You pretty much lost me as a customer with endless needless remodels, eliminating my most favorite entrance/adjacent part of the paring lotridiculous and price hikes - I used to do almost all of my shopping at this location since 2005. It became too confusing and expensive. Also, there's stiff competition from WinCo and Walmart not far away offering same products at much lower prices. I no longer receive any ads in the mail, either - out of sight, out of mind. Safeway is about the same distance away from me and they send me their weekly ads. And it works! Especially, with the Grocery Outlet close by. Customer service went downhill, as well - overly chatty bagger tossed frozen chicken with no regard as to where the package may leak - and it did (I provided m own bags and got no credit for it). Ultimately, I gained nothing from the sale price - just the opposite. I wish I was at WinCo and packed it myself! Otherwise, I ended up with extra clean-up and laundry in exchange for "customer service". No, thanks. Now, I know I need to check my bags if I purchase something in this store. And quickly - before is thaws and leaks! This is very sad. It used to be my favorite store, where I did most of my grocery and household shopping before Kroger took over. read more

If there was ever a grocery store to avoid and drive an extra mile or 2 to a competitor its this Freddies location. I purchased a product that was discounted if you purchased two items. I purchased 2 and was charged the wrong price. When I went to customer service to let them know it rang up the wrong price, the customer service gal, Jasmine actually told me that she had no idea. I asked if she could look in her computer, she told me she wished she could but their system wouldn't let her know the price. To her credit, when I suggested she check the weekly ad, she did. When she didn't find it there, she shrugged and that was the end of that. I went back to the aisle and took a picture of the price marked in two places the discount. I searched for a manager and was told by Justin, the cashering supervisor, that he could help me instead. I told him the scenario and showed him the photo of the 2 tags on the aisle, he apologized that Jasmine is regularly an employee grumpy to employees and that something must not have been checked in the system. A) I was not offered an adjustment of any kind to the correct pricing marked on the product B) The indifference shown by him and especially by the customer service agent is astounding since this is a pricing error and the customer provided proof. C) Clearly they are not worried about correct pricing, customer service, or that they are the face of the company to the customers. Shop elsewhere. Most places care if you are charged the incorrect amount. Most places care about how they represent the company. read more

The service is atrocious ever since the remodel. Where did all the courteous and friendly cashiers go? Are we really supposed to listen to cashiers complain loudly about having to ring people up when, I doubt know, it's their job? read more

Pam was worki,g the front door. My client needed help, Pam took care of it. She was quick efficient and kind. Thanks Pam!

Bountiful selection of food, wine, and fresh fruits and vegetables. However, my cashier, Roberta, was not nice or friendly at all. If anything, she was very unprofessional. Upon waiting in line, I heard her yell to her manager: "Hey, you know I'm off right?" When it was finally our time to check out, she was hurriedly throwing my groceries in a bag. Not once did she even greet us. She seemed more in a hurry to get off than to be of assistance. The thing that really ticked me off was as she was handing me my receipt, she took careful consideration in checking the end of my receipt to see my balance on my card. How rude? Horrible, horrible service. She needs to go through extensive customer service or find employment someplace else. read more

This store is the worst. Undergoing a useless remodel right now, they don't stock variety of products, long lines and only 1 main entrance now. Ridiculous. I'm taking my shopping elsewhere despite this being the closest grocery store. Also, saw an elderly woman being told they won't accept checks anymore; way to cater to your main audience. read more

Extremely slow deli counter. Always a long wait, even if only 1-2 people in line. Sometimes only have one person helping customers on the weekends. No customer service at all. read more

They have the kind of toilet paper where when you rip it off it comes off, not in sheets, but in tiny as hell chunks because you can literally see though it. read more

I have never reviewed a grocery store before, I never really thought it was necessary. I like Fred Meyer in general, but I just had to say something about the staff at this particular store. I used to shop at the Burlingame Fred Meyer where everyone was super friendly. After moving I started shopping here, and the customer service is HORRIBLE. No friendly smiles, the checkers throw bagged groceries into the cart, never mind the bread and eggs that are below the bag of canned goods. Customer service can make or break it for me, and I will be driving an extra 2 miles to go back to Burlingame. read more

This has to be the slowest deli I have ever been to. I come here daily and every day it takes for ever to get a sandwich. There is constantly a long long and not enough ppl working. I wish I could take a picture of all the ppl waiting right now and no one helping them. 3 ppl talking and laughing in the back. One person working. Good job read more

Being from Southern California, we don't have any Fred Meyer stores. This place is cool! Great grocery store and more. Just bought a new BBQ for an amazing deal. The gentleman that helped us definitely went over the top making sure it would fit in our car and then helping us load it. Great customer service! read more

Worst pharmacy on the planet. Yet I keep coming back because the prescription cost is cheaper than anywhere else. I guess you get what you pay for. read more

The recent remodel at the Tigard Fred Meyer is wonderful. More self checkouts. Looks like clothing has been reduced and much more groceries. Smart move. I think Kroger has done a lot of training. The customer service is at its best. I have shopped at Fred Meyer for years. Great to see it gets better. read more

