So a few months ago we decided to address the whole house. The outside needed a lot of prep (a 100-year-old center hall colonial home in Queens which we've lived in for 48 years.) The wood needed cracks filled, scraping, caulking - hours of attention. The inside hadn't been painted in 20 years at least. The living room required 3 skim coats of plaster, the kitchen had damage from a leak, the bathrooms needed some ceiling replacement from another leak - just to show the extent of what they were facing. Today, they finished! They went so far beyond just painting to include replacing hinges, repairing old porch casement windows, - everything they touched became so much better. This was a huge job, lasting over 2 months, and we can't say enough about how professional, fastidious, and careful they were in their attention to quality. The team of guys clearly liked and respected each other - a key factor to good work, and the business owner Fredi Borjas is gentleman, and a delight to work with. Scope of work : painted kitchhen cabinets Communication - 5 out of 5 - he was prompt with his reply when I inquired a quote, provided a detailed explanation of the scope of work, and kept me updated throughout the transaction . He also advised on color choices and has such a cheerful attitude. Work Ethic - 5 out of 5 - very honest with his thoughts and opinions, and is possibly one of the hardest workers I've met as he works day to night to ensure everything is delivered beyond expectations. If there was even any remarks from me, no matter how small, he comes back and fixes it and then go above that to repaint everything again Quality of output- 5 out of 5 - was beyond what I thought painted cabinets may look like. It took a while to find someone good to fix the leaks, but once we did, we needed a good painter to fix the wall & ceiling damage and repaint. We also took the opportunity to change the color of the room. The end result is great, and we're very happy! Also, their rates were fair. Scraping and spackling to repair all the damage, priming and painting, with a crew of 3 over two days, was $1,250. He was able to come out and give me an estimate that same day which was awesome. He arrived at the scheduled appointment time which is always a plus. We told him what we wanted painted but we really didn't have any colors in mind we just knew we needed a paint job. Joe suggested some colors that I would have never considered and little did we know that we would go with those suggested colors and our walls would look amazing. After the estimate the next day we decided that we wanted to go with The Paint Pro's. The price was very reasonable and if Joe feels that you don't need a wall or a room painted, he won't paint it, it not about painting more rooms to get extra money with this company. Joe had such an amazing personality. He was very pleasant, had a great sense of humor and was very knowledgeable about paint. Joe came that same day we called him and spackle the walls. The next day he arrived and began. The job was suppose to take two days. However, Joe finished everything in one day.
