I treated my wife tonight with an affogato. We weren't sure where to go so we googled and bam, just like that we were here experiencing the best tasting affogato that we have had in a while! Next time we are traveling through this area, it will be a must stop! The place is clean and boasts the best Gelato from Argentina and it was very good! We sat outside and enjoyed the night. read more

This place is fantastic. The girl behind the counter on Friday night was a delight. Knowledgeable about all the flavors, happy to give samples, and filled our cups nicely. It is pricey but it's fantastic. On a very cold night, there was still a considerable stream of people coming in to get their gelato. It was clean inside and the tables were not sticky like some ice cream places. read more

NOW OPEN! Freddo Gelato Trandizionale is now in Las Vegas! Delicious gelato flavors and toppings. The Freddo brand has been around since 1969. They offer coffee and some bottled/canned beverages with an assortment of pastries. Today we tried the raspberry gelato single scoop in a cup, delicious, sweet/tart mixture 5/5. The tulip waffle cone which comes with a large scoop and a medium one and 3 toppings. We chose the pistachio large scoop, coconut medium and topped it with almonds, caramel drizzle and dulce de 'leche drizzle...epitome of deliciousness! 5/5 This is a great combination that I can see craving week after week. After perusing the pastries, the coconut macaroons called my name and had to take 2 to go. We also grabbed a box of dule de 'leche gelato bars, tried samples in the shop and had to take a box home. Great service and thanks for letting us sample some flavors before choosing. Nice ambiance with a 1960's Vespa in the shop. Thank you, Nacho, for bringing Southwest Las Vegas, proper Gelato! Can't wait to come back and try other flavors. read more

Very friendly service, the helper was very nice and encouraging for samples! Right away a PLUS. I wasn't sure how much you get but the cost/value is a lot for the amount of ice cream you get. What I found interesting was that no matter what size you order the cups are the same. But the larger sizes include more flavors/scoops but it is crammed into the cup the bigger choices. The flavors were good but when smashed together like it is served it is hard to fully enjoy or taste the different flavors you ended up choosing. For my experience the tiramisu blended with the cookies and cream and that blended with the last flavor. Inside is super bright and has cute props of Italy including a Vespa. read more

My nephew and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here. I'm always on the lookout for places with tasty sorbet since I can't have dairy. I brought my nephew to this Yelp Elite event so he could have my free scoop while I purchased a sorbet. He got a free small cup of chocolate gelato and sprinkles. I got a scoop of raspberry sorbet on a waffle cone. Both were delicious, but what caught my eye were the mini coolers where you could mix multiple flavors and take it to-go. The little cooler is so cute. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area. read more

The most popular Gelato brand in Argentina has opened its first store in Las Vegas. We have attended their soft opening and it was absolute success. The atmosphere was very vibrant and the service was excellent. We have met the owner who is from Argentina ,he is very friendly and passionate about his shop. The overall customer service was outstanding. We have sampled a several different flavors and it was really hard to choose from, because they were all delicious and flavorful. We chose a large cup that comes with 3 scoops and the flavors were: pistachio, tiramisu- A MUST TRY!, patagonic white chocolate, philippine coconut, nocciola. They offer a lot of different amazing flavors and they are all made fresh, natural ingredients and free from preservatives. They serve only a high quality gelato. Overall this is a great addition to the Southwest neighborhood and they definitely need to open many more locations throughout the city. We highly recommend this Argentinian gelato! read more

Basically across from Durango casino, a very small gelato shop serving craft gelato. They're very nice to let you sample any flavor you want without any fuss. Any given day it looked like they had over a dozen flavors to choose from. The roots of this gelato started in Argentina and made its way to the states. I tried the 90% cacao chocolate gelato, you have to ask for it when I went they had it in the back, with strawberry gelato. I really like the 90% chocolate gelato. The prices were good and they were friendly. read more

Freddo has that immediate "oh we're coming back here" factor. Between the helpful staff and delicious gelato, this has quickly become a favorite for our family, and a summer staple for keeping cool in the Vegas heat. The team encourages you to try as many flavors as you'd like--I'd recommend that you do, as they're all great (but don't sleep on the sorbetto)! The owners are deeply involved, and always so happy to spare a minute to chat with regulars! read more

My first time having affogato with creamy vanilla and it was heavenly!! They have a lot of other ice cream flavors you can pick for your order, but to my the vanilla went well with the espresso. The service is great - even the owner asked me and my friend how we liked it. I missed it so much I went to their location in Los Angeles and it just wasn't the same.. Delicious and authentic Argentine gelato! The only downside to this place is the music is unbearably loud.

