I want to warn others about my experience with the owner (Mel) of this body shop. I went in for a…read morequote to install a front lip and rear bumper. The price seemed high, but since I was still price shopping and didn't know what was reasonable, I thanked him and told him exactly that before leaving to check other places. Less than an hour later, I came back because I hadn't found another option and decided I was over the hassle of shopping around. When I returned, he raised the price (Proceeds to lie). That immediately felt wrong to me. When I questioned it, his tone gave me the impression that he was upset I had not accepted his original offer earlier, and that he increased the price because he assumed I did not find a better deal elsewhere. I was very bothered by that and decided not to give him my business. About a month later, I still had not gotten the work done, so I decided to try again and went back to the shop. This time, his attitude was even worse. He literally looked at me and said something along the lines of, "Oh, I thought you were going to take it somewhere cheaper," in a sarcastic tone. Of course, he has the right as a business owner to refuse service, but I think people should know the kind of experience I had here. What bothered me most was the lack of professionalism and the way the pricing was handled. I do not think it is good business practice to give someone a price and then change it shortly after for no legitimate reason. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this shop. Keep in mind his daughter was working in the front desk and witnessed the second interaction.

I highly recommend Castellanos Muffler and Tire. They perform high-quality work, but what impressed…read moreme most is how they stand behind their work when something doesn't go as planned. Recently, my son had a five-inch muffler tip installed at the shop, and unfortunately, it later fell off. When we brought the issue to the owner's attention, there was no hesitation and no excuses. He immediately ordered a replacement muffler tip, paid for it himself, and offered to install it at no charge. Mistakes can happen in any business, regardless of how good they are. What separates a great business from the rest is how they respond when something does go wrong. Castellanos Muffler and Tire handled the situation exactly the way a reputable business should. It's refreshing to see a company that takes pride in its work, stands behind its name, and genuinely takes care of its customers. It's no wonder they've been in business for over 30 years. Five stars and highly recommended to anyone looking for a trustworthy muffler and tire shop in the area.

Everything went well once vehicle was finished and I went to pay they switched the price to $180 + tax. I confronted the employee and ask that wasn't the agreed price vehicle was finished and he had my keys. No payment no keys. I have proof of the receipt were I was charged a different amount. This is very upsetting because there is nothing I can do if I didn't pay the amount they switched I would not be able to take my vehicle. Very frustrating. I don't know any other place that charges this much for installation and balancing of 4 tires and disposal

We brought our 2014 Honda Accord Hybrid to Galceran Auto Electric after it displayed warning lights…read moreand wouldn't shift out of Park. We specifically told them at drop-off that the issue began after two fuses were moved -- yet instead of checking what we told them, they jumped straight to claiming the Electronic Servo Brake Control Unit had failed. That's an extremely costly part and would have meant a repair bill in the thousands of dollars. When we took the car to Honda for a second opinion, they immediately confirmed the problem was exactly what we said from the start -- two misplaced fuses. Once corrected, the car was back to normal at almost no cost. This shows a serious lack of diagnostic ability and integrity at Galceran Auto Electric. They ignored the customer's information, failed to check the basics, and attempted to push an unnecessary, very expensive repair. On top of that, they charged for diagnostic work that clearly wasn't done properly. We strongly recommend caution: always get a second opinion before authorizing repairs here. A good shop listens to the customer and starts with the basics -- Galceran Auto Electric did neither.

Forced to Pay $1,327 in Cash After They Refused Every Card - Stay Away…read more I came here for a routine oil and filter change. What I experienced was psychological pressure, financial manipulation, and a complete lack of professional ethics. After inspecting the car, they insisted on additional repairs, which I agreed to based on their urgency. They then sent me a credit card authorization form, which I completed using a valid corporate Visa card. Later, they claimed it couldn't be processed. I offered a second card in person (from my associate), which they also refused. They rejected three separate Visa cards with no written explanation, and told me I must pay in cash. I waited over two hours for a police civil standby after feeling unsafe and coerced. No one came. I stood outside, a woman alone, surrounded by men who held my vehicle until I complied. I was finally forced to pay $1,327.24 in cash -- against my will, without any transparency, and no official receipt policy disclosed in advance. This place uses payment manipulation to trap customers and make them feel powerless. Avoid at all costs -- and if you ever have to go here, bring a lawyer, a witness, and a police report form.

I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone.

I hit a tree a few weeks back and a friend recommended this place to fix my 2017 Porsche 718 S. I…read morewas helped by Victor who is a knowledgeable and patient guy, after a couple of weeks deciding the best way forward I chose to pay out of my pocket instead of using the insurance. Victor asked me to drop off the car on Monday 12/07 and the next morning I got the first updates, they sent me a link with a bunch of photos and notes of what they did to that point. Another part was needed so this may have delayed the process by a day, so yesterday 12/10 I got a call from Victor saying that the car was going to be ready before the end of the day, around 2pm I got a text and a phone call from Yani saying that the car was ready. I checked the link and it was a new photo showing the car completed. When I arrived to pick up and pay I got a total of $1475 (which was shown in the last update received) but I had an estimate of $1030, I understand when you are working with insurance you send them a "preliminary work" and then you can add a few or several "supplemental" and the insurance usually pays them, but this money was coming out of my pocket, so I was definitely expecting the $1,030 figure or a little less... all in all Victor explained to me the extra work done and reduced a bit the final number. Conclusion: I'm a hard person to please type of guy, I believe they did a really good job, the 3 days to finish the work is appropriate and the way they kept me informed with calls and photos is top notch! I highly recommend them, just be open to pay a bit more than originally expected...
