My screen was…read morecoming seperated from the phone ( from a different company poor installation) so brough it in to have the screen re installed. While discussing the screen replacement I decided to also have the battery in my iPhone XS max replaced since he would have the phone open anyways, to take advantage of this to get the battery replaced. He agreed he could do both and we agreed on the price. He advised that usually he would have a generic battery to put into the phone but in this case, for a little more money he actually had an Iphone factory replacement battery he could install. I agreed to the extra price for the Iphone factory battery. Total repair would take 1.5 hrs. When I picked up the phone the screen that he reinstalled was now damaged, either due to too much pressure or heat as the screen now had discoiloured Pixels in two areas on the edge. The screen also had globs of glue sticking out of the side. He used a heat gun to separate the screen from the phone rather than heat mat which should have been my first red flag. once I got the phone home the battery was dying pretty much as quickly as before so I went into the battery health to see what was going on and the phone advised that it couldn't give me this information as this was not an apple battery that had been installed and that the installation process had not been finished. its been over a month now and the phone battery is marginally better than the battery I paid to have replaced and the phone continues to advise that its not an Apple Battery. To boot, the technician / owner charged an additional 15$ that we had not discussed to reinstall the screen on the phone which we had originally discussed as included. Overall, I'd stay away from this company as there were a number of issues with the transaction I had.

We have been part of Freedom since they were Wind - and they don't seem to care about helping us. We had a complaint filed (now refiled) with CCTS to resolve some pay-per-use charges that we absolutely did not use. They originally took off some money, but not even 50% and have suspended our phones after saying that it wouldn't happen. They just want money and will not take the blame for anything wrong on their end. Things never get resolved and they will deflect, deflect, deflect.

But currently I'm spending too much to have service only every now and then. I live in Langley and I don't receive phone calls in my own home from someone in the driveway. I don't have data in my own bedroom, and 80% of the time I'm somewhere without wifi, I don't have any internet access to google or to check messages because freedom's data sucks. Coverage is just awful. Service and 3G don't even reach to east abbotsford. Will never renew plan here.

And put in a screen that didn't even fit my S24 ultra. If toy ever get Ur screen repaired make sure you check all the functionality like camara is working.
