Not to mention the fact weights are always missing and we have basketball courts making it so loud your noise cancelling headphones still won't block it out. You also can't get through to equipment unless you cross behind the courts so hopefully you can catch a ball. Also pretty sure the AC doesn't work at all. So choose this location if you like tennis, squash etc. not a good fit for those who just wanna workout in group classes or swim in comfort. $90 a month plus $100 or so for initiation fee. 3. I shared that I've practiced hot yoga many times at CorePower Yoga, but he immediately shut that down by saying they're "not the same." The dismissive response rubbed me the wrong way and honestly made me less excited going into what was supposed to be my first 60-minute class with him. The studio itself also felt pretty old and dingy. It doesn't have the modern, clean, welcoming feel that I'm used to at CorePower. Overall, it seemed to cater more toward an older crowd and a very traditional, no-frills hot yoga style. Personally, I missed the motivating and encouraging energy from instructors, as well as the music and upbeat atmosphere that make classes feel more engaging for me. Started with BJJ, but then switched to capoeira which they enjoyed more because of the acrobatics. The coaches and staff are really supportive and patient with the kids. The gym is pretty big and they have cameras so parents can observe from the lobby. Parking can be tough if you don't get there early, but there's room on the neighboring side streets which aren't too far away. Typically there's always people leaving between classes so I have always been able to find a stall. The prices are reasonable. Upfront costs may seem high, but it includes the uniform and which they need anyway. Otherwise it's a great price. They also offer discounts for siblings, military, etc.
