She layers skills thoughtfully, building confidence while continually adding complexity. One of the things we appreciate most is how quickly she can gauge what each dancer needs. Even in a group setting, she's excellent at pausing the class to correct and clarify, making sure everyone truly understands before moving on. She also complements her classes with social dances, which give students a chance to practice in a relaxed setting, and she has built a community that is not only supportive but genuinely warm and welcoming. My experience with him taking private lessons is that he is masterful in breaking the steps down so that they can be built up with beautiful technique. In group classes he creates a fun environment with progression in each class and is attentive to each individual in the group. His schedule is flexible to meet the convenience of those who schedule private lessons while groups classes are scheduled throughout the evening when more people are available.
