I understood that as that is what I came here for. He stated I look fine and should be happy. I reminded him this is my body, my choice, my money and my call. He then took pics and compared them to prior surgery pics, and since pics don't lie, he then admitted he screwed up on my surgery. He did not do the lift and would redo it at no cost. Told me come back in six months and he'd redo the surgery at twelve months. Six months later, I go to discuss the no cost redo surgery Corbin committed to do since he botched my surgery and he conveniently had no memory of this conversation, but he did have an invoice for $6,500 already created in my file that he wanted me to now pay. I paid $9,000 for the original surgery and now he wants an additional $6,500 from me to fix his screw up.?. My boyfriend was with me at every apt. and during one visit told Corbin to stop talking over me and to listen to what I am saying. I asked him to get the before and after pics we looked at during my last visit when he admitted to screwing up and he would not. He refused to bring them in and said I was originally there for a preventative surgery which is a bold face lie. This man has a problem with listening to what the patient wants, if you try to say something he rudely gets louder to talk over you, if a surgical revision is warranted due to his error, he will not support or amend it on his dime, you will be required to pay for an additional surgery with him, he has no morals or integrity therefore he will not commit to making things right, he will just lie about doing so and then present you with an invoice. However, if you express he did anything wrong or didn't do what you paid for, he will walk away and ignore you which I am now finding out he has not only done to me but to many other women as well. I asked him several times to be fair about this and it just falls on deaf ears. Corbin did not provide the lift surgery I paid for and won't take any ownership or action to make things right. He won't even return my call. I feel ripped off by Corbin. I fulfilled my commitment when I completed the pre surgery requirements and paid the $9,000 surgery fee. Corbin failed to meet the single obligation he stated and committed to do and has since run from addressing it and now refusing to provide me a complete copy of my medical file I'm entitled to. I also called the office after all of this and left a message with one of the girls asking him to give me a call, and he couldn't even do that. This office is not committed to patient satisfaction. To sum up, this man is not trust worthy, he is rude and very forgetful, he is not committed to patient satisfaction, has zero integrity and his bedside manners are way below par. read more

This doctor is not honest. 17 years ago, he talked me into a chin implant. In his office, he showed me a small, single implant and I thought that's what I was getting. 17 years later, when I decide to remove the implant because I was having jaw pain, I find out that he actually divided a long implant in half, and that he put in an implant that went around my jaw. Had I known this is what he was going to do, I would not have consented to it at all. The doctor who took out the implant also said I had a crack in my jaw because the implants were not placed evenly and were too heavy. I also had weird bone growth around the implant, which had to be chipped away. The office contacted me and said the had told me about the type of implant I was getting, but my mother was with me during the consultation sand remembers exactly the same thing--that he showed us a very small implant, which is why we decided to go ahead with the procedure. I do not think two people can have the same "wrong" memory, and he certainly never said he was going to divide it in half neither before or after the procedure. I also was not informed of the side effects--grinding my teeth, jaw pain, weird bone growth and the implant pressing on my jaw bone. Do not trust this doctor, avoid implants, and if you have to get one, go to a face surgeon. Also, the whole idea that silicone is a safe material to put in your body is false. Go to the "breast implant illness" website and do your research. Do not endanger your health. Also, in 2015, I went back to him because I wanted to remove the implant, and he gave me wrong information--that I would look much worse if I removed the implant years later, or that it was very hard to remove. Both pieces of this info were wrong--I look fine, and a skilled surgeon CAN safely remove them. You just have to go to a SKILLED face surgeon. Had he not dissuaded me back in 2015, I would have removed this horrible thing earlier. read more

