Didn't want athletic or velcro-closure shoes; we were looking for slip-on canvas shoes (and, no, we didn't want Van's since we've had a horrible experience with their quality and durability). Saw that Gymboree carried this style of shoes but they didn't have his size at the mall. Finding a Gymboree outlet was sweet! Excellent selection of both BOYS (yes, boys!) and girls clothing. And shoes! Store is clean and nicely organized. Excellent customer service, too. Shout out to Tangie who went above and beyond to help us locate the size and styling we needed. She was so helpful in assisting us find a second pair as well. Prices were great, and as stated, selection was superb. Hard to find a children's clothing store that stocks a good selection of clothing for boys. This store had it. I just wish it were a bit closer, but driving here via the Grand Parkway makes the trip much quicker and more tolerable (at least from my part of town). I will be back, that is for certain.

Also, I only shop when there is sale and use coupons so I normally get their clothes for less than I would spend at the 3 places listed above. I have Gymboree hand me downs from my nieces and my daughter is the third child to wear them and they still look great. The outlet store has the same stuff and the regular stores and items that were in the regular stores last year. You can get items shipped to the store for free if it is not available in the store but is available online, and I have always had great service at Gymboree stores. Tip: parenting magazines often have a 20% off coupon in each issue.

When you come inside, it's a very cute resale shop for young children and maternity. The items were very cute but the prices were a bit high in my opinion for resell. I've never been a massive fan of Old Navy if I'm being completely honest. There's just something about this store that seems too preppy and family-oriented and not edgy and fun enough. They're kind of expensive too, and this particular store seems to be lacking in a little bit of customer service, or not enough employees, or something else probably because it's so new. Many of the other stores in this Plaza also have the same problem. Another thing I will say is that with the Premium Outlets just next door, it almost seems a waste to have this right here, because you're almost certainly going to find cheaper stuff at the outlets.

Since we didn't want to take away from the medical professions who needed medical-type masks, we decided to help support a local entrepreneur, Suga Buga Baby's Felicia Malloy, who offered to make reusable face masks for our caregivers. In total, she made 120 for us at $10 each. When we got them and began to distribute them, so many caregivers said that they were too small to wear. I tried one on and had the same experience. It didn't fit. We contacted Felicia who apologized and asked us to return them and give her 24 hours to extend them (the ear pieces). Well, it didn't quite work out that way. We returned all but 35 (which we had already distributed) and then Felicia informed us by e-mail the next day that there is a no refund policy and that she was not going to extend the masks after all. So not only did she reverse her stance, she delayed us in getting out our sewing machines and working to extend the ear pieces so that our caregivers could have the masks that they needed. We picked them up today. At least we have them back. To throw us a bone, she made us 25 more gratis, which appear to be a bit larger, we'll see. But we are left in the short term with 65 unusable masks and so much work to do in order to make them up to par. If we did business this way, we would have been out of business a long time ago. We make things right. We are professional.
