This place is a total joke. Clearly all these reviews are from family members or coworkers every time I went into a body shop and they heard the name Fred Loya everybody had something bad to say. Let me tell you this company completely lived up to every bad thing that I heard Extremely hard to get a hold of zero accountability nobody does their job and their incompetency put my family out two days on our Christmas vacation. I ended up having to pay $3000 of my own money to get my own vehicle out because nobody will do their job over there. There are diffeent types of coverage Fred Loya offers they all fall all under the same coverage.(CHEAP and UNDER INSURED) If your'e in an accident and your vehicle is repairable they will say the repairs are under your deductible and deny your claim. If the vehicle is a total loss they will evaluate your car so low you end up with nothing. If your'e involved in an accident with this company and it's the other person's fault do yourself a favor go thru your own company have them recover your deductible. If they have cheated you out of a fair claim, file a complaint with your state's department of insurance. The Better Business Bureau and any other source of consumer protection source. If you're insured by this company I highly recomend you shop your insurance coverage with other carriers. You wil be surprised sometimes the cost difference is very small. I've been with Fred Loya for a few years now and never had any issue until today. I just purchased a new vehicle on Friday and I had a payment due for my old one on Saturday. I was well aware and called them to ask them if it was ok for me to wait on payment until I went in on Monday to remove my old car and add my new one. I told them I didn't want to make a payment on my old car since I didn't have it anymore and they said that was fine. I spoke to Edgar and he assured me this was ok. I said I wanted to make sure it wouldn't be late or anything and he clearly said no. I came in today and was told that I was being charged a late fee on top of my payment for my newly added car. I asked if I could have the fee waived and he said no. I spoke to his manager Ana and she said no as well even after I explained what happened. She told me I could have made my payment and they would credit it to the new vehicle but never did Edgar explain that to me or I would have paid. I have never been late on payment so I thought they would be able to offer a courtesy waiver this one time but they didn't. Had I been told that information about crediting it to my new vehicle over the phone then I would have paid no problem. Makes them look very unprofessional. Their agents need to do a better job of explaining things over the phone to avoid situations like this. I plan to cancel my policy and go elsewhere now. read more

00000 Stars... Fred Loya... You mean "Fraud Loya". My father renewed and payed for 6 months in advance in April. Later he had a letter mailed and that's when he noticed THEY had added an extra person in the insurance. (Someone that does not live in our household, doesn't drive our vehicles and has never been in our vehicle.) So he called them to please drop off the extra person ONLY. He was told to come to the office and sign again by the 25th.. he let them know he had some medical issues and won't be able to go. The 25 th arrived...my dad couldn't go. Worse case scenario "you would think" they never dropped the extra person. Anyways we stopped by to the office today the 30th to get the paperwork and to my surprise, they had already cancelled the entire insurance policy with the no show.. Meaning we've been driving without insurance.. my dad asks why and according to them because he never came by to sign the paperwork to drop the "extra person".. so now he has to renew the policy and they don't want to reimburse the money he already paid in advance for 6 months. They are literally stealing his money with their stupid policies... "Fred (Fraud) Loya by far the worse Insurance company... Not Loyal to their customers... They steal from them. I've been dealing with Fred Loya over a year and was happy until about 3 months back when my auto policy renewed. My rate only went up 5$ and I was ok with it. Then I got a phone call about a week later stating that I had to pay 240$ because of something they didn't notice. Basically I have to pay because someone at the branch messed up. My card on file changed and I repeatedly asked for them to email me the proper paperwork to get my card on file updated, they never did, got a late fee because of them, they didn't help, called corporate and they were just as unhelpful.