I came in a few months ago, nervous and excited, to get more information on getting a breast augmentation. Upon my arrival I was told to fill out forms etc, the normal process, and to wait til the doctor was ready. I was escorted into a room with the assistant and was told to wait for the doctor. Dr Corbin then came in and made no introduction to himself. I was then told to undress etc. He made no attempt to make me feel comfortable it was strictly business. After measuring my breast he walked out and told his assistant to go over sizing with me. There was literally no conversation! His assistant was just as cold and offered no guidance what so ever as it should be " my choice not hers" . This was DEFINITELY not a warm/welcoming experience to have when getting a consultation for your dream surgery and putting down 15k. I took some time to calm down and called this morning to get some more info. The phone was answered by " Alicia" ? I said "Hello!" And started asking a simple question... I was responded by " NO, I don't care what insurance you have, we don't take it"... I don't care if a question is dumb to them no patient should feel like they can't ask a question. Well, I cant beleive Im gonna put i a review for my plastic surgeon. So several years ago, I got a boob job from Dr. Corbin. I had done about a year of research, and was researching all different doctors when I stumbled across him. He has many awards and been on tv, done celebs, blah blah blah... I decided to go for a consult. I instantly knew he was the doc for me. After meeting with about 10 other surgeons, I just knew. When I called back to schedule the actual surgery, they said the had a cancellation and was open the next week, which was less than 7 days away. I was shocked as I wasnt fully prepared yet. But I agreed since they said they would discount it because I was being rushed. So they gave me a bunch of vitamins to take before and after the surgery. Honestly, people scared me shitless sayign it was going to be so painful afterward. But I did not. I had discomfort the first couple of days, but by the third day, i was out and about again. The most difficult task was to find a doctor that had expertise in both areas (especially with an "ethnic nose"). Many doctors had an impressive background and years of experience. Dr. Corbin is amazing. I can't believe he has any bad reviews. I think people expect magic when they get a breast augmentation. They can work some miracles, but it just doesn't happen for everyone. These girls that go in with pictures saying "I WANT THIS!" are setting themselves up for failure. They work with what you have. Your breasts will look like an improved version of what you had before. But now about me....haha. I am 2 months in and feel like a different person. They're smooth and natural looking. No one has called me out..they just say...hmm..those got a bit bigger, and scratch their head as they walk away. He didn't steer me to a bigger size, like I hear a lot do. He seems to be a man that prefers natural look, right up my alley. He was blunt and to the point. His assistant (?) Kristen, who is amazing on her own, said some people are put off by his New Yorker attitude..I guess she read yelp. Give me a break. The guy is just so good he doesn't care to schmooze you. I liked that. It all felt real. He had a real take it or leave it attitude. My mother and I are like that and HATE feeling like someone is trying to sell themselves, not their work. 3 days post op and I have to say I'm doing great the hardest thing for me the past three days was the migraine from being put to sleep so be aware it's a thing I even called dr Corbin and he said for me to make sure I'm taking really deep breath ( listen to that part it helps) and he was nice about my midnight phone call day two I took a shower and my boobs look amazing there is one tiny bruise that's a light color which is healing I have a little swelling very little and I feel great still following orders about keeping my arms down but from what friends told me I am doing really well and am so happy with the results during surgery my nurse was amazing so was the anesthesiologist when I woke up she was very accommodating and was very on point with giving me proper pain meds etc I would send anyone there way read more

I went in to see him and he had me step on a scale and made a rude and degrading comment to me.. He said" wow, your about double my weight" Almost 6 years later, I Still have that in my memory. He then proceeded to talk about my facial acne which was not the purpose of my visit..