The pricing of the candy isn't too bad. We had their truffles and raisins. I really enjoyed the sugar free chocolate raisins. I'd definitely get it again. The truffles were good. However, they were very hard to bite into. I enjoyed the ambiance of the store. Very nicely decorated and organized. I'd definitely come back!

Oops, sorry, but they are kinda spendy. To be fair, their pay-by-weight candies are the exact same cost as Lolli & Pops and Candy Street in Lynnwood, which is about $5 per quarter pound. The weight adds up quickly. If any kid touches the candies, they pretty much will need to throw away the entire lot. It is an expensive business to run. I observed a child dropped a piece of jawbreaker. The lady immediately approached the parent asking to take the dropped piece. No yelling, no anger, just the right way to run a sanitary business. They have a huge assortment of chocolates, candies, cotton candies, and some beverages, too. Being Easter, they had cute sweets that are unique. I wonder if they will have after Easter sale. Hehe. Amongst their regular offerings, I found one of my favorites - dark chocolate malt balls. Theirs is a bit smaller than the double chocolate ones I usually buy, but cocoa is very expensive now. Happy to find something.

I was shocked by the clear difference in treatment based on race at this location. The staff were warm and friendly to the white customers ahead of me--offering free samples and complimentary ribbon wrapping. When it was my turn, their tone shifted completely. They were cold, dismissive, and visibly uninterested in helping me. My questions were met with rudeness, no samples were offered, and I was told I'd have to pay for ribbon wrapping. It felt like I was unwelcome simply because of my skin color. Unacceptable and disheartening in this day and age.

My intention was simply looking because the displays were nice. They were captivating. I walked in and was immediately greeted with an enthusiastically polite gentleman who walked me through all their product. He discussed flavor profiles. He showed different flavors. And somehow I walked out with two boxes of chocolate. I don't know how. I didn't intend to buy chocolate. But they were so convincing! And it was amazing. The sample was one of their nama chocolates (apparently a Japanese version of ganache) made with champagne. And it was phenomenal! We browsed around to see what other options they had and we came across one that had a Seattle theme - which happened to be made with Islay Whiskey. We bought a box of 20 pieces and it retailed for 23 dollars. After we got home, we ate one each after dinner and we were both blown away! The texture is just amazing and it was very well balanced with the whisky. The store was very clean but maybe a tad bit too dark. The staff was friendly. All chocolates are packed with an ice pack and once you purchase, you have to put it in the fridge within 5 hours. We were informed that the chocolates are good for one month store in the fridge. Highly recommended if you haven't tried this yet!

There's usually plenty of parking, but on weekends it can get very busy, so you may have to circle a bit. This was my first time visiting Made in Washington, and it's a great stop if it's your first time in Seattle and you want to check out locally made products. As soon as you walk in, there's a lot of chocolate, along with kitchen décor, lotions, and soaps. Some items are on the pricier side, but there are also more affordable options. My mom and I found a lotion for about $14 that smelled amazing. They also offer plenty of samples, which I really liked. Overall, the value is pretty decent, you'll find some things you love and some you may pass on. The only downside was the customer service. No one greeted or acknowledged us, and it felt like most of the staff stayed behind the register. Despite that, I still had a great experience and would recommend stopping by if you're looking for gifts or products that are made in Washington.

I say this because they have the "Banistas", the people who hand out the bananas as extra friendly, which isn't itself bad, but it seems forced. It seems like they're instructed to be really energetic and engaging when it really isn't called for. The fact that they have a title and "bananagers" that bring up more when the bananas get low. (Yes that's the real title for these people). So no, I'm not hating on it, get yourself a banana. I'm just a bit leery of over cheery corporate efforts like these.

During my most recent Beecher's trip a few weeks ago, my boyfriend ordered a grilled cheese and their salmon mac and cheese. I had a few bites of both, and they were delicious. The grilled cheese was perfectly crispy, and I loved the crunch it made when I first bit into it. The gooey-ness of the cheese in the macaroni was also incredible, and I loved the texture. I'm sure I'll come back soon! I would probably be more inclined to drop by during every mall trip if they had better coffee. Every time I order an iced mocha, it's overpriced and absolutely disgusting. The flavours are never incorporated, and every time I think it will be different, it's the same.

Beecher's was here at the mall, but the junk part is I was full from snacking at the other mall and we are having a late dinner in about 11/2 hours. I want to try everything which I couldn't, I went for the mac & cheese that everyone raves about, but I couldn't do the grilled sandwiches, this will have to wait til next trip. The mac & cheese is available in classic, meat ball & salmon and comes in 2 sizes , 8 oz and 16 oz. I wanted to try the meat ball but they were sold out. I got the salmon, happy dance before I took my first bite & the verdict: That was some good mac & cheese, this is what I call mac & cheese. I can't compare other mac & cheese to this. Its my first time trying mac & cheese with salmon and it was actually unique and so good, loved the flavors, the hint of lime, dill, cheese, penne pasta, smoky salmon, & sauce. Tip., there's no bread crumbs on mac & cheese but ask for the fresh croutons to add to your mac & cheese. **Remember stop by here instead of dealing with the lines at Pike's Place. This is the best impromptu, unplanned visit ever!
