I remember dancing with Mackenzie while holding her in my arms when she was only a baby. The onlookers were smiling to see me with my baby girl on the dance floor. Shortly after, Mackenzie began taking dance lessons at Progressive Dane Studio, and I am amazed at her skill level as a dancer. Hands down, there are so many great qualities about this school. It is a fun family environment. The parents are all supportive of each other. The recitals are amazing. The location is great, and the rooms are open spaced, and full of energy when class is in session. They have very talented and professional dance instructors. Today, Mackenzie has the confidence and skills to dance at any event. Yes, she's no longer a baby and is able to dance on her own now. I have been dancing at progressive for about four years and i love it. All of the teachers are amazing. They are so kind. They always try for us to make new friends in the class. I have made millions of amazing friends throughout the years I have been at progressive. I would definitely recommend this dance studio. It is a super safe dance studio. We had a terrible experience at the studio with our three year olds and would not recommend anyone coming here. Our children are three year olds and have always been outgoing and happy kids. We took them to a tots and tutus class this summer to try it go before committing for the full year. There were ten children 3-5 years old in the class but there was only one instructor, i.e., if any kid has an issue, the instructor cannot provide assistance as she is teaching. We have been to other trial classes at other schools where there are at least two instructors present. Within the first ten minutes of the first class, the instructor who never met the kids before turned off the lights. Our children were petrified to be in a closed room with an adult who they just met for the first. We returned the next week and the instructor did not appear to know how to comfort children that were scared from the week before so we withdraw from the class. The studio had a no refund policy so we requested for credit to be applied to the following year and try again. The studio wants to charge us ~$50 a class and was only interested in selling is the full year's class. The main reason we signed up for the summer was to make sure we did not have to commit for the full year if it does it work out. The studio did not honor their commitment that they would give us proper credit hat the owner Jolene promised. After numerous phone calls and emails to speak to the owner as she was the person who commit the refund to us, we got no response from her. We are very disappointed with this studio. They are not interested in developing a child's interest and growth. Would have given zero star if that's an option. Never been more disappointed at how a business handles its customer (well, jet cleaner in fort lee is the running too.) read more
