We purchased a home in July and started our renovation journey. We gutted the kitchen to the studs, put in central air, a ton of electrical work and redid all the floors on the first floor. We were wrapping up-it was time for painting. A friend recommended for painting-"Amazing work and affordable" they said. So he did our kitchen and dining room and bathroom. As it dried, I found so many mistakes, I knew it was time for someone else. After a ton of research I found Franks Painting. Frank himself came to my home and spent a lot of time going over all the work we needed, explaining in detail what they would do and the time it would take. When he sent us the quote later that night...my heart stopped a moment! But then I took a breath and considered the amount of work we needed done, plus repairing the previous painters mistakes and decided to bite the bullet and move forward. One of the bonuses of the scale of our job: it included meeting a designer Frank works with and she was wonderful! Suggested colors I never would have thought of-and now that the work is done, I love each color she suggested! So now the true starts of Franks Painting: the crew!!!! Alberto and his crew of 3-4 came every day between 8-8:30 and left every day between 3:45-4:00. Alberto and his team was meticulous! If they had any suggestions, I listened! They went above and beyond repairing the previous painters work and as the work went on, I felt more and more confident in my choice of working with Frank and his team. Alberto and his team cleaned up every day and were very careful with my floors I just had done. They were here for 7+ days and they never rushed to finish...they stayed until the job was done. They did walls, new crown molding we had put it (it looks amazing), windows and door frames, front door, stairs, railings, etc etc etc!! Please please please: if you need a painter-go with this company!!!! After doing renovations for six months (and swearing to never do it again), I have learned: you get what you pay for!! Big thank you to Frank and his team! Did an amazing job on our new home in Massapequa. Did a lot of research on various painters since I'm new in LI and couldn't be happier with our decision. The work was thorough, very detailed prep work which was what I was concerned about most. Other painters over looked areas during the quote process which weren't missed when Franks team came to provide a quote. Outside of the prep the paint came out beautiful and within timeframe quoted. Multiple painters at our house every day, others mentioned the most they could provide was two painters which meant a longer timeframe. We also benefited from the free paint consultation with his designer. We also had a separate team from Franks do our kitchen cabinets which were great but brown wood cabinets. I believe this was our 6th project that Frank has done for us since 2018. This time we had a real challenge for him. We had them skim coat and repaint a walk-up attic. It's a big room with high ceilings, especially over the stairs leading up to it. The prior owner had refinished the attic with sheetrock years ago, so it was not in the greatest shape. I knew it would need a skim coat and I also knew that Frank's crew were excellent at applying three layers of skim coat in order to make the walls look perfect. As usual, the guys did not disappoint. They worked really hard and by the end of the project, which took 6 days, it looked wonderful. Carlos was the foreman and he actually did the work on our last project which was an upstairs bathroom. His crew consisted of Giovanni, Jose, and Leonardo. They all worked very well together and very diligently. By now or after so many projects, I do not have to worry that the job will wind up great looking. Frank, at this point you have heard me sing the praises of your guys so many times I probably sound like a broken record. I hired Frank's because of all the rave reviews. Maybe I just got an inferior crew . I just had my floors refinished and now there is paint on my newlyrefinished wood floors. There e paint smudges in multiple rooms, some in the middle of the room and in areas that are conspicuois that will require having to refinish my floor in multiple rooms. Brand new moldings that had never been painted prior to Frank's have so many drip marks that they require sanding down to the raw wood & then being rprimed and rpainted. Spackle work is horrible and in some areas pep work was missed entirely. Sliding glass doors have areas from top to bottom that were not painted which is a real eyesore The overall paint job which included the whole house leaves a lot to be desired. I cannot recommend them. read more

Frank's team just completed work at our home in Babylon (they painted the exterior of our house and a few rooms inside). The exterior work needed was extensive as much of our window trim was in very bad shape (their work included scraping and sanding as prep for the new point. They get you to buy their recommended Benjamin Moore brand "paint" and it turns out to be watered down, easily smudged cheap paint they obviously have some crackpot deal with their supplier. Very disappointed that paint didn't hold up as if I bought it myself. That's what you should do. *Perhaps instead of trying to call me a competitor why not ask and see what possibly went wrong?