As you already know, I am not friends with Freddie. But I do find myself having to run in from time to time for one thing or another. Yesterday was one such occasion. I had just entered the store when an employee came over the PA to announce that there would be a first come first serve gift give away to the adult shoppers in the store in less than 2 minutes. She urged shoppers to get to the designated location as soon as possible. This went on continuously every 15 to 30 seconds until the 2 minutes was up. I like to call myself savvy, & knew that surely there was a catch. I grabbed what I had gone in for, & headed for the door. As I was on my way out, however, i passed the designated location & in passing, payed witness to the drooling expectant crowd anxiously awaiting "free stuff". Alas, it was a sucker punch! A demonstration, in which they would have to witness new products before they were given away. The woman behind the counter promised a vast array of new & interesting products that would be given away............. after she gave her schpeel about them. I'm sure that most of those poor suckers stayed in hopes of getting something free....... but I say Boo-Hiss on Freddie for misleading the customers into a trickery demonstration & sales pitch. Be honest with people, & if they feel like wasting their time for free crap, then it's on them! read more

I HATE this Fred Meyer Store - the aisles are narrow and they are always stocking shelves when the store is at its busiest. The customers are rude to each other. The lines are long and slow. Did I mention that I hate this Fred Meyer store?! I don't hate Fred Meyer, just this store. read more

I had not come to shop t this location for sometime now, I used to shop at this store a lot when I was working in the area, I was a bit surprised on how much it has changed, on one hand, lots of improvements, in the produce department, lots of more variety of organic veggies and fruit, also a better selection now in the meat section, I noticed more organic and grass fed beef products, and also in the seafood, the health food section is also better, with new olive oil brands selection and good prices. But I was disappointed about their new deli department, the customer service skill in the employees there, is almost zero now, people who were serving, were rude and stressed, as if they were annoyed that I had to even bother them and had to buy some ham. One guy even stated he did not know anything about the ham I usually buy at the store, the healthy uncured ham, but the worst was that he did not use gloves and was touching the cold cuts with his hands, that is not hygienic and it really made me uneasy. But I even said "Thank you" to him at the end, but he even looked more annoyed, that I thanked him, did not even say "your welcome" . I am not going to give only 1 or 2 stars, only because it would not be fair to all other employers in the other departments, and because in general there is an improvement, but they really need to come up with a major improvement in the deli and hire kinder, more professional and above all, less rude people, who have at least some basic of customer service skills and people interactions skills and good manners, if they do, then I will be coming back for sure, read more

Do not use the delivery service especially the one-day. They will charge your card and not be able to provide documentation of why they charged the card. You will then bounce back & forth between Fred Meyer & Instacart and neither will help you. This is bad especially if you are a business and need receipts for all transactions. read more

I called a prescription refill in 3 days ago, got a phone call today that it was ready, came in, and they couldn't find anything. I suggested maybe they had messed up the location again. After a few minutes of fumbling with the computer, they figured out that happened and asked me to wait. After 5 minutes, they asked me for the phone number for the other Fred Meyer location ?!? I googled it and gave it to her and sat down again. 40 minutes later they inform me that they still haven't got all the information they need, and suggest I come back the next day. I drive home (10 minutes away) and get a phone call as I am coming in the door and their automated system calls to let me know my prescription is ready (again). I will be avoiding this location at all costs from now on. read more

Ok, honestly I hate this store, but it deserves high marks for organic produce and health food products. Better selection of organic produce than Whole Foods and much less expensive. Good selection of natural products in the health food section. It is a pain in the butt to park here, your fellow shoppers are a little sketchy at times, checkout always takes forever, most grocery items are lower quality. Worth the hassle for the produce section and we will deal with the hassle now that we have sworn off sleazy Whole Foods once and for all. read more

The sushi in the deli was pretty good! Will definitely try it again if I need a quick lunch again. Lots of choices!

In the midst of a lengthy family crisis, I realized about May 31 I hadn't bought my sungold tomato plants. I called around & NOBODY had them & their suppliers were out; many said they weren't reordering this late in the season. Then I called Fred Meyer/Tigard & Garden Center Manager Tony Caylor said he had none but he MIGHT be able to get some by June 6. He took my info & when I went back early Thursday he had set aside 10 4" plants for me. Unlike many garden centers, this pleasant, efficient manager is readily available on the grounds & goes out of his way to help customers. If he's engaged with another customer when you need assistance, both of them will try to help you. When I called back 6:30 AM Friday to leave a thank-you message for him, he answered the phone after only 2 rings. This wonderful man needs to be CLONED. read more

Great experience in this store. Look out Safeway. .. I can buy clothes and my groceries. .. what? Also my daughter loves going into the Playland ... nice job having a family and parent support shopping place. What a great idea. I see more Fred Meyer in my future!!! You know you like it when you drive from lake oswego to shop here. read more

Great Fred Meyer always have things in stock that I need and customer service is good as well. Clean, inside and out. Thanks!

