They have a fantastic variety in-store and a great selection to order from. The reason this review is conflicted is our interaction with the staff. When we first walked in, there were a lot of wallpapers, signage, and other instructions on the walls. We were so excited to look at the selection they offer that we didn't get a chance to read all the signs. My partner pulled out his phone and was taking pictures so we could compare before making a selection. One lady jumped at us, was extremely rude, and reprimanded us for taking photos. We both quickly apologized and put the phone away. She proceeded to lecture us that she has five signs posted; therefore, we should have been aware of the no picture policy. We were embarrassed by the way she spoke to us in front of other customers. She continues to make side remarks after that. Her colleague noticed the interactions and quickly walked over to us, offering to assist. And, this is why this post is a conflicted one- her colleague was delightful (perhaps to compensate for the colleague's rudeness), accommodating, extremely knowledgeable, and super friendly. We ended up purchasing close to $300 of wallpaper, glue, and other materials. She was so lovely. We even want to go back to show her pictures of how the project turned out, because I'm in love with the wallpaper and my closet now. In summary, please read all the signs before visiting this business to avoid being yelled at or accosted.

He got to my house on time and worked tirelessly for two days on a project he anticipated to take one. He never complained and concentrated on the job with his insane focus on the details. We engaged these good folks for an attic guest room repainting several years ago, and their work…read morewas top notch. They exceeded expectations in the finishing work, cleanup, and final touches. So a few months ago we decided to address the whole house. The outside needed a lot of prep (a 100-year-old center hall colonial home in Queens which we've lived in for 48 years.) The wood needed cracks filled, scraping, caulking - hours of attention. The inside hadn't been painted in 20 years at least. The living room required 3 skim coats of plaster, the kitchen had damage from a leak, the bathrooms needed some ceiling replacement from another leak - just to show the extent of what they were facing. Today, they finished! They went so far beyond just painting to include replacing hinges, repairing old porch casement windows, - everything they touched became so much better. This was a huge job, lasting over 2 months, and we can't say enough about how professional, fastidious, and careful they were in their attention to quality. The team of guys clearly liked and respected each other - a key factor to good work, and the business owner Fredi Borjas is gentleman, and a delight to work with. He sets the tone for how his team works. We enjoyed them all very much. This was a big job, fairly priced, and done to perfection.

The service and attention to detail is the opposite of what Ed provided and guarantee he made to customers. I had a large project that I wish I went with another painter for. After pointing out the lack of quality across the work (top of doors not painted, streaking, chipping, primer issues), it was redone but at another significant expense charged by E Booth. Essentially paying twice for quality that was still poor - and should have been done properly the first time. I had to bring a new painter in to complete the job professionally. Please reach out to me if you would like to discuss my experience in more detail. I can also share photos. TLDR: AVOID E Booth. There are better local options. Not worth the headache. It is unfortunate for the original Ed booth to be associated with this new business.