(keep in mind i am still today very embarrassed of my acne) He said Have you tried washing your face? Dr. Frederic Corbin botched my breast. He left my breast sagging down, uneven, nipples in different directions, and one breast is way bigger than the other. I tried to asked Dr. Corbin but he would not listen, would not answer my questions, and has a bad attitude, he (Dr. Corbin) gets irritated yelling "Slow down! Slow down!", but still would not answer, nor help me. On the day of surgery after I awaken from the surgical table Dr. Corbin was not there at all to let me know everything went ok, but he was in his office as I left which is bad for a doctor practice not to see his patient before they go home. Most doctors come back into the room before their patients are sent home, reassuring them everything is ok. Let me first say that I had planned to go on three consultations, and Dr Corbin was my first. They ask you if you're going to any other consultations. I think the whole thing about having a cancellation, and if you fill the date, you can get a discounted price is a ploy to get you to book with them ASAP, which I did. They told me they had a cancellation, then later when my mom went in for a consult, they gave her the same schpiel. Dr Corbin has two offices. One in Brea, one in Beverly Hills. Needless to say, the one in Beverly Hills is MUCH nicer, but they do all of the surgery at the Brea office. All of the women that work for Dr Corbin are very very nice and helpful, and you really deal with them MUCH more often that you do Dr Corbin. Which might be a good thing... In my experience with Dr Corbin, he seemed very brusque, and rather rushed every time I spoke to him, and sometimes had a poor attitude/demeanor. At my consultation, Dee, the patient coordinator, went over the different types of implants and incision placements, along with the risks and complications. After all of that, Dr Corbin came in to measure me, and tell me what my options were. I asked a question that I think is typical of one that EVERY woman about to get breast augmentation asks - about size. "For my frame, how big do you think I can go?" He just told me to try on the sample sizes. Having thoroughly researched it, I had very few questions for him, and so we spent maybe 5 minutes together. I figured he'd spend more time with me at the pre-op. So I picked a size with Dee, and later doubted my choice and wanted to change it to a larger size. Having read online about BWD measurements and how you shouldn't go over them, I was worried because the new size I wanted exceeded my measurement by 1.1cm. I wanted to make sure that this was okay, and I wouldn't have any problems because of it or anything. I went to my pre-op, and didn't see Dr Corbin at all. It was another nice woman that I dealt with. She didn't seem to get my question, and maybe I phrased it poorly. She called Dr Corbin in, and he seemed irritated to have been bothered. Honestly, he acted like a bit of a dick. She told him I had a question about my size. He walked in and in an annoyed tone said, "Let me see your breasts." Then he opened my folder, looked at the size I had originally picked (without his help), and said, "Yes, that will be good." I said, "Well, I wanted to go up from that to this..." It's not quite WHAT he said as the tone of voice and manner in which he said it. When I left, I was pretty upset to have been treated so poorly, when I had already paid for my surgery. I went online and looked up reviews for him. Most of them said the same thing that I did, that he was rushed, brusque, and matter-of-fact with a lousy bedside manner... but he does great work. My husband said told me to think of him as a car salesman. Would you rather have the really nice, friendly one that sells you a crappy Yugo, or the asshole guy selling Mercedes or something, that knows his stuff speaks for itself, and he doesn't have to bother? That made me feel better. Although, if I'm paying him that much, you'd think he should be a bit more friendly. My mom went to a consultation with him, and he was nice to her, and she really liked him. Maybe it's because I have lots of tattoos and piercings? I don't know. My husband was with me, and even he said that Dr Corbin seemed rude, so I know it's not just my perception. He lowered my pockets, so my breast crease is about an inch or so lower than it used to be, which makes my nipples sit too high. When I raise my arms, they look ridiculous, like they're on the top of my boob. When I went in for a consultation for a redo, it was still going to cost me thousands, and he doesn't use the permanent sutures, so I could bottom out after, and my boobs would still be where they are, which I hate. I've found someone amazing who does do permanent sutures when he raises the pockets, but it's going to cost me about $7000. Again. :( read more

had my boobs done here a couple years ago and don't regret a penny! a little pricey, but money definitely well spent. got mine in silicone and they look and feel real. people are always surprised when they find out they're fake. (i'm not shy, i'll tell you straight up they're bought). have had two friends get theirs done by him now since mine. he is a bit abrupt or terse like the other reviewer said, but as long as you do a good job, i don't care! highly recommend! read more
