They had good sales, especially on the weekends. Fast forward to now. Practically not shoppable now. The only thing that has not changed is getting hammered for a Kohl's card with an interest rate over 30%. Too many items that coupons won't work with. Too many brands have been discontinued. Poor selection for male shoppers, particularly. Stores are poorly staffed, checking out is a nightmare, and customer service is nonexistent. The last time we were in was on a Saturday around 11 am. There was two people working the floor. Neither said a word to us nor asked if we needed any help. No one in the jewelry department and one cashier.

I've been using the grocery pick-up option at this location weekly for about 5 years now. It has…read morereally saved me time and stress from grocery shopping. The app is extremely easy to use. I love that I can change my order multiple times up until a few hours before my grocery pick-up time window. I can also create and set up my order a week in advance. You can set up specific substitutions when creating your grocery order. They also notify you of any substitutions prior to your pick-up time so you can approve or reject them prior to pick-up. On occasion I do have some issues with produce items...brown lettuce, gouged fruit or moldy strawberries. When this happens I immediately go to the app and request a refund. It's a quick and painless process and they'll refund you immediately without having to bring the item back to the store. The employees are mostly friendly and helpful. Most load groceries with care. I have had a smashed bread loaf here and there, but mostly no grocery loading issues. They have moved the grocery pick-up area to the opposite side of the store since my last review. It's a much bigger area and has about twice the spots as the other side did. There are plenty of signs at both entrances to help navigate the newer location. I absolutely love using the grocery pick-up option. It has been a welcoming stress-free option for me and my household. I would highly recommend!

I was at the register and they were being extremely rude to a new employee working her first transaction. This employee was very nervous and apologetic the whole time to me for taking long. I worked in retail and was in no rush but when she went to ask questions the other employee male and young was so rude. They were annoyed at her for asking questions she was so frustrated she wanted to cry. I just kept reassuring her that I was not in a rush to take her time. This employee made the comment when that she was going to quit the job. I felt terrible for her and would have offered her a job if I could. I found the produce worker and asked him if he had any Aisan Pears and he said they was all out. It really seems that this is a big problem with Fred Meyer stores. Always out of everything. And never ordering enough. That's why I personally don't shop at Fred Meyer stores because they are always out of everything and their prices are generally more expensive than Walmart and Winco are, and don't have to download any digital coupons on a membership card to get the sales price that is generally cheaper elsewhere. I live nearby and shop here periodically, sometimes for curbside pickup and sometimes in store. If I'm in store I generally use self checkout but not always. First, this store is huge. So if you need the motorized carts (there are plenty), park closer to the gas station side of the store. If you're looking to get your steps in, hopes any entrance, walk a lap around the outer aisles and then once up and down the rows and *bam* 10,000 steps! Actually it's not quite so many, maybe 1/2 mile of walking. Lots of selection on any topic. The CBD candles are a favorite of my cat, a tortie who hates visitors but will tolerate them if we light the CBD candle. She also likes to eat rose petals and prefers the orange mini roses. Thankfully, FM generally has a small bunch of mini roses in the sale rack for a couple bucks. Cat doesn't care if they're wilty. The produce is always great. I often find discounted herbs which I can use or freeze immediately. I shop in store when I want to go hunting for a deal. When I get curbside pickup, the people delivering to the car always ask if I have paper coupons to apply, I've rarely had anything out of stock, and they pick really good produce. Regarding grouchy customer service people- I haven't encountered any but I'm sure they exist. We all have grouchy days from time to time. Get them with kindness and smile for no reason. And buy your cat some roses. :)
