Seriously, this is no small achievement, as I have a typical fear of looking stupid on the dance floor. After learning how to move, and direct a partner, I can confidently pair up with my Wife and enjoy the music completely. The studio spaces are beautiful, very large and partitioned during the week, and fully open during competitions and the weekend socials. Socials here are a great way to meet new people and practice among people who are at your level, and even beyond your level. Everyone is friendly and pleasant, and it's the safest venue for you to practice what you've learned. We initially took group lessons at some ridiculously low rate. They have three tracks for Salsa/ Latin dance, and we took all three tracks in order. I would say that's 18 weeks of practice, and we got much better. My Wife already knew how to move, so this was in essence remedial instruction for me and partnering lessons for us both. You do not stay with one partner, so you are forced to call up adaptability early, which is a good learning principle. The instructors were very warm, friendly, knowledgeable individuals who put you at ease; in only one case did I ever see another student get visibly frustrated by the lesson, so 36 trips and only one bad day is remarkable. The private lessons, which are extremely worthwhile if you are far below your nominal partner's level of expertise, are affordable and a tremendous asset. You get better, quicker, and the one-on-one instruction is always better than a group class for working on your specific deficiencies. So, to wrap up, great venue, great people, affordable lessons, and a real sleeper hit with the Friday night socials. The lessons cost what they cost, and if anything additional costs more they're the first to tell you immediately. From a business standpoint this is how other dance studios should strive to be like. Let your reputation precede you (this place is run by a great family), value your clients, and slowly but surely they'll come streaming in... and stay! The only reason why I don't dance here myself is that I use a private instructor in the local area. We do use this studio often though, as they have tons of floor rental space. Group lessons can be mixed here though. The ones that are filled are wonderful. They're taught by instructors that like to push people. If you get with a group of people that is just there to mess around though, this can be a somewhat miserable experience, much like anything, Private lessons here are great, though. The instructors have decades of experience in teaching and know exactly how to simplify and layer according to the student's abilities. If you're new to dance and want to learn? Go here. No exceptions that they are the undisputed king of the area. Most ballroom dancers would agree with this.

Same classes are offered during week and on the weekend, so easy to do makeup classes by attending the alternative class. Tuition fees are very decent, way cheaper than some of the places we tried before. Registration and monthly tuition, all of it can be managed through website. They are also very helpful in person with any question or concern. I have been very pleased taking my daughter here for her classes over a year now. I am also so happy that Wheeler park welcomes everyone from all over NJ (and elsewhere). Coming from out of the county will cost you a bit more, but not much. If you live outside of Union County it is $4.00 for kids ($2.00 in county) and $6.00 for adults ($3.00 in county). This splash pad has every water feature a kid could ever need - from bigger twisty water slides, to a small dragon water slide. Also, water guns that you can shoot each other with, a pirate boat, water shooting up from the ground, and much more. My kids spent a little over 2 hours here and had an absolute blast. We've been here about 3 times and it never disappoints. Just be sure to bring some sort of shade covering. There isn't much cover at the splash pad so we usually bring our small beach tent with us. There is also a dry playground in the splash pad gated area where kids can play too. They have staff who help keep the kids safe and to make sure everyone goes down the water slides safe and sound. I highly recommend Wheeler Spray Park on a hot summer day.

So I decided I wanted to Have a father daughter dance, and to spice it up with something that would shock our friends and family. The problem ...I have 2 left feet. I can slow dance (so I thought), but anything beyond that is embarrassing. We called Lisa and she was very friendly and made us feel at ease. We picked the songs, the basic for the slow dance and the transition shock song. Lisa choreographed the moves to Both. I only realized after meeting with Lisa, that I could barely slow dance without tripping over myself. She taught us the moves, how to be suave and relaxed, and I was actually pretty good by the 5th lesson (my daughter by the 3rd). Everyone at the wedding LOVED it! She loved her first swim lesson, and we decided to enroll in a weekly class. The swimming experience has been great so far. She learned a lot of skills within a month and already moved on to Glider 2. The facility itself is amazing. Lots of parking spots outside. Inside the building it's kept warm and humid. They have lots of changing rooms, restrooms and a hair drying station with 6 dryers. The huge pool has several lanes and a separate section for family swimming. Every half an hour they operation multiple classes for different levels, while multiple supervisors and lifeguards monitor each swimmer. After each lesson, they also provide rating on the performance of the swimmer. The app also makes it easy to manage class enrollment, transfers and putting in absent notice. They also offer discounts rates as promotions sometimes, like in October second class enrollment had 35% off. The staff members at the desk are super helpful and always try to give the guests the best service. No surprise that they continue to be so popular for kids' swimming classes.

I love that some of the classes I take are small so that you can get more one on one time with the teachers and some of the classes are really big. The technique taught here starts out very basic and moves up as you move up levels (posies, A, B, C, intermediate, conservatory 1, conservatory 2, pre pro and adult class). The dress code is black leotard and pink tights or for freer classes ( like contemporary or stretch class) you can wear a leotard and athletic/ comfortable black leggings. The community is really close ( u know most of the people by name and some I'm friends with). The teachers really want you to learn and grow as a dancer which has s really nice. There are only 3 studios so sometimes the classes are big but even in larger classes you get to know the teachers well. The only thing that isn't perfect about SBS is that you have to take a minimum of 3-4 classes a week once you reach level C and above. This would be fine if ballet was my only activity, but I also enjoy running and voice throughout the week. I also would like to see more class options than ballet, point, and sometimes contemporary. I really would like to see a jazz, tap, lyrical or Musial theater class available. However this is a great place to be if you are really committed to becoming a great ballerina.

After starting classes at British Swim School, within just a few classes, that fear and all those tears turned into giggling excitement and happy anticipation. It's been a wonderful transformation to watch. Undoubtedly, the credit for Ari's new love of swimming goes to the caring, knowledgeable instructors at the School. Their instruction relieved any safety fears I had, and their in-pool enthusiasm -- a mix of singing and hands-on guidance -- was soon absorbed by our daughter. Recently our little future Olympian was promoted from Tadpole (i.e. dads in the water) to Starfish (essentially, one-on-one with a School instructor), and Ari's excitement for swim class has been rapidly increasing ever since. I want to thank Valbona, the manager of the Continental branch of the British Swim School, for gathering such a great group of instructors and for the personal care she's shown to Ari and all of the other students. Not great for little ones. I have told by many that it's the xchange management who refuses to keep it at a warmer temperature. Also the cost for swim lessons is on the more expensive side. Aside from that it is a great program and I highly recommend it.