Great selection of homemade gelato. Very clean inside. Friendly staff. No long lines.

This is a go to spot for my husband and I! We took my nephew when he was in town and he's a fan now too!

staff was welcoming and knowledgeable about the menu. i got to try the dark chocolate gelato and fell in love. today i ordered a 2 scoops in a cup ($8) with the vanilla dubai and dark chocolate. i love how soft and not overly sweet the gelato is. i cannot wait to come back to try more flavors read more

Yummy!! Delicious imported gelato from Argentina! Who wouldn't love this?! My husband and I came out to try this for the first time. We loved it. And the service was fantastic. We sampled several flavors and loved so many we had to get a triple scoop in a cup. That's when the worker suggested we get the packed small for just 25 cents more which allows us 3 flavors packed in a portable easy-to-share container. The worker said the most popular flavors were freddo cookies and cream and anything dulce de leche. My husband, who spent an entire summer in Argentina in his youth said the dulce de leche was rich in flavor just like how he remembered in Argentina. We opted for the pistachio, stracciatella, and nocciola. The gelato is creamy and packed with flavor. We will definitely come back to try more flavors. I'm curious about the Patagonic white chocolate, mascaropone, and cookies and cream. read more

I saw Freddo on an IG reel and knew instantly I wanted to stop in with the fam. Minimal preservatives gelato from Argentina? Count me in! This is quite a drive for me. I went in the early afternoon, and it was a good time as we were the only ones visiting at that point. The interior is brightly lit, minimal aesthetic and pleasing to the eye, with the gelato casing drawing you in like a moth to a flame. We were immediately welcome with a smile by Matthew, and offered to try as many flavors as we like. I was pretty bummed that the one I really wanted had just sold out, the pistachio! Luckily, Matthew's kindness and the other flavors more than made up for it. I decided on a takeout container that was 1lb of 3 flavors for $17, for my selection we chose marscapone (which I was told is like a strawberry cheesecake) freddos cookies and cream, and the very creamy strawberry, and a cookies and cream milk shake. All of the flavors were really good, but that creamy strawberry was the star for our family. It really is very creamy and probably one of the best strawberry ice creams I've ever had. I love the concept of it being stored in a cooler, which worked perfect for me since with the traffic it took almost 40 minutes to get home, and my gelato was in perfect condition to be enjoyed with my family. I will definitely be back to get more of that creamy strawberry, and hopefully try the pistachio! read more

Was super excited to find a gelato near me but unfortunately wasn't impressed. The gelato was not very creamy and the flavors were not there/strong. For example, I tried the pistachio and it was a bit odd with a bit of artificial flavoring?it wasn't that creamy pistachio gelato that I was craving. I ended up getting the nocciola but it wasn't that thick/creamy either. Overall the texture is quite light for all the flavors I tried. I really hoped this place was great but it wasn't. read more

stopped by Freddo Gelateria and was really impressed. The affogato was excellent -- smooth, rich espresso poured over creamy gelato that balanced sweetness and boldness perfectly. It felt like a true Italian-style treat, and definitely one of the best I've had in Las Vegas. The service was outstanding as well. The staff were warm, welcoming, and took the time to explain the different flavors and options without rushing. They made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable, which makes a big difference. The shop itself has a nice atmosphere, clean and inviting, and it's the kind of place where you can sit for a while and enjoy your dessert, not just grab and go. Overall, Freddo Gelateria is a spot I'd recommend to anyone who loves authentic gelato or just wants a refreshing dessert with top-notch service. I'll definitely be coming back to try more flavors. read more
