Great service! I had two mountain bikes that needed tune-ups and had flat tires, and they did a great (and quick) job getting them back to riding order. Highly recommend! read more

After spending several hundred dollars at La Mirada Cyclery, the service wax minimal at best. Luckily I got a flat on Greenway Trail and had to stop at Frank's to fix it. Since this was my fifth flat in 2 months I was more than frustrated. It turns out I needed a new tire which was contributing to my flat tires. Why didn't the other shop tell me that? We discussed my options and Frank let me know that the railroad puts thorny debris on the trail, making the trail look carefree and safe. Frank went the extra mile and adjusted my brakes and handlebars at no extra cost. Frank was professional, warm and caring. My bike shop for life thank you Frank. read more

Hi, I took my Cannondale for a front wheel repair and Frank did an amazing job. Last, Saturday, I went from Diamond Bar to Pasadena 65 miles total. The bike ride was great and smooth. Frank was also kind enough to adjust my brakes and oil the chain. All services were at a reasonable price. I will continue to bring the bike to him for service. Thank you, Frank. God bless! I have a 7 speed cruiser that was in need of new tires & a tune up, found this shop on yelp & glad i did. Rode my bike to the shop, (it's right off Colima & lambert off the Whittier trail ) the owner Frank was very friendly, quoted me for a tune up & new tires & was very honest, checked out my bike to confirm a tune up was truly needed first. Left my bike around noon & it was ready that same day around 4pm. Just picked up my bike & it feels great. I'd definitely recommend for any repairs or if you're shopping for a new bike, has a really big selection of all types of bikes, I have my eye on one might be going back soon to buy it :). read more

I called him and told him that I apologize that I was still in the hospital and he said don't worry about it. I'm gonna bring your bike inside and I'll take care of it. Called around 5:00pm to see how much and how long for them to put a bike together. Told me 120$ and it would be ready the next day. So I went there and dropped it off just before closing time. Called me back the next day to tell me it was ready. Went to pick it up and was talking to the owner Frank Jr. Him and his family go way back in the bike business 20+ years. His dad had a shop and him and his sister have their own shops in Whittier and Downey. Same company but each one runs their own. I would go back. read more

Frank's Bicycles is limited in the bicycles that they service. We have two small mini e-bikes that needed a small routine tune-up and one e-bike that needed the tube changed on the front tire (12.25). When asked if they could change the tube for us, his response was "We don't have anything to do with e-bikes and I can't help you!" Basically, all we really needed was the tube changed. A flat tire has nothing to do with it being an "e-bike." All the other local bike shops located in close proximity could help us so we went with them. They were surprised that Frank's couldn't help us. Frank's lost some loyal customers today. We will no longer bother with this limited business. read more

Frank's Bicycles is one of my go-to shops anytime I have an issue, am looking for parts, or just need some professional help with my bike. I've taken my single-speeds here so many times over the past few years, and every single time, I have been met with friendly and professional service. Even on the busiest days, the owner stopped what he was working on to help me with my bike issues, having me in and out the door with a fixed bike within the hour. The owner is good at what he does and genuinely cares about his customers. I can't possibly put how generous Frank has been with me over the years in one review, but just know I highly recommend Frank's Bicycles. It's absolutely worth doing business here. read more

I called the bike shop to ask them if they would work on my electric bike and adjust the brakes. Then when I arrive he tells me they don't work on electric bikes and that he didn't know that on the phone that was the case. Even though when I told him if he worked on electric bikes he said yes. Traveled far like 15 miles just to get a sold no he won't work on my bike at any cost. read more