It's clean, it's friendly, they have organic/natural section and they have a Starbucks inside, it sounds like a 5 star store but I can't. I hate the parking lot. It's small, it's sloped( hold on to your cart!) and it's not an easy in and out of 99w. Then I get in the store, and it's the worst layout I have ever seen from FM. Departments are not in section. Toothpaste, milk and Men's jeans are located on the same corner. It's bizarre and it makes not want to buy any of it. read more

Overall, I love Freddy's, but this is an older, smaller one. There's not much of beer selection here, granted I usually shop at the one on Hawthorne in Portland which has an entire wall of beer. I'm not picky about the service at Fred's because I don't come here to get waited on. It is a grocery store after all. read more

My wife and I have actually had very good experiance with this location of Fred Meyers. From buying rings and food. We shop here about 2 or 3 times a week with no issues. Always helpful and seems to almost always have what we need. Their pharmacy has always been timely and considerate of my privacy. read more

Convenience for one stop shopping. We wish they have more deli choices or at least rotate the options. Instead for jojo all the time, roasted potatoes with herbs will be a better option. The fried rice is dry and not taste real. For fried rice Safeway have a better choice. They stocked up naturals shelves with many choices. Several choices of kombucha and nature's way vitamins. Quick to pay and huge parking lot. We still appreciate for this FM. read more

This Fred Meyer is certainly as good as it gets. Very nice decor, layout and it is the "fancy" version of Fred Meyer. Great service and helpful staff. read more

Service and selection at Tigard Fred Meyer declined greatly after the remodel. Now with covid there are no humans working at the checkstands which leads to wait times of an hour or so. It takes even longer to use the self-check. We have a foster home and have large grocery trips each week. Using self check is not an option. We switched to curbside and it worked ok for awhile. But with covid now they have stopped doing substitutions, and they no longer tell you what items you are NOT going home with. A dozen of my items such as coffee and bread were "out of stock" and they did not substitute them. Surely they have one loaf of bread and one pound of coffee in the store with which to substitute the brand I chose? And they didn't bother to tell me. So we find out after we get home and unpack. Which means going back to a store again to buy the items they ignored on my list. Which defeats the purpose of curbside pickup. Go to Safeway instead - they still have human checkers and better service. A bit higher cost, but worth it if you actually receive the groceries you need. read more

We used to always shop at the FM in Tualatin, but since we just moved to Tigard we thought we'd try this store. Wow, what a difference! First off, this store is so much bigger! However, we found ourselves walking around so many times, as we just couldn't find things....I know its a matter of getting used to it, but we found items in places that seemed so unusual. paper plates down the isle where the pet food is??? We spent alot of time walking around... The location of this FM sucks! Also, when we went, it was so VERY crowded - you would of thought it was a major holiday....not sure how often we'll shop here; so far, it has only been once. read more

It's getting to the point where I get ripped off every time I come to this Fred Meyer. I only get items that are on sale when I shop here because why would I over pay when there is a Winco only two blocks away. But inevitably their sale items ring up at full price and the poorly trained cashiers either flip me attitude like I'm making up that it's supposed to be on sale or I have to wait 10 minutes for someone to track down the correct price. I give up on this location. There are way too many other shopping options on this stretch of highway. read more

I will NEVER again buy any electronic device, game, movie, charger etc, from Fred Meyer. Not only are they over priced but they lead you to believe you're covered under warranty for 30 days which is a complete lie. I bought my son a new Nintendo 2DS XL from them for his birthday 2 weeks ago. When one of the buttons broke after being dropped ONE time they told me rather rudely that it was between Nintendo and I and they would absolutely not help me with it. I Called target and numerous stores and I was told to just come in with the receipt and they would exchange it for a brand new one... what a horrible company. read more

Expensive Fred Meyer and HORRIBLE Jewelry store. They guaranteed a ring resizing by the next day at 5pm. Then 7pm. Then they lost it. Find somewhere else. read more

So disappointed at the costumer sevice. I watched woman and her two kids wait in line in front of me at the costumer service counter today. They had obviously returned their recycling and needed some assistance because the machines were not working. The worker behind the counter (Adam) rudely told her she needed to go back outside and someone would eventually come. The woman was by now fusterated, explain that she had been waiting a long time already and had asked for help and would like someone to meet her there. The worker insisted she go outside, which she complied. As she walked out of earshot he began to make fun of her to his manager and coworkers. So sad to see this behavior, especially with a manager there. I did tell the worker he was being disrespectful and he began doing the same thing to me. I spoke with another manager that hopefully will do something about this outrageous behavior. read more

Jewelry department is terrible! I took 3 watches in for batteries. I was told they may need to send my Casio Pathfinder to a different store due to the seals in it. I gave the approval to send it out. A week later, no phone calls for pickup so I called them. I was told on the phone that all 3 watches were ready. I got to the store and the Casio had not been sent out and they claimed they didn't know it was supposed to be. Not to mention they couldn't be bothered to call and see if I wanted it to be sent out. I got my other 2 watches and they took the Casio back to send out. A week later still no call and when I try to call they are too busy so they take my phone number (which is on the pick up slip), but never return the call. 2 Weeks later and I can't even find out the status of my watch!! read more
