THE GOOD: I was a member here for 18 months. It cost me $70/month. It is a respectable gym with…read morepretty terrible parking. You must cross the road to get to the entrance, which is ok. I think commuters and other businesses share the parking lot with gym patrons, making it a long walk to the front. Inside, Vision Sports Club is a pleasant place. It's large; it's always chilly inside - but overall, this gym has decent workout space (even for serious lifting). The showers are clean, and the locker room is impeccable. There are classes, but most of them are located in the far corner of the building in a warehouse-like setting. The only instructor worth mentioning is Janice, who is quite good. The gym overall has no character - I think it's a cross between a Gold's gym and a Planet Fitness. THE BAD: When quitting the gym - I moved away from the area - the manager gave me a VERY hard time. They charged me for nearly 2 extra months, and when I complained, she went off on a personal attack asking me my age, questioning my maturity level, yelling, etc. No explanation was given, other than "that's the way we do it." From what I did understand, I was 3 days into the month, so I had to pay for that month AND the next (I was on month-to-month basis at the time). So I paid, and politely left. I'm not coming back.

My daughter was targeted for ridicule, getting yelled at constantly to the point of tears before and after class. I sat outside the class one day and I heard for myself how disrespectfully this teacher spoke towards my daughter and I pulled her from the class that day. The director dodged my calls and chose not to respond to any emails which is a cowardly and careless way to direct a dance studio. There is also the nepotism that the director feeds into and the dance moms and kids are well aware of. Coupe only cares how much money you will throw at them with no regard for dancers self esteem or creative development. I would urge you to not send your child here, especially if they are neurodivergent, there are many great studios in this county and this is an area kind environment for young dancers.

The teaching of ballet, pointe, jazz, tap, hip hop, musical theatre, theatre dance, etc. is most professional and tailored to meet the needs of all ages and stages. Every teacher is well qualified to instruct children. There is a nutcracker performance yearly that in my opinion is as good as a NYC show. Two of my daughters participated in the performance for years. Nutcracker has left us with some of the best memories. Even though my daughters are all graduated, I still make a point to see the Nutcracker in December. The studio is large, but no child gets lost in the "shuffle." Everybody's important. We visited the new location last year - what a gorgeous facility!! The end-of-year performances are always stellar - so much planning and excellence are poured into the weekend-long event. There's a theme to the end-of-year performance, so it makes it all the more fun. There are always well-crafted props, and the best thing is you only rent the costumes for an extremely reasonable fee.

We selected them at the recommendation of our wedding planner who had numerous positive experiences with them in the past, and right from the beginning we were grateful for our pick. Adam worked with us ahead of time to make sure that the they were in lockstep with our vision. The day of, they showed up early, were professional, and truly set the mood with their beautiful performances (lots of Beatles!). We had them for both the ceremony and the cocktail hour and I'm still receiving comments of praise from our guests. I would hire them again in a heartbeat!
